The act of abortion is a tool that murders an unborn child, no matter how much lipstick you put on it. It’s never the right thing to do or the humane thing to do. Abortion is a choice because the American people let the government into their bedrooms in 1973, citing a right to privacy? Their right to privacy became legal murder…talk about oxymoronic.
My husband and I attended the Rally for Life at the Ohio Statehouse for the Heartbeat Bill yesterday. And on the other side of the Statehouse, Planned Parenthood had their little counter rally. Seriously little, there were less than half the people for Life.
Truly, I have never witnessed so much hate. You can see the countenance of tyranny and violence on their faces and in their stance – it could be deemed demonic. But I would suppose that someone who professes a right to murder unborn children must have great unrest in their soul. It’s not natural or normal to hate so much for no reason.
I noticed that on the Heartbeat Bill side of the Statehouse there were very few people of color. However, on the other side of the Statehouse, there were many more minorities representing legal murder calling it ‘choice’. I cannot imagine how that can be when women like Margaret Sanger and Ruth Bader Ginsburg have voiced their disdain – rather matter-of-factly, I might add – for minorities procreating yet blacks and Hispanics are statistically aborting more than Caucasians. How can they be so deceived? Doesn’t an unborn child deserve the same civil liberties and rights that they do? For the second time in the last few days I watched the Freedom Riders on PBS. My husband looked at me and said, “How can they fight for their own civil rights but abort their own children?” I wish I had an answer for that.
The revelation of Life is understanding the fundamental right to life of every human being, and that right is slowly being taken away from us. No one wants to fight for it like our ancestors did over 235 years ago; people fought and died for what we are letting go of in the present time. Civil rights and liberties in the United States is how we became a nation. Being oppressed and persecuted took us to a new world where we could express ourselves, be equal and have the opportunities to have opinions, much less utter them.
One of the biggest problems is that the Church is nearly not involved at all. The Church has clearly chosen not to do anything saying that abortion is a political issue. Murder is political? Somewhat, since Roe v. Wade; murder became political in 1973. Pastors of large churches and denominations are scared of losing their big salaries if they take a stance on something as simple as the sixth commandment, “Thou shall not kill”. Pastor, if that is your opinion, we don’t need you.
The right to Life is slowly slipping away, one unborn child at a time. It’s time to save our children and take our country back from the tyrannical and the violent.
