Most people that write about prolife and abortion issues have have no personal knowledge about what they are writing or saying, only the passion of trying to save unborn children – which I do commend them for. However, just know that I have personally been inside of an abortion clinic, saw the conditions, dealt with the staff and suffered the procedure. What I have to purport is not arbitrary or flippant; it is the stone cold truth.
Salvation Help
Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life.
I hate that I was forced to abort by someone I trusted. I hate that I was lied to by my family, friends and the abortionist. I hate that I have to carry this around like an albatross around my neck until the day I die.
I hated myself.
How can anyone get past what is already in the past? The only thing that defeats hate is forgiveness:
‘Then said Jesus, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.’ Luke 23:34
I learned this 30 years after my abortion. That is way too long to hate my coercers and myself. I finally concluded that they really did not know what they were doing because all they saw was a ‘fix’ to a temporary problem…everyone involved had an agenda to take my unborn baby because it benefitted them. To them it was all about the money; it was cheaper to force me to abort than to buy diapers and formula. But for me, I get to keep a vivid memory of destroying an innocent Life.
God forced me to make a decision; accept and forgive OR hate. Once I accepted what happened and forgave, my future was placed before me.
Ministry is a hard thing but its reward is worth it. Ministry forces you to look inward all the time for everything. Every big or little thing that has happened to you is magnified so that you can see it now with spiritual eyes instead of the how the world sees it. Always remember that the world seeks to take your life, the Lord wants to give you Life eternal.
All that being said, the burden He gave me was obvious – to minister to women and men that are post-abortive AND to fight for the rights of the unborn in the Church and politically. God has given me a specific vision to go and spread this message of forgiveness, hope and love in His name.
There are all kinds of surveys and studies done on the issue of abortion, pro and con. We see online videos depicting a group of 20 somethings with pink hair screaming ‘Abortion without apology’ and then we see middle-aged people that stand outside of clinics peacefully praying and begging young women not to kill their baby.
And by the way, is it necessary to spit on or throw things at a peaceful prayer vigil outside of an abortion clinic? In the last few days, “A homemade incendiary device was thrown at one of the vigil participants, an elderly retired woman, by an assailant – as yet unidentified – as she walked on the public sidewalk near the abortion provider’s premises.”
There are protests that get ugly, not because of what they support, but in how they get their point across. Whatever happened to getting the fly with honey, not vinegar? In other words, we see ultra-liberals on one side of the gulf and conservatives on the other and we’re both trying to coax the women in the Great Gulf to come to ‘our’ side and fight for what’s right.
The studies and surveys that ‘We the People’ get to see are very one sided, taken from the top of the heap of your local Planned Parenthood. Why Planned Parenthood? Because ‘We the People’ paid for it. Besides the liberal junk we hear, we need all of the information, not just part of it. After abortion, no one in the Great Gulf wants to talk about it.
What we do see in newspapers and on television as average citizens regarding the abortion issue is not the whole story. There is a Great Gulf of people – mostly women – that won’t be heard because they are still under the bondage of coercion and shame.
Coercion is a major component of the act of abortion. Statistics say that at least 65% of women felt coercion or were forced to abort. What the average American thinks about that is the boyfriend told her to abort or else. It’s always the ‘boyfriend’. That can’t be further from the truth. Yes, boyfriends coerce – but so does friends, family, television and liberal propaganda, and sometimes (and this grieves me) their Church. Family is the worst offenders of coercive abortion. My mother was my offender. She is still in the Great Gulf also having suffered an abortion.
I remember being told that the crisis pregnancy center would show me pictures and movies to pressure me – to scare me – to abort anyway. And I believed them. THAT is what happens without Informed Consent Laws.
In a crisis situation, all we want as humans is someone to care and say ‘It’s gonna be alright’. It’s like having that dream when you’re being chased and chased and chased, and there’s somebody at every turn trying to hurt you, to kill you….and you finally wake up. With coercive abortion, you are wide awake in your nightmare.
Statistics say that at least 85% of women that aborted regretting their decision almost immediately. THAT is a Great Gulf.
I know you’ve read the story regarding the babies found at a Buddhist temple in Thailand, millions have. Abortion is illegal there except in rape, incest and when life of the mother is in jeopardy. In a way it’s an oxymoron…Thailand has one of the strongest sex trade industries in the world but abortion is illegal. Pro choicers will argue that their government should see the folly and allow abortion, you know…for the woman’s health. In fact – let’s get the United States to pay for it like they do everywhere else in the world! Do they ever see the obvious? Shut down the sex trade industry that caters to child rapists and every kind of perversion!
Still, be prepared for the argument – if Thai women had access to legal child killing this wouldn’t be an issue. Take a closer look at the photo and you’ll notice these were babies that were in or nearly in their third trimester of gestation to have been large enough to be individually put in white trash bags. In fact, it would be the opinion of many that a lot of these babies’ mothers are not from Thailand. Bad news travels faster than good; it stands to reason that this woman (and others like her) did these illegal second and third term abortions was quite well known all over Asia and probably the world. And maybe these were babies that the temple workers didn’t get to and many other nameless babies have been cremated certainly for years before this was found out.
I’m sure we’ll never know the whole story, but we know enough to be aware that the issue with third term abortioners is not inclusive to the U.S. What should be a concern is who else in America is doing this horrific thing unnoticed?
Or, I will NEVER eat in a Chinese restaurant EVER.
At least 13 million (reported only) babies are aborted each year in China -unborn female babies are discarded most; unborn male babies bring the most money. Live births are about 20 million per year. Most abortions are performed because of sex selection – boys are preferred. The irony is that birth control pills are available over the counter.
You know, as I write this I still wonder if this is urban legend or real. God help us in either situation.
The Chinese make soup with unborn babies???
‘Usually, I washed the fetuses clean, and added ginger, orange peel and pork to make soup. After taking it for a while, I felt a lot better and my asthma disappeared. I used to take placenta, but it was not so helpful.’ When asked if he was concerned about the fetuses containing diseases, Cheng was dismissive. ‘I bought them from government hospitals. They would check the pregnant women before doing the operations and only sell them to me if there was no problem. Also, I always boil them over high heat which kills any bacteria.’ Although Cheng has overcome any squeamishness over eating fetus soup, he says he draw the line at consuming whole dead embryos. He also refrains from telling people of his grisly dietary habits.
About as far back as I can get with this story is in the Hong Kong Eastern Express on April 12, 1995. The Chinese consider unborn children to be health food and enhances ‘stamina’. “They (aborted babies) can make your skin smoother, your body stronger and are good for the kidneys,” said Dr. Warren Lee, president of the Hong Kong Nutrition Association. ‘Normally, we doctors take them (just aborted babies) home to eat – all free’. I cannot conceive how anyone has lacked sensibility to the point of eating babies for their own narcissism.

A similar story was written in Life Advocate, Feb. 1995 in an article by Denise Billings, titled ‘Federal Cannibalism’: ‘Tissue cultures are obtained by dropping still living babies into meat grinders and homogenizing them, according to the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine.’
Forced abortion is prevalent in China. Their ‘family planning’ department will come and carry the pregnant woman to hospital for an abortion regardless of the gestation. Read more about that here.
And just as unsettling…Recently in Philadelphia, PA, an abortion facility being investigated for the death of a woman that died during a botched abortion, officials found dozens of late-term unborn children who were killed in abortions as long as 30 years ago. It doesn’t take a genius to get that these nameless children were left there in a freezer because later term abortions were against the law.
So, when you watch television tonight about the ongoing health care debate, remember how badly Democrats want abortion in their legislation – again, sensibility vs. vanity. Is the United States so far away from government forced abortion?
How far away is China? Not as far away as I’d like. There is a little-known battle for survival going in some parts of the world. Those at risk are baby girls, and the casualties are in the millions each year. The weapons being used against them are prenatal sex selection, abortion and female infanticide — the systematic killing of girls soon after they are born.
In September 1997, the World Health Organization’s Regional Committee for the Western Pacific issued a report claiming that more than 50 million women were estimated to be ‘missing’ in China because of the institutionalized killing and neglect of girls due to Beijing’s population control program that limits parents to one child. –Gendercide.org-
Another site claimed that number was over 60 million girls ‘missing’; not boys – girls.
Baby trafficking has become quite the big business in China. But it’s what the black market and the Chinese government will do to get these infants that frustrate and sicken me (read the entire article here):
“I’m going to sell the baby for foreign adoption. I can get a lot of money for her,” he told the sobbing mother as he drove her with the baby to an orphanage in Zhenyuan, a nearby city in the southern province of Guizhou. In return, he promised that the family wouldn’t have to pay fines for violating China’s one-child policy.
But some parents are beginning to come forward to tell harrowing stories of babies who were taken away by coercion, fraud or kidnapping — sometimes by government officials who covered their tracks by pretending that the babies had been abandoned.
Can anyone imagine someone coming to your door to take your baby because you have ‘enough’ children? Most of these parents are from remote villages and are illiterate.
One adoptive mother comments: “I love my daughter, but if I had any idea my money would cause her to be taken away from another mother who loved her, I never would have adopted.”
China forces women to abort their unborn children for the sake of the environment, as I reported in a recent post. China also socialized the Church so that the government can monitor it; but that’s for another post.
Then the Chinese government has this to say: “It’s a lie that they took babies away without their parents’ permission. That’s impossible,” said Peng Qiuping, a party official and propaganda chief for Zhenyuan. “These parents agreed that the children should be put up for adoption. They understood that they were greedy and had more children than they could afford.”
China is ruining our economy and they sell their children to us? Is that a cost you are willing to make? But interestingly, I’m watching a show on PBS regarding the Chinese and world economy as a whole…but I didn’t see any children.
How much longer will it take until our ability to have a family in the United States is ‘governed’?

I sort of agree with this, and I understand where he was going with it BUT this ‘plan’ has everything to do with the sanctity of life. The HR3200 is made to weed out the sickly, the weak, the elderly and the unborn from sponging off the government, a kind of eugenic way of thinking. It’s like they are trying to make a liberal super race in the not so distant future.
Is there a bottom line? YES. Keep calling out the liberals to answer for their actions! Someone is listening…and keep life legal in every sense of the word LEGAL. God ordained LIFE, not Liberal Left.
I write to express my concern about a new White House program to monitor American citizens’ speech opposing your health care policies, and to seek your assurances that this program is being carried out in a manner consistent with the First Amendment and America’s tradition of free speech and public discourse.
Yesterday, in an official White House release entitled “Facts are Stubborn Things,” the White House Director of New Media, Macon Phillips, asserted that there was “a lot of disinformation out there,” and encouraged citizens to report “fishy” speech opposing your health care policies to the White House. Phillips specifically targeted private, unpublished, even casual speech, writing that “rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.” Phillips wrote “If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”
I am not aware of any precedent for a President asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed “fishy” or otherwise inimical to the White House’s political interests.
By requesting that citizens send “fishy” emails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House. You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection program. As Congress debates health care reform and other critical policy matters, citizen engagement must not be chilled by fear of government monitoring the exercise of free speech rights.
I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward emails critical of his policies to the White House. I suspect that you would have been leading the charge in condemning such a program-and I would have been at your side denouncing such heavy-handed government action.
So I urge you to cease this program immediately. At the very least, I request that you detail to Congress and the public the protocols that your White House is following to purge the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in “fishy” speech. And I respectfully request an answer to the following:
How do you intend to use the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in “fishy” speech?
How do you intend to notify citizens who have been reported for “fishy” speech?
What action do you intend to take against citizens who have been reported for engaging in “fishy” speech?
Do your own past statements qualify as “disinformation”? For example, is it “disinformation” to note that in 2003 you said:”I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal health care plan”?
What should Pastors and faith leaders do about the ObamaScare Plan? Well, the same thing they should have done when race instead of the issues was forefront during the last president election…teach.
In order to keep the government out of your church, you have to stay away from supporting candidates. However, the Church should approach matters of life and death even during elections and impending legislation particularly if it goes against Bible doctrine, which abortion, the gay agenda and euthanasia does – or is supposed to.
Many faith leaders believe that we do need reform in health care. We want costs to go down and medicine to be affordable for EVERYONE. This is attainable without major legislation. However, to get what the Democrats want, they have to dress up their sow with a string of pearls. We ain’t buyin’ it. The pig is big and ugly, reeking of abortion, euthanasia and the gay agenda.
Nationally, faith leaders are getting together to push the health reform as a moral imperative. The ‘Forty Days for Health Reform’ campaign includes rallies, prayer vigils, a national call-in with President Barack Obama next week, sermons and congregation discussions on health care.
I don’t know if that’s such a good idea. Again, there are way too many pigs wearing pearls these days – especially in the Church today. With denominations supporting the gay agenda and abortion, I can’t trust them to carry out what I, as a Christian, deem biblically correct according to the Word of God.
Fifty-three percent of Americans are against the current healthcare reform legislation and the numbers are falling, as well as Obama’s approval rating overall. I say LET THE PIGS WALLER IN THE MUD. I find it amusing.

AARP gets the deserved backlash…From Foxnews.com: The senior advocacy group AARP is now coming under criticism from its own members for appearing to support President Obama’s health care reform plans…..Some AARP members say they are so outraged that they’ve taken to tearing up their membership cards and firing off heated letters to the organization’s CEO…..”We get letters every single day from people that are very upset about this bill and about the AARP supporting it,” said Stuart Barton, president of the American Seniors Association. “So I don’t blame them for coming back and saying they are going to tear up their AARP cards.”
Not everyone is on the ObamaScare Plan bandwagon…From the Times-Picayune: On the last day before the U.S. House began its August recess, Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao, R-New Orleans, told The Times-Picayune (NOLA.com) that he could not vote for health-care overhaul if it permits any public money to be used to pay for abortions…..“I’d rather save my soul than vote for the health care bill.”
All good things come to an end…From Foxnews.com: “This provision may start us down a treacherous path toward government-encouraged euthanasia if enacted into law,” House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich. said in a statement last month…..Euthanasia fears are among some of the legislation’s critics and leading others to believe that the White House is looking to save money by pressuring insurers to provide less coverage to seniors.
And my personal favorite…Reality Check! If you want to hear the White House lie to you about the ObamaScare plan – “We’re offering the site and tools to empower individuals across the country to take this content into their own hands and share it among their networks,” a senior administration official said.
Reality Check works on your ‘trust’ in the government; do not be deceived. The ObamaScare Plan bill is a plan for population control, both before and after birth. For all intents and purposes, it’s about death. Think of it this way – the Freedom of Choice Act was supposed to be the ‘first thing I’ll sign when I become President’ – and so far hasn’t been mentioned as much as us lifers thought it would be. This is why…the HR 3200 is going to take care of all of it…in one big whoosh of the pen.
