  • Let me disclaim…

Most people that write about prolife and abortion issues have have no personal knowledge about what they are writing or saying, only the passion of trying to save unborn children – which I do commend them for. However, just know that I have personally been inside of an abortion clinic, saw the conditions, dealt with the staff and suffered the procedure. What I have to purport is not arbitrary or flippant; it is the stone cold truth.

  • Salvation Help

Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life.

    In Jesus name I pray.
    Amen.

A brush with LIFE.

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on September 7, 2011

As we walk the halls of our lives and ministries, meandering without seeing, we think we have no effect on those our ministries focus on. Those of us in Ministry want instant results, just like anyone else. We use our eyes way too often and forget to open our bibles and hearts to an immutable God that will guide us to those that need LIFE saving Salvation and encouragement.

Truth is what everyone seeks; truth about whom we are, truth about where we’re going, truth about LIFE. Is there an end to the whirlwind? Is there peace? Is there an absolute TRUTH?

In everyone’s day-to-day LIFE, we tend to focus on what is negative because it’s what we SEE with our eyes. We ‘see’ what is set before us with our eyes only – it’s our perception and discernment that needs to be honed:

“I am the way, the truth, and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:6-7

Without perception, how could we come to know Him? And without discernment, how can we have truth in Him?

In Prolife ministry like KeepLifeLegal, we know that to save unborn babies, we have to try to change the heart of the mother and the abortionist to accept that LIFE is from God, not by accident. In evangelistic ministry, much is the same; to be saved you have to change your heart and accept Jesus Christ as Savior.

Pastors and Ministers: Today you may help change or save someone else’s LIFE, or maybe they’ll surprise you and change yours.

What about LIFE in the Universe?

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on July 30, 2011

I am a deep thinker or maybe even a ponderer of things not usually thought of. I don’t require much, just the palette that the Lord gave me – His Holy Word.

How big is God?

God made everything…EVERYTHING. Scientists, philosophers and figure-heads have tried since the beginning of time to build a case against God being the Creator of Life and the universe. What a daunting task trying to unseat God!

Can a person assume to understand God’s completeness? Would a mere human understand that the Greatest Story ever told needed a beginning and end, not just the juicy middle that everyone only conveniently remembers? If you cannot grasp the beginning and end, then you cannot assume to understand the vastness of God and LIFE.

In the ‘known’ universe, there are thus far 70 sextillion stars…that’s 21 zeros after 70. The most current estimates guess that there are 100 to 200 billion galaxies in the Universe; it’s been estimated that about 10% of stars have planets which would mean about 20 billion solar systems in our galaxy alone.

This is where men like Stephen Hawking comes along; trying to unseat God by giving us the ‘Big Bang’ THEORY….everything is here by some kind of extraordinary accident. What God has created with His immeasurable love has been deemed an accident.

We are by no means AN ACCIDENT. God cannot make accidents otherwise He would not be perfect. While we ponder Life and its beginning, middle and end, there is Jesus who God gave us to show us our imperfections, that were are teachable, and that we are eternal with Him if we choose to be.

Truly, Life is quite simple. We have the vastness of the universe to show us how important we are to God to have something so incredible. And, we have Jesus, who God gave us to prove His compassion, not His dispassion:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Joy will come in the morning.

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on May 3, 2011

Minutes become hours, hours become days, days become months, months become years. My abortion, even after 33 years, will never leave my thoughts. My journey with this abominable decision has been up and down, mostly down until I came to know Jesus Christ as Lord. Until that day in December of 2001 I was under the convictions of my own mind, inspired by the pit of Hell. Satan demanded my life; Jesus demanded only my belief in His finished Work at the Cross. I found that to be much more palatable than an eternity of a living Hell.

‘For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for LIFE; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.’ Psalm 30:5, NKJV

But can my sin be forgiven? Not only has my sin(s) been forgiven but they have been forgotten! My sin will never be held against me ever again! Jesus died for ALL of my sins, not just the wimpy ones.

I have days where I honestly wonder if I will ever get over my own sin. I sometimes can’t seem to put one foot in front of the other and hate getting up in the morning. Abortion always has at least two victims. My child is in Glory, thank God – but I’m still here baring the offense. But God is good!! His promises are sure.

‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.’ Jeremiah 29:11, NKJV

I am the Woman at the Well, going about my daily grind thinking about a life I can’t get out of the way of. It seems like a path that is set out for me, it’ll be all that I know. But Jesus is at the Well waiting for me…ME!! I am a sinful woman that has only known an idolatrous religion and lived life like it didn’t matter. But Jesus is at the Well waiting for ME!! Look at me…I’m so unworthy. But Jesus is at the Well waiting for ME!! And I will exalt Him to my peers and neighbors for He is good and He forgives ME!!!

I am restored because I know Jesus – but I need a shot in the arm now and then, I am human and I do grieve and hurt for what I did in my old life. I go to my Bible and read the Promises that God has given me because I believe in Him and not a world that still seeks to destroy me.

I thank God for his Mercy and His Son, Jesus Christ – my Lord.

‘Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.’ Psalm 106:1, NKJV

Choose Life.

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on August 31, 2010

“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live…”  Deuteronomy 30:19

Your life has been first ordained by God before the foundations of the world. So has your unborn child’s life. Regardless of your personal situation, your unborn child is innocent on all counts. Your life might be eight kinds of hell right now, but how is that the fault of an innocent unborn child to have to die for your sins?

We have a Redeemer in Jesus Christ who was chosen before Creation was created to die for our sins that we might be saved if we believe on Him. Jesus was innocent on all counts; He died without sin…perfect. It took a perfect sacrifice to atone for our evil, sinful hearts. He is the Sacrifice, not your unborn child.

Killing your child will not change your life for the better, but I assure you, your life will change.
