Or, Let me people go.
There are all kinds of surveys and studies done on the issue of abortion, pro and con. We see online videos depicting a group of 20 somethings with pink hair screaming ‘Abortion without apology’ and then we see middle-aged people that stand outside of clinics peacefully praying and begging young women not to kill their baby.
And by the way, is it necessary to spit on or throw things at a peaceful prayer vigil outside of an abortion clinic? In the last few days, “A homemade incendiary device was thrown at one of the vigil participants, an elderly retired woman, by an assailant – as yet unidentified – as she walked on the public sidewalk near the abortion provider’s premises.”
There are protests that get ugly, not because of what they support, but in how they get their point across. Whatever happened to getting the fly with honey, not vinegar? In other words, we see ultra-liberals on one side of the gulf and conservatives on the other and we’re both trying to coax the women in the Great Gulf to come to ‘our’ side and fight for what’s right.
The studies and surveys that ‘We the People’ get to see are very one sided, taken from the top of the heap of your local Planned Parenthood. Why Planned Parenthood? Because ‘We the People’ paid for it. Besides the liberal junk we hear, we need all of the information, not just part of it. After abortion, no one in the Great Gulf wants to talk about it.
What we do see in newspapers and on television as average citizens regarding the abortion issue is not the whole story. There is a Great Gulf of people – mostly women – that won’t be heard because they are still under the bondage of coercion and shame.
Coercion is a major component of the act of abortion. Statistics say that at least 65% of women felt coercion or were forced to abort. What the average American thinks about that is the boyfriend told her to abort or else. It’s always the ‘boyfriend’. That can’t be further from the truth. Yes, boyfriends coerce – but so does friends, family, television and liberal propaganda, and sometimes (and this grieves me) their Church. Family is the worst offenders of coercive abortion. My mother was my offender. She is still in the Great Gulf also having suffered an abortion.
I remember being told that the crisis pregnancy center would show me pictures and movies to pressure me – to scare me – to abort anyway. And I believed them. THAT is what happens without Informed Consent Laws.
In a crisis situation, all we want as humans is someone to care and say ‘It’s gonna be alright’. It’s like having that dream when you’re being chased and chased and chased, and there’s somebody at every turn trying to hurt you, to kill you….and you finally wake up. With coercive abortion, you are wide awake in your nightmare.
Statistics say that at least 85% of women that aborted regretting their decision almost immediately. THAT is a Great Gulf.

FACT: 92% of diagnosed preborn Down syndrome babies are aborted.
In 1997, I was 35 years old…and surprised with pregnancy I did not expect. I was married, had two sons, my youngest was 5 years old. I went to the doctor and had my suspicions confirmed and I would be due the following February. I was honestly shocked, my now ex-husband and I tried to get pregnant years before and nothing happened. I assumed my baby days were over.
Since I was ‘old’ regarding child bearing, the doctors tried to prescribe an amniocentesis to check for Down syndrome and other ‘defects’. I gave a resounding NO. Before going to the doctor, I already had that conversation with my then ex. I told him that I would not want to know if something was wrong – I would be his/her mother, no matter what. What if I had the amniocentesis? What if it came back positive? What would I do? It was a long 9 months to find out HE was born quite healthy and on time, but that is not always the case. What I hear over and over again are doctors that are quick to give moms the choice of abortion – just in case.
All way too often women are given the option to abort their preborn child because of an presumed affliction. People only want perfection and the path of least resistance. Few give God a chance to be God.
A famous mom of a Down syndrome child is Sarah Palin. She had the test, she and her husband prepared for their child’s arrival, not demise. Palin said she knew abortion was an option but was able to overcome the fear of the unknown to go ahead with the birth.
Women abort very selectively, whether it is because their baby is the wrong sex or has an ‘abnormality’ they can’t or won’t deal with. Abortion on demand is a rampant slaughter of innocent lives, and picking on the sick ones is just plain abominable.

A recent headline in CNN and Reuters said, “Women who have had a first-trimester abortion are no more likely to seek psychiatric care after the procedure than before — but the risk of a mental health problem increases if the woman gives birth, new research shows.”
Garbage….filthy, stinking propaganda garbage. That study was not done in the United States besides the fact that IT DOESN’T HOLD WATER because of the vast holes in it. But it will get plenty of liberal media play.
I am so glad Reuters ironed that out for me! And all this time I mourned the loss of my child from abortion to a horrific lifestyle, addictions, etc….I GUESS I JUST WASTED MY TIME?
The psychological impact from abortion is real. I am a witness to the trauma of being post abortive and so are millions of other women that have succumbed to the lie that the blob of tissue was not a human child.
If a woman has absolutely no repercussions of any kind after her abortion, whether it happened last week or 30 years ago, then she has no regard for any kind of LIFE; her own, her family…she is not stoic, she is dead inside and I have to wonder if she could ever love anybody at all.
I practically lost consciousness after this: “….The researchers said the results (of this bogus study) suggest that the risk factors for needing mental health services in girls or women who seek abortion probably predate the abortion and indeed may make termination of the pregnancy more likely.”
I get it now…all women who have aborted and showed regret, had depression, or psychosis, were in fact CRAZY before they aborted, thus needed counseling before the procedure and perhaps would not have aborted? Now that is INSANITY.
Pressure and coercion puts women and girls at risk for pre-marital sex and the likelihood of abortion. Rarely, if at all, does a woman or young girl WANT to get an abortion.
Counseling doesn’t change things, God does.
You may be post abortive and haven’t yet related your abortion to your symptoms: anxiety, depression, guilt, eating disorders, self degrading behaviors, addictions, etc. But I assure you, Post Abortion Syndrome is real, it has a face. Mine and millions of others.

This time of year brings up a bevy of emotions for everyone, good and bad. Women who have lost a child to abortion feel abandoned and dismal. We are pariah, we are the most inhuman, according to the world. Why are we here? Is there a reason for all of this? Does it have to hurt this bad? WHY ME?? No one is on this Earth by accident. We are not an abysmal science experiment. We are not a by-product of an accidental explosion. Humans have not evolved from soulless single-cell bits and pieces that randomly came together over billions of years:
‘I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.’ Psalm 139:14
God made us perfectly and with purpose. We were not set up to fail; we were created to know a loving God. That may be the only instinct that humans have. There is not one thing that will keep you from the Kingdom of God, except unbelief. Everyone that has or will be born has a specific task that God has chosen. We have been allowed to sin and sin and sin so that one day we would turn and seek God.
‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’ Romans 8:28
We have been put in the position to jeopardize and destroy what is His first – our unborn child. Because of circumstances that seem to be out of our control we destroy what is His. We are under a misunderstanding that God makes humans for amusement, not with a soul and purpose. Through our own difficult decisions and circumstances, we are where we are in our lives right now. We made those choices, He allowed them.
BUT: I was foreknown by Him, not by my parents or my family. Aborted children were known by God first: ‘For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.’ Romans 8:29
Just as God has allowed us to sin and destroy, we humans allow others to dictate our lives with godlessness and void. Post Abortive women allowed their child to be destroyed by human hands. Just as the sun will come up every morning, so is the evidence that a child died at my request.
‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.’ Jeremiah 1:5
CHOICE destroyed what was God’s first…’NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’. Praise God for His forgiveness and taking care of my child until I can see him again.

The democrats see abortion as a social issue and republicans see it as a political issue. Since abortion became law in 1973, it became political which means we have to deal with law, not moral objection. Prolifers have a harder road ahead of them because of implications we have to deal with while democrats just take our tax money to pay for what we abhor. I wonder how much longer abortion clinics would stay open if there was no tax money to pay for it. I’m still baffled how Planned Parenthood is a nonprofit that makes a lot of money from killing American children. PP’s president makes just under 400K per year that taxes help pay for! Could you imagine if the government had cancer clinics all over the United States funded by tax dollars to defeat and treat people with cancer? But it’s cheaper to kill our kids instead of treating cancer.
Out of political correctness we are changing abortion law one teeny step at a time; ultrasound law, parental notification law, etc. And as important as these steps are, we are forgetting that we are only holding back what might be inevitable: the killing of unborn Americans. We need to change the WHOLE law of abortion and the hearts of Americans. For as purposeful as a prolifer’s heart is, there is always the prochoicer that will be there to stop it. There are states that have current antiabortion laws but the ACLU continues in the appeals process to stop what has been voted upon.
Do you really believe that Prolifers are not noticing how prochoicers have to make a patchwork quilt out of Roe v Wade? Do you understand that millions a millions of dollars are at the ready to stop Prolifers? When you have people like Bill & Melinda Gates with an open check book with multi-millions at the ready, how do we abolish this law? One precious Life at a time, one woman at a time, one beating heart at a time. Money can’t buy that. This nation has to come back to God and the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ to change the evil heart of Man.
After Roe v Wade, we as a nation have seen the bruised eye of the Supreme Court even though they can’t seem to understand why their face hurts. Abortion law has taken America to a level of low that even the entire world has noticed and is mimicking: prochoicers will and can kill our unborn children, because they can.

An Associated Press story reads in part: ‘An obscure part of the law allows states to restrict abortion coverage by private plans operating in new insurance markets. Capitalizing on that language, abortion foes have succeeded in passing bans that, in some cases, go beyond federal statutes…..”We don’t consider elective abortion to be health care, so we don’t think it’s a bad thing for fewer private insurance companies to cover it,” said Mary Harned, attorney for Americans United for Life, a national organization that wrote a model law for the states.’
The Health Care Freedom Act is considered in states as either a bill or a state constitutional amendment – effectively prohibiting the enactment of any new government-run healthcare programs within the state.
At least 29 states are enacting such a law or a close facsimile of. As well, there 20 states on board with the newly adopted ultrasound law(s) with many more states to follow. States are also considering legislation of ‘personhood’ which will give the unborn child ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ instead of impending death. The Tenth Amendment provides that ‘The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.’
It’s about time our votes count.
With all the recent brouhaha regarding the new Arizona immigration law, we see how a single state can pick up the ball and run with getting done what needs to be done, and not in ‘DC time’….”We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act,” Gov. Jan Brewer said after signing the law. “But decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation.”
One voter at a time…one state at a time.
We are trying to ‘form a more perfect union’, not secede from it. However, in order to keep utter chaos from erupting from what seems to be a socialistic plan from the progressive left, we as Americans have to take a moment and study our Constitution and make a concerted effort to keep our country and our states FREE as it was intended by our founding fathers.
We can change the face of abortion ‘one baby at a time, one mom at a time, one heart at a time’

I will rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress. No more shall there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the young man shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.*
The Holy Spirit told this basic truth of Salvation to Isaiah regarding the New Jerusalem in the 1000 year reign here on Earth. I am no Bible scholar but I am still so surprised at the millions of Christians that do not understand End Times, nor do they want to. What I truly love about the Book of Isaiah is that if you have a rough time understanding Revelation, just read Isaiah. Not only is it readable but the Holy Spirit used very basic examples and truths – parables – that we may understand.
A basic truth told in this scripture is that a baby will see heaven before a hundred year old sinner will regardless of how wise he/she is. Why? Because the old sinner had a chance to repent and accept Jesus as Savior, the baby did not. Worldwide there are about 42 million abortions per year. That means since the Roe v. Wade decision 36 years ago, at least 1.5 BILLION children have died due to abortion.
The Post Abortive Woman does not have to weep any longer; her child is in Heaven rejoicing while we mourn on Earth. What I want the Post Abortive Woman to know is that she can see her child again if only she’d accept Jesus.
God foreknew that this holocaust would happen; He gave us a way out – to choose not to abort. But knowing we would, He gave us ‘beauty for ashes and the oil of JOY for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified’.**

A repost from July, 2009
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”*
I know as an activist that abortion will probably be a fact of life today and in the future, considering the current administration and the so-called health reform on the table.
So, what are we supposed to do?
We have to work on the hearts of the moms out there that are pregnant and considering abortion. This is why street ministry and the internet works.
When I was driving to work one day I saw someone that seemed to be pacing back and forth in front of a small office building here in Baton Rouge. The next day he was there again, pacing back and forth in front of the same building. Finally I saw him again a couple of days later but this time I saw what he was holding up while he was pacing…it was a crucifix of Christ on the Cross. Suddenly I knew exactly what he was doing; he was there to talk to women and girls before they went in that building to get an abortion. What was really sad is that he was there all by himself.
The reality of what these women are contemplating hasn’t become real until someone tells them so. I know that sounds very elementary, but honestly it’s true. The only reality these women know at the time is keeping their boyfriend, staying in school, fitting into their clothes, keeping their parents from finding out, on and on and on. They truly have no idea a living human being is inside of their body.
Street ministry, peaceful protests and informational websites does a lot to bring the reality that a child is about to lose its life if the mom decides to abort.
We need to see the reality of abortion; the slain children of this grotesque act need to be heard so the next child will have a chance at the life it was ordained to have.
So the next time you wanna just hang it up and throw in the towel because you think the deck is stacked against the scourge of abortion, remember that every unborn human being is counting on activists like you and me to tell their mom to not murder them…because no one else will.
- one baby at a time, one mom at a time, one heart at a time-

‘…For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.’*
I certainly do not deserve Mercy. We comprehend that through sin we understand and appreciate the Mercy of God. So merciful is He that he gave us His only Son. How precious Life is and we regard it as trite and expendable.
The anguish of the Post Abortive Woman is real. We walk around in a stale and institutional like world that sees sin as an Olympic sport rather than the filth that it is. The Mercy I received was more than I ever deserved or even hoped for. But God is good. He gave us the first step to Mercy – repent, and forgive: ‘For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.’**
It’s so hard forgiving them…the guy that hands you the money, whoever drives you to the clinic, the friends and family that talked you into it, even the doctor…but I HAD to forgive and seek God’s Mercy or I would never heal. But many post abortive women don’t know about repentance, forgiveness, mercy or grace…‘How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?’***
What about the Church?
The silence in the pews speaks volumes; Christians don’t enter the fight against abortion or exhibit compassion to the Post Abortive Woman. Where is the forgiveness? Where is the mercy? Church teaches us about Grace, but what about the mercy it takes to attain Grace? Just as Israel forsook God, such does the Church toward the post abortive women that are hurting.
‘…For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.’*
About 43% of all women, 45 years old and under are Post Abortive.
Abortion can be stopped – one baby at a time, one mom at a time, one heart at a time. Mercy.

‘If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot…’*
The following birth control methods have been proposed to sometimes prevent implantation of a blastocyst:
- Hormonal contraceptives (the Pill, Norplant, Depo-Provera, Plan B)
- Some herbal contraceptives may work primarily by preventing implantation.**
- Intrauterine device (IUD)
Incredibly, there are websites that tells a woman how to have an ‘herbal abortion’. That was news to me! As I read a specific website on herbal abortion, I came to the realization that there are many witches and demons among us (they used to be called midwives, c.1800’s)…after all, who else would make such a ‘potion’? I’ll post further on that subject later.
A blastocyst is a child only 4-5 days old in gestation. If the child cannot attach to the womb by the fifth day, it dies.
The Pill particularly is supposed to not allow fertilization to happen. That is not always true. The progestin component of the Pill (and Norplant, Depo-Provera, Plan B) causes the inner lining of the uterus to become thin and shriveled, unable to support implantation of the child; thus the child dies. Also, progestin lowers the effectiveness with how the fallopian tubes force eggs from the ovaries toward the uterus. This can cause the child not to reach the uterus in time to implant successfully, and again…the child dies.
The IUD is a whole different story – one that I can share because it happened to ME.
The only thing I knew about hormone based contraceptives is that I couldn’t take them because the hormones did not agree with me. Apparently, I have plenty of my own. That being said, I asked the doctor what would be my best way to control fertility without hormones and he said the IUD. Somehow in my own mind I believed what he said and went with it. After all, I was 37 years old and just had my ‘last’ child. Shame on me…I did not do a bit of research on the IUD because I TRUSTED MY DOCTOR.
About nine years later, after I met and married a wonderful Christian man, I had a strange thing happen while waiting for my cycle to start…it didn’t. And just like that I had pregnancy symptoms. Then about 4 days later, the symptoms stopped. I knew deep, deep down that I was pregnant and then I wasn’t. What happened? A week or so after that, I was listening to a Christian radio show called Frances and Friends. Her guest was someone that was speaking on population control overseas and he made a statement regarding the forced use of IUD’s on women in third-world countries. He went on to say that an IUD causes abortion if the woman becomes pregnant. I WAS DEVESTATED. I knew I was pregnant and now the baby is dead because of my CHOICE to use an IUD…I was lied to by a doctor. Of course, within a few days I had it removed.
The IUD absolutely DOES NOT PREVENT PREGNANCY, it has never prevented pregnancy. The IUD only keeps the baby from attaching to the womb…it kills it. Abortifacients are not labeled as such, either. Don’t bother reading the label or believe everything your doctor says…until you do your own research and make an educated decision based on facts regarding contraception and Life.
There have been over 50 million lives lost due to abortion. The amount of abortions due to abortifacients are uncountable.
*Exodus 21:22-24, KJV
**FYI: If you are pregnant or want to become pregnant, stay away from these herbs: brewer’s yeast, vitamin C, wild carrot, blue cohosh, black cohosh, slippery elm, pennyroyal, nutmeg, mugwort, papaya, vervain, common rue, ergot, saffron and tansy. Animal studies have shown the pomegranate may be an effective abortifacient.
