  • Let me disclaim…

Most people that write about prolife and abortion issues have have no personal knowledge about what they are writing or saying, only the passion of trying to save unborn children – which I do commend them for. However, just know that I have personally been inside of an abortion clinic, saw the conditions, dealt with the staff and suffered the procedure. What I have to purport is not arbitrary or flippant; it is the stone cold truth.

  • Salvation Help

Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life.

    In Jesus name I pray.
    Amen.

Slowly I turn, step by step

And you thought you never saw it coming – Freedom of Choice Act, bit by bit.

The Dornan Amendment has prohibited taxpayers from funding abortions since 1996, but Obama would change that by adding the word federal before the word funds in this section of the Amendment which would permit local funds to be used.

Under the Obama administration’s cut an paste, the prohibition will only apply to federal tax money, and the exemptioobamaabortionns would be expanded to include any case where a woman suffers from a physical disorder, physical injury, or physical illness, including those physical conditions that endanger the life of the mother, which includes so-called mental illness or distress. Even if that were the case, less than 1% of abortions come from incest and/or rape, and under 6% to ‘save the life of the mother’, which at that time, you are not a mother any longer…a mother wouldn’t kill her child.

“Some wide-eyed journalists and various political shills for the Obama administration continue to write fairy tales about how President Obama wants to pursue policies that would reduce abortions,” said Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee. “That is a political scam. In reality, President Obama is pursuing a step-by-step strategy to expand access to abortion.”

At this point, this bit of legislation is directed at Washington D.C. It is estimated that about 1,000 or more abortions would be performed and allow minors to receive taxpayer-funded abortions without parental consent in the District of Columbia if the revisions to the Dornan Amendment were allowed to be changed:

  1. Sneaking in bits of new legislation under the taxpayers nose
  2. Going after minor girls, again
  3. Deliberately going into an impoverished area; 20% under the poverty level
  4. Parents not allowed to know, under the LAW
  5. Making it all nice and legal-like, but not really.

“Common sense dictates one truism: we won’t find reductions in abortion as long as we continue to subsidize and promote it at taxpayers’ expense.  The Obama administration’s promise to find ways to reduce abortion numbers rings hollow in such an environment,” said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.

The Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government (headed by a Democrat) is scheduled to vote on the Amendment on July 7.

Don’t think for one minute that this does not affect you if you are not in the D.C. area. This is going nationwide under local laws and statutes. Remember, NO prolife groups were invited to the Obama’s 2010 budget proposal, but National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL) was there.

I can’t wait to see how many women from the surrounding D.C. area will descend like locusts to get free government abortions. Yet another task force for Obama to dream up to make women prove residency. And we get to pay for that, too.
