  • Let me disclaim…

Most people that write about prolife and abortion issues have have no personal knowledge about what they are writing or saying, only the passion of trying to save unborn children – which I do commend them for. However, just know that I have personally been inside of an abortion clinic, saw the conditions, dealt with the staff and suffered the procedure. What I have to purport is not arbitrary or flippant; it is the stone cold truth.

  • Salvation Help

Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life.

    In Jesus name I pray.
    Amen.

I HATE ABORTION.

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on May 28, 2011

I hate that I was forced to abort by someone I trusted. I hate that I was lied to by my family, friends and the abortionist. I hate that I have to carry this around like an albatross around my neck until the day I die.

I hated myself.

How can anyone get past what is already in the past? The only thing that defeats hate is forgiveness:

‘Then said Jesus, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.’ Luke 23:34

I learned this 30 years after my abortion. That is way too long to hate my coercers and myself. I finally concluded that they really did not know what they were doing because all they saw was a ‘fix’ to a temporary problem…everyone involved had an agenda to take my unborn baby because it benefitted them. To them it was all about the money; it was cheaper to force me to abort than to buy diapers and formula. But for me, I get to keep a vivid memory of destroying an innocent Life.

God forced me to make a decision; accept and forgive OR hate. Once I accepted what happened and forgave, my future was placed before me.

Ministry is a hard thing but its reward is worth it. Ministry forces you to look inward all the time for everything. Every big or little thing that has happened to you is magnified so that you can see it now with spiritual eyes instead of the how the world sees it. Always remember that the world seeks to take your life, the Lord wants to give you Life eternal.

All that being said, the burden He gave me was obvious – to minister to women and men that are post-abortive AND to fight for the rights of the unborn in the Church and politically. God has given me a specific vision to go and spread this message of forgiveness, hope and love in His name.

Today, I am VICTORIOUS and post-abortive.

Is it ‘friendly fire’ or thinning the herd?

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on March 25, 2011

Why shoot your own?

I’ve had the distinct privilege to testify for the HB 125, the Heartbeat Bill, here in Ohio. I’ve met the big-leaguers in the prolife world. I stand with those that understand when life begins and what WE THE PEOPLE need to do to unravel Roe. But all is not well, when there is that fly in the ointment.

The fly in question is a person that stands in the way of hearing the beating heart of your unborn child. He is a person that professes to be prolife. He heads up the Ohio Right to Life. I have to wonder what kind of agenda that the Ohio Right to Life’s Executive Director, Mike Gonidakis has. What is unfortunate is that he is not alone. How can that be? But this is a surety: Gonidakis is trying to divide the prolife world here in Ohio and may try the same in other states.

He is making Prolifers a laughing stock to the world and to prochoicers.

“Unfortunately the court has ruled that states can place limitations on post-viability abortions, but pre-viability there can be zero restrictions,” Gonidakis said, adding that the current makeup of the U.S. Supreme Court, with two recent appointments from President Obama, would not reverse that…..“We certainly don’t want the courts to reaffirm Roe (v Wade) with a decision in Ohio.” Columbus Dispatch, 2/8/11

How do you get from the Heartbeat Bill to reaffirming Roe? That is asinine.

As I have mentioned time and time again, we cannot get abolition of Roe until we get all the steps in a row, all steps.

How much longer can it take to stop the carnage of our unborn? This division is going to cost the lives of unborn children over a personality conflict instead of standing together as one to change this heinous thing called abortion.

I am disappointed in Gonidakis and his irresponsibility in this matter. He is personally setting the prolife effort BACK years in his decision not to back the HB 125 and to talk other directors of RTL chapters to do the same.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on February 25, 2011

After reading a Facebook update from a Christian woman about a black child’s chance at seeing life OUTSIDE the womb in NYC, let’s consider this: before you open your toxic mouth, do a little research before you spew your vomit-like opinion.

I hate ignorance. And it has no place in ministry.

Abortion is a very uncomfortable subject, even for the most seasoned Christian. I found that out AGAIN today. I am continually amazed at how Christians, especially Christian women, would rather eat dirt than deal with the issue of abortion.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”

A placard with a dismembered aborted baby on it is an awful thing to see outside of an abortion clinic…but it speaks volumes. Abortion kills. Hiding behind a false sense of piety will not bring the life back into the aborted child. But if you call yourself a Christian, and don’t mind gun slinging advice to those that did not ask for it, it would behoove you to consider helping an innocent child from being mutilated inside the confines of his/her mother’s womb.

Persecution is like a drug…it makes me want to do more for the cause of Christ and for the unborn.

The Outside looking In – The Black Sheep Christian

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on January 31, 2011

I am a prolife activist and minister. I write and post many things regarding Life issues and post abortive women. My site and ministry, KeepLifeLegal.com, has many followers and I thank God first for it. I have counseled women and men, I have prayed for babies that might lose their lives to abortion outside of my local abortion provider. I have spoken in venues regarding Life. I study the Scriptures. I do a lot of research for my ministry. I AM BLESSED to have this ministry laid upon my heart by God.

So, what’s wrong? Someone that I love mightily posted a ‘funny’ abortion video. There is NOTHING funny about a child dying from being forcibly torn apart, one limb at a time.

I am one of very few Christians in my family, and I’m very out loud and active in my ministry…you know, the black sheep. The Scripture says:

“When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?” So they were offended at Him.

“But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house. Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”

I try to ride the wave even when the water is calm because that is what God wants. But there are times when a minister gets slapped in the face by their relatives and even their own children. One such day happened just the other day. And when it did, I went to the Scriptures…Mathew 13:54-58. Even Jesus Christ himself could not be heard by his own people. And when they spoke badly and spitefully, He moved on. He had work to do.

In the Epistles, Paul spoke of not wasting time on those that won’t hear. There isn’t time to argue, there isn’t time to debate. Christians that have a message by God to give have to give it NOW, in spite of the hurdles placed there by the devil, even using our own family to mean us harm.

So while my own broke my heart the other day, I have many more lives that are in the balance that need what God has given me to preach and teach. No time to argue, no time to debate.

Contributors to Planned Parenthood, update

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on January 18, 2011

Please understand, the lists that are compiled are NOT exhaustive. Also consider this: boycotting is good; however being a good witness in spite of it (writing letters, emails, phone calls) is a greater example of getting their attention (thanks to Frank R. for the nudge to update).

I’ve written on this subject many times and I keep coming to the same conclusion: In one way or another, corporations and companies give a lot of money to non-profits and Planned Parenthood is a non-profit! Taxpaying Americans tend to forget that. PP takes our tax money and pays for minor girls (without a parent’s knowledge) and women’s birth control and abortions all over the country, not just in big cities.

And be encouraged! AT&T stopped funding PP and recently so has Kohl’s, Mrs. Fields, Enterprise car rental, Forbes Publishing, ING financial, Toys R Us, Red Lion Hotels, Franchise Services, Rolex watch company, Kenneth Cole and Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare – all because people had the fortitude to say NO!

IT’S YOUR MONEY! PP contributors are:

Adobe Software, Agfa-Gavaert Films, Bank of America, China Products, CBS TV, BET, MTV, Chevron/Texaco, Cigna Health, Clif Bars, Color Me Mine, Dallas Cowboys,Disney & ABC TV, Dupont Products, E-Bay/PayPal/Skype,

FYI – Kentucky Abortion Bypass Law

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on January 17, 2011

Rev. K.H. says, “Essentially, an out-of-state minor girl does NOT have to give her real name while seeking abortion in Kentucky, some just give her initials. What happened to crossing the state line while seeking what is illegal in your own state? There was a day that when you crossed the state line, you were in worse trouble. Now it’s meaningless. So, the Great Commonwealth of Kentucky gets to foot the bill for an attorney, time in court, and cost of the abortion FOR A MINOR.”

Keep in mind that this opens up the reasoning that if there is federal law, it will probably (most likely!) supersede state law – the ACLU is always looking for cases that will shut down state law regarding abortion, gay marriage and other Liberal issues.

Kentucky abortion bypass law

Kentucky’s abortion bypass law allows a judge to waive the requirement for parental consent after hearing evidence on the “emotional development, maturity, intellect and understanding” on the minor, as well as “the nature, possible consequences, and alternatives to the abortion” and any other evidence that would show the abortion is in the minor’s best interests.

The law says if a minor is denied a bypass, she shall have the right of anonymous and expedited appeal to the Court of Appeals, which the court must give precedence over other pending matters.

* Your federal constitutional rights aren’t abandoned when you travel into another state, they come with you. (Bebe Anderson, senior counsel for the New York-based Center for Reproductive Rights)

* We feel regardless of residency all teenagers should be able to use the court system in Kentucky to access judicial bypass. (Derek Selznick, director of the Reproductive Freedom Project at the ACLU of Kentucky)

The state Court of Appeals decision was issued confidentially under a portion of the state’s bypass laws that guarantees minors a right to an “anonymous” appeal of adverse decisions. A state Supreme Court special rule also says that appeals are to be handled in a confidential manner.

* It was a difficult decision in part because they knew it would invite “forum shopping,” in which a girl who is refused by a judge to get an abortion in her home state need only cross state lines to try to obtain permission in Kentucky. (Chief Judge Jeff Taylor of Owensboro and Judge Michelle Keller of Covington)

Taylor noted that appellate courts elsewhere have ruled that non-resident minors have a right to such hearings in other states. For example, a federal appeals court in 1983 struck down Indiana’s law because it allowed only Hoosiers to petition the courts there, therefore violating the constitutional right to travel. (Chief Jeff Taylor of Owensboro)

* Kentucky judges have no “business making any decisions regarding a minor from another state seeking an abortion without parental consent.” She said the ruling was “particularly troubling” in light of the fact that Indiana has a nearly identical bypass procedure, and no reason was given why the girl did not use it instead of traveling to Kentucky. (Judge Joy Moore of Burlington) Perhaps Indiana said NO.

* This will pass the cost of an attorney and other fees of non-residents (Kentucky) to tax payers that are residents.

Kentucky’s abortion laws say in general that “it is in the interest of the people of the commonwealth that every precaution be taken to insure the protection of every viable unborn child being aborted.

The Moderate Prolifer, part 2

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on January 14, 2011

Does religion or religious affiliation have anything to do with abortion? Yes and No.

Understanding Post Abortive women is an on-the-job learning experience, unfortunately. A Post Abortive woman/counselor wrote, “She said she had supported the right of a woman to obtain an abortion, but had grown up in a Christian family and never thought she would have one herself.” I wish I could say I never heard that song before, but I have – in my own life. Over half of Post Abortive women considered themselves Christian at the time of their abortion, and many more were raised in a ‘Christian’ home (catholic, main-line protestant, evangelical, etc) but had negated or denied their faith:

“Women identifying themselves as Protestants obtain 37.4% of all abortions in the U.S.; Catholic women account for 31.3%, Jewish women account for 1.3%, and women with no religious affiliation obtain 23.7% of all abortions. 18% of all abortions are performed on women who identify themselves as “Born-again/Evangelical” – AbortionNo.org.

Women that abort identify themselves as having a form of religion either in their lives at the time or when they were growing up. Evidently, whatever their affiliation is, their church has not professed what the Bible teaches regarding killing or harming another person, whether that person is born or not yet born. There is a lull and even a complete lax in teachings regarding LIFE – all LIFE. Churches today consider teaching against abortion and homosexuality archaic and even blasphemous. Obviously these new church leaders are reading the newspapers and novels, not the Bible.

Today, what the moderate prolifer needs to remember is what Jesus said near the end of His own life, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”. The ‘neighbor’ is everyone, born and not yet born – that being said is it okay to abort anyone if you are to love your ‘neighbor’?

God is not a respecter of persons (Acts 10:34); He shows no partiality to anyone; all LIFE is valid and precious.

The Moderate Prolifer, part 1

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on January 13, 2011

Don’t just drink the milk, eat the Meat.

I was perusing other blogs today and came across a comment made to a prolifer: How can you be prolife if you eat meat? As stupid as I think that statement was, to some it is a valid question. Let me try to explain:

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’”

Part of the ‘abortion argument’ is clear in the above Scripture – we are made, created, in the image of God, not of anyone or anything else. God alone in His perfect Will created every human being to be born.

At any rate, God made man and woman in His own image and gave them (us) authority over all animals for food and covering, even after their disobedience:

“Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.”

God sacrificed animals to give covering with their skins to Adam and Eve. The argument is weak for a prolifer to question whether or not to eat the meat of an animal. What Scripture does say is that we cannot harm or murder each other, “Thou shalt not kill”, which is the other part of the ‘abortion argument’: We are made in His image and we are not to kill each other – or abort another for any reason.

Part of the conclusion is this: being a moderate prolifer is not helping anyone, only solidifying the need for ardent Prolifers that know LIFE is created by God and thus up to Him to take away, not anyone else. The moderate prolifer has to get from the milk of Scripture to the meat of it to understand the fullness of the Gospel regarding the complete message of LIFE.

Life without a Womb

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on January 3, 2011

While reading an article in the NY Post about embryonic stem cell therapy, I’m in a quandary of emotions. This story is about a blind child that doctors think will benefit from an injection of embryonic stem cells in his eyes. While that is blatantly WRONG because of the obvious implications of destroying life to maintain another, but has anyone thought of how this child will react when he is old enough to understand that a child or children DIED for his recovery? Will his parents keep him under a cloud lies of what life is – something to use if you need it and destroy if you don’t?

While people are reading this article and MFing President Bush for putting a stop to the carnage of embryonic stem cell research and therapy, their awareness of LIFE is only on the ones living outside the womb and is sadly misinformed.

Understand, these ‘trials’ are just that, trials – not proven. Unborn children are dying because of a huge ‘maybe’ and a hope that it MIGHT work; but even if it were true that embryonic stem cells cure, it’s still an atrocity, evil and most importantly, MURDER.

Again, just because the federal government approves it or passes laws for it, it does not mean it is correct or right. And like abortion, this is a brutal attack on LIFE of the unborn. Think of it way they do: the embryos they are abusing are ‘donated’ (really??) and without a womb so that must mean that it’s a fair ball. But like abortion, it is an attempt to rid the world of babies that aren’t important; this is clearly eugenic in nature.

LIFE isn’t without a price – to God and the biotechs that push embryonic stem cell research and therapy.

The Post Abortive Woman & a Providential God

Posted by Rev. K.H. Marple on December 27, 2010

This time of year brings up a bevy of emotions for everyone, good and bad. Women who have lost a child to abortion feel abandoned and dismal. We are pariah, we are the most inhuman, according to the world. Why are we here? Is there a reason for all of this? Does it have to hurt this bad? WHY ME?? No one is on this Earth by accident. We are not an abysmal science experiment. We are not a by-product of an accidental explosion. Humans have not evolved from soulless single-cell bits and pieces that randomly came together over billions of years:

‘I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.’ Psalm 139:14

God made us perfectly and with purpose. We were not set up to fail; we were created to know a loving God. That may be the only instinct that humans have. There is not one thing that will keep you from the Kingdom of God, except unbelief. Everyone that has or will be born has a specific task that God has chosen. We have been allowed to sin and sin and sin so that one day we would turn and seek God.

‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’ Romans 8:28

We have been put in the position to jeopardize and destroy what is His first – our unborn child. Because of circumstances that seem to be out of our control we destroy what is His. We are under a misunderstanding that God makes humans for amusement, not with a soul and purpose. Through our own difficult decisions and circumstances, we are where we are in our lives right now. We made those choices, He allowed them.

BUT: I was foreknown by Him, not by my parents or my family. Aborted children were known by God first: For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.’ Romans 8:29

Just as God has allowed us to sin and destroy, we humans allow others to dictate our lives with godlessness and void. Post Abortive women allowed their child to be destroyed by human hands. Just as the sun will come up every morning, so is the evidence that a child died at my request.

‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.’ Jeremiah 1:5

CHOICE destroyed what was God’s first…’NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’. Praise God for His forgiveness and taking care of my child until I can see him again.
