Designer parents, designer babies, designer problems

The latest news from the United Kingdom – scientists have created designer embryos containing DNA from a man and TWO women – to make ‘healthier’ babies without presumed genetic disorders. I wonder who would be the identifiable mother.

Here’s the problem with designer embryos…first, playing God is not a good idea. Second, quit playing God. Third – let’s say your designer embryo becomes a baby! Wonderful! You’ve removed the chance for most abnormalities that can come with having children! Do you actually think God is pleased with you mocking his most precious creation? ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.’*

That being said, what part of the gene pool is going to keep your child from becoming a drug addict…or a prostitute…or a high school dropout…on welfare…pregnant at 15…atheist or Christian?? ‘So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.’**

Or, where in the DNA can you splice an All American into the family? How much farther can this absolute madness go?

Embryos are created and destroyed as if it being nothing but medical waste to satisfy a persnickety parent.

Transhumanism is an intellectual and cultural movement supporting the use of science and technology to improve human mental and physical characteristics and capacities***. Essentially, transhumanism is part of the plan to make a ‘super race’. You know, kind of like Adolf Hitler.

“If nobody gets hurt and everybody has access,” says John Hughes (proclaimed transhumanist), “then genetic modification is perfectly fine, and restricting it is an assault on reproductive freedom. It’s in the same category as abortion. If you think women have the right to control their own bodies, then they should be able to make this choice,” he said. “There should be no law restricting the kind of kids people have, unless there’s gross evidence that they’re going to harm that kid, or harm society.” Read the entire aritcle here.

Perhaps they should get a puppy instead – maybe not. You know how the ASPCA and PETA are…they’re so particular.

This Day

Today is March 31, 2010. This day, in the United States alone, approximately 3,700 people lost their lives; 115,000 people died worldwide – 83% of all abortions are obtained in developing countries and 17% occur in developed countries, such as the U.S.

An estimated 43% of all women would have at least one abortion by the time she is 45 years old.

These numbers do NOT reflect the use of abortifacients; birth control pills, Norplant, IUD, or the morning after pill (Plan B).

One in five pregnancies end in abortion death.

Obama and his elite team of democrats signed away the lives of U.S. citizens & illegal immigrants with our just passed healthcare bill.

Math doesn’t lie. Stop the killing – changing the heart of one mother at a time - Keep LIFE Legal.

The Bad and the Ugly

Evil never rests.

…the many Haitian women who find themselves cut off from their usual sources for family planning services and supplies, including condoms, must be provided with free contraceptives. A failure to address these needs heightens the risk for unwanted pregnancy and botched abortion, HIV and other STIs, and high-risk, life-threatening pregnancies and childbirth. –Guttmacher Institute-

Over 150,000 people died in Haiti since the earthquake and if pro-choicers have their way more will die due to abortion and abortifacients provided by anti-abortion groups like Reproductive Health Response in Conflict Consortium.

I wish this was the first we’ve heard of pro-choicers finding ‘fertile’ ground in third world countries after major catastrophes. But handing out condoms to people that have no water or food or shelter?? Condoms? Are they too good to help find survivors instead of making them?

Save the planet with contraceptives?

Interesting article from over the pond

‘UN data suggests that meeting unmet need for family planning would reduce unintended births by 72 per cent, reducing projected world population in 2050 by half a billion to 8.64 million….. If these basic family planning needs were met, 34 gigatons (billion tonnes) of CO2 would be saved – equivalent to nearly 6 times the annual emissions of the US and almost 60 times the UK’s annual total.’  –Telegraph.co-

Thereby keeping the planet cleaner and more plentiful for those already here? But if we stop having children, who will be here to care about the environment?planet-earth-460x276

One reader commented:  “Enough already!!! Manmade globnal (?) climate change is a lie! It has not been and cannot be proven under the scientific process. Stop trying to scare us into radical political change that you know people will not willinglingly (?) accept. Anyone who calls themselves a scientist should be ashamed of themselves for pushing this tripe!”

I love the English. I thought I was the only one that used the word ‘tripe’. I should blame my English grandfather.

And another said (my favorite):  “Yes, you once proud Europeans; contraception is exactly what your Muslim invaders want you to exercise.” Beautiful.

Then another said:  “Gaddafi says Islam will conquer Europe by the power of the uterus. No family planning there then.”

Here in the U.S., pro-choicers have tried to push the environment card with abortion rights. Less people mean less stress on the planet? The UN estimates that 40% of all pregnancies worldwide are unintended. So ignorance IS a defense?

See the trends here; Muslims want us to not have children so they can take over the world and scientists that believe in science and not God is basing their findings on math. But the common denominator here is abortion; if 40% of the world’s pregnancies are unplanned, how do you think they want to go forward with contraception if they are already pregnant? It’s apparent that no one is listening about contraception, especially in third world countries where unplanned pregnancy is much more prevalent and contraceptives are not available. Instead, abortion would be the answer.

Save the world, but kill the children.

Life on the Late Planet Earth

An article caught my attention on Monday’s Yahoo Science…in part it says that our children are leaving a huge carbon ‘footprint’…carbonfootprint

“Under current conditions in the United States, for instance, each child ultimately adds about 9,441 metric tons of carbon dioxide to the carbon legacy of an average parent – about 5.7 times the lifetime emissions for which, on average, a person is responsible.”

And thus will breed unpredictables as well as too many people. It is assumed that one will procreate many times over. I’d love to know how ‘they’ come up with these numbers. Anyway, read on…

“Many people are unaware of the power of exponential population growth,” said a statistician of Oregon State University. “Future growth amplifies the consequences of people’s reproductive choices today, the same way that compound interest amplifies a bank balance.”

Okay…that sounds real sensible, doesn’t it? But all the variables are not accounted for, like accidental death, disease, war, etc. Population growth has been one of those topics that kind of hang in the air from time to time, this being one of those times.

China has taken the reins by forcing abortion for many years. Do you realize how big China is? Just over 3.6 million square miles, actually. It has nothing to do with population growth versus land or jobs. It has everything to do with their government keeping the population manageable now and in future years to maintain rule; too many people are harder to ‘rule’. This is where the United States is going under the administration of Barack Hussein Obama.

ObamaCare is here and at a critical time in history. We are in a kind of ‘Logan’s Run’ mentality; everyone and the earth has an expected end and the government will see to it whether it’s forced abortion or euthanasia.

America, WAKE UP! Everything down to your last coffee cup, your church and youngest child will be government owned, occupied and maintained.

Whose birthday is it anyway?

I’m sitting at my dining room table eating birthday cake when I remembered seeing an article about China. There is a reported 13 million abortions per year, many performed up to nine months of gestation. And I’m eating birthday cake. THIRTEEN MILLION PEOPLE WILL NEVER SEE A BIRTHDAY, and that’s just in China. Suddenly I feel sick.

From Salon.com:  ‘In a rare disclosure of family planning statistics — which are considered state secrets — the official China Daily newspaper reported Thursday that about 13 million surgical abortions are performed in Chinese hospitals and 10 million abortion pills are sold every year. The pills can induce an abortion very early in pregnancy, and are commonly referred to as the morning-after pill. The report said the real number of abortions is believed to be even higher since many are done outside of hospitals in unregistered rural clinics.’ Read the article here.

If that isn’t bad enough…abortioninchina

When Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in, one of the first things he did was take care of the Mexico City Policy, allowing our money to go overseas to pay for abortions all over the world. What most people don’t realize is that this has been happening well before January of 2009. That being said, I come across an article posted back in 2007 on NPR.org:

Liang Yage and his wife Wei Linrong had one child and believed that — like many other couples — they could pay a fine and keep their second baby. Wei was 7 months pregnant when 10 family planning officials visited her at home on April 16.

Liang describes how they told her that she would have to have an abortion, “You don’t have any more room for maneuver,” he says they told her. “If you don’t go [to the hospital], we’ll carry you.” The couple was then driven to Youjiang district maternity hospital in Baise city.

“I was scared,” Wei told NPR. “The hospital was full of women who’d been brought in forcibly. There wasn’t a single spare bed. The family planning people said forced abortions and forced sterilizations were both being carried out. We saw women being pulled in one by one.”

The couple was given a consent agreement to sign. When Liang refused, family planning officials signed it for him. He and his wife are devout Christians — he is a pastor — and they don’t agree with abortion.

She was given injections that put her in labour…after 16 hours HE was still born, his skin black from the saline solution and was thrown out with the trash.

The new healthcare reform bill being considered now is on the road to just exactly what happened to this woman in China…forced abortions and chosen ‘care’ for those worthy or viable enough for it. If you haven’t had the pleasure, I suggest you read the bill….abortion clinics will be accepted as ‘birthing centers’.

Obama’s approval rating has nosedived to less than 52%…Tick tock, tick tock.

This is NOT that.

There are some things that cannot be ignored…The Holy Bible IS part of this country’s birth, like it or not:

“The president is encouraged … to issue a proclamation calling upon citizens of all faiths to rediscover and apply the priceless, timeless message of the Holy Scripture which has profoundly influenced and shaped the United States and its great Democratic form of government, as well as its rich spiritual heritage, and which has unified, healed and strengthened its people for over 200 years…..The national year of the Bible resolution reminds us that our great nation was founded upon biblical principles and that religious freedom is guaranteed by the Bill of Rights,” Georgia Rep. Paul Broun said in a statement.

“Does that mean 2009 is not the year of the Bible?” mocked Rep. Barney Frank (D-Swine). “What is 2012 the year of? The Quran?”  Maybe…considering Iran has sent six warships to international waters. I really miss Ronald Reagan.

A memorable Memorial Day!Obama 2008 Memorial Day

The president participated at the 141st annual Memorial Day wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery’s Tomb of the Unknowns…..But the president decided to start what may become a new tradition by sending (didn’t bother to show up) a wreath to the African-American Civil War Memorial.

For one thing, Barack HUSSEIN Obama is half African, not a black American. Has any of his family ever marched for civil rights or fought in a war?  For another, where is the Presidential wreath for all of the fallen Native Americans? The Asian Americans? Anyone? Anyone?  I somehow get the feeling that a gay wreath is in the thought process…

Kind of like Dr. Evil…lots of money, way too much time on their hands and a god-complex.

A meeting that included some of the biggest names in the “billionaires club,” according to the London Times – Bill Gates, David Rockefeller, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett, George Soros and Michael Bloomberg met and were each given 15 minutes to present their favorite cause – and the winner is…population control?  Less people, more money to control and keep, wouldn’t you say?

Besides, Gates has experience with this - he said, “When I was growing up, my parents were always involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing (baby killing). And almost treating us like adults, talking about that.”  Aw…good times, good times. There’s nothing like sharing the deaths of un-named unborn children at the dinner table, eh?

Every one of the billionaires listed, and many more not named here, have given not only to Planned Parenthood but has also funded foreign ‘reproductive health’ programs including contraceptives and abortion.

Let’s review…

My computer had contracted yet another debilitating virus. Thankfully I am up and running AGAIN. I am so tired of retrieving lost data. I haven’t had this many attacks on my computer until I started this blog/ministry…..hmmm….? I might have been down, but I ain’t out.

Anyway.

I have not lost a loved one to an act of war. I do not have knowledge of what it is like to have a family member at war. But, I truly appreciate the valiant effort that our men and women give for our continued freedoms. I am thankful to all those that died for the United States of America. My family (on Dad’s side) has been in America since the 1700′s; they came here from Europe for freedoms - spiritual and political, that were only in the brand new United States of America and came here while the ink was still wet on the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence - to be in a land where one could prosper in the Lord Jesus Christ without persecution.

I hold these truths to be self-evident. God Bless you all. And thanks.

Faith-based…in what?

obama-faith-based-initiativ‘Conservative evangelical Christians who supported President Obama during the campaign are expressing emotions “ranging from disappointment to optimism” following his recent decisions on several “culture war issues,” such as abortion and embryonic stem cell research.’

Shame on ANY Conservative Evangelicals that would vote for a man that seeks to kill our unborn children! Do they realize that the blood of these children are on their hands, too?

Obama made it quite clear that he would rescind the Mexico City Policy, fund embryonic stem cell research AND sign the Freedom of Choice Act before he was elected. Any Christian that voted for Obama is clearly only voting for him because of the color of his skin and did not pay one bit of attention to any of the issues.

‘Joshua DuBois, director of the White House’s faith-based office, said that the advisory board has “begun to work with key leaders on tough issues in hopes of finding common ground,” adding that the work will continue. Bishop Charles Blake of the Church of God in Christ(a denomination that supports gay marriage) said that he “can only believe [Obama] is going to keep” his commitment to find common ground on abortion. “There might have been some political motivation that caused him to take the early positions he has taken,” Blake said, adding, “But I think he will be just as aggressive and consistent in pursuing policies that will make abortions less necessary.” ‘

Abortion is never necessary. There is no common ground regarding abortion – it is a sin and a crime against God. Any man or woman of God that supports abortion and embryonic stem cell research for ANY REASON needs to go back to the altar. Any man or woman of God that believes there is any common ground on the abortion issue is looking for political gain despite the loss of life. You would think that men and women of faith would remember the basics of Christianity and understand that God has not changed His mind on anything, ever.

How can anyone hate God so much that they would take the life of an innocent child?

Evangelical political wannabees drop the ball; RNC Steele says abortion okay

obama-pp

In an article from the Associated Press:  Conservative evangelical and Catholic leaders who went out on a political limb by aligning themselves with the Obama administration are expressing feelings ranging from disappointment to optimism in their reaction to the president’s decisions so far on culture war issues. Conservative evangelical and Catholic leaders who went out on a political limb by aligning themselves with the Obama administration are expressing feelings ranging from disappointment to optimism in their reaction to the president’s decisions so far on culture war issues.

This I find quite interesting since there is video all over the web with Obama speaking at Planned Parenthood claiming that the very first thing he will do in office is sign the Freedom of Choice Act, an act that has loop holes  bigger than the Rocky Mountains that disregard life at all costs. Did these evangelicals really think that they could change Obama’s mind? No, he has bigger things to do – he has to be the golden child for the Democratic party like they tried to do with JFK.

These evangelical leaders that ‘aligned’ themselves with Obama, said with their actions that politics were more important than standing in the place of an American citizen that will not be born as the result of abortion or research. Obama quickly signed away the lives of of children overseas with the UNFPA and then signed away the rights of embryos for research purposes. These evangelical leaders SOLD OUT.  The very elect among you…

And then there’s Michael Steele, the new chairman of the National Republican Party who said that women should have the right to decide whether to have an abortion. “I think that’s an individual choice,” he said.  He quickly recanted saying that abortion policy should be decided by the states. He then issued a statement to make clear that he is an opponent of abortion rights.

Social conservatives like Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, were particularly critical of Steele, “For Chairman Steele to even infer that taking a life is totally left up to the individual is not only a reversal of Republican policy and principle, but it’s a violation of the most basic of human rights — the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” Mr. Huckabee said.

Mr. Steele needs to get back to Republican Basics 101 – I personally wanted Ken Blackwell to get the position, anyway. Mr. Blackwell understands the basics of the Constitution and protecting life.

Inauguration Day

From Lifenews.com:

“Officials with the incoming administration of Barack Obama have confirmed that he will indeed overturn a pro-life policy of President Bush on his first day in office. Despite campaigning on the rhetoric of wanting to reduce abortions, Obama will make one of his first actions promoting them globally.”

This means that we as a country and tax payers will now have to pay for women all over the world, particularly in third-world countries, to get contraceptives and abortions. Read on:

The UNFPA says :

“But reproductive health problems remain the leading cause of ill health and death for women of childbearing age worldwide. Impoverished women, especially those living in developing countries, suffer disproportionately from unintended pregnancies, maternal death and disability, sexually transmitted infections including HIV, gender-based violence and other
problems related to their reproductive system and sexual behaviour. Because young people often face barriers in trying to get the information or care they need, adolescent reproductive health is another important focus of UNFPA programming.”

This is all about population control with whatever means necessary up to and including abortion. The new President will see to it that more lives are lost every day due to abortion of unsuspecting women not knowing fully what they are about to do and the ramifications of it. Who will be there to dry the tears of mothers and fathers that realized they have lost a child that they cannot get back? Not the President. Not the Democratic supporters. Not the United Nations.

Micah 7:7 says, “Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”
