Most people that write about prolife and abortion issues have have no personal knowledge about what they are writing or saying, only the passion of trying to save unborn children – which I do commend them for. However, just know that I have personally been inside of an abortion clinic, saw the conditions, dealt with the staff and suffered the procedure. What I have to purport is not arbitrary or flippant; it is the stone cold truth.
Salvation Help
Dear Lord Jesus, I realize that I am a sinner and have broken your laws. I understand that my sin has separated me from you. I am sorry and I ask you to forgive me. I accept the fact that your son Jesus Christ died for me, was resurrected, and is alive today and hears my prayers. I now open my heart’s door and invite Jesus in to become my Lord and my Saviour. I give Him control and ask that He would rule and reign in my heart so that His perfect will would be accomplished in my life.
Church, what is your stand for Life? What is your written a policy about Life? Does your church know that you have a Life policy?
The humanistic world is creeping into the Church trying to change how we think about Life, abortion, the gay agenda and world unity. Relativism is tweaking the ears of the highly intelligent church member leading them to believe that if there is ‘more’ [to learn] out there, it would substantiate their need for creative thinking instead of the simple truth of the Gospel. Scripture has no real value beyond subjective moments of ‘inspiration’.
“The announcement that the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, MA, has chosen a lesbian, pro-abortion president to lead the seminary has sent shock waves around the Anglican Communion. The appointment of Katherine Hancock Ragsdale highlights a week that also saw TEC bishop-elect Kevin Thew Forrester replace a reading from the New Testament with a reading from the Quran at St. Paul’s Marquette, Michigan.” David W. Virtue
Humanistic values now reflect a perverse sense of priorities in the Post Modern Church…or rather, the Emergent. Morality and spirituality does not count for the truth or “real” knowledge of those in the Post Modern Church – they’ve moved from when Life begins to if Life can be sustained to their satisfaction.
And succinctly, Roe made sense to the Post Modern Church. The dignity of Life was effectively dismissed and replaced with the humanistic need to save the world without God.
The Emergent has taken ‘love your neighbor as yourself’ to mean that to murder unborn Life is to be merciful.
Certainly the Emergent is not Evangelical any longer, if they ever were. They’ve become an entity that is more humanitarian than Christian. Has being relevant changed how the Church views Life?
Most denominations make exceptions for abortion in certain circumstances but fail to realize that no matter the reason or situation, a child will die.
The intended holocaust that Haman had for the Jews was thwarted by a woman that God specifically chose for His purpose – to save the children of Israel. Satan, through Haman, wanted to annihilate every Jew to keep the coming redeemer from ever being born. Did Haman actually know that was the reason for his hatred of the Jews? Probably not, but it did not matter. All Haman knew was hate.
Being Esther is understanding that LIFE is a fundamental truth, not a concept thought up by man. This truth is from the mouth and heart of God: “You shall not murder.” Exodus 20:13, NKJV
And how can you understand that Life is a fundamental truth if you don’t have a revelation of Life – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:6, NKJV
Or how we were created, ‘So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis 1:27, NKJV
Or why we were created, ‘Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11, KJV
God’s most elaborate creation was his most problematic creation – man. Satan, through man, is still trying to kill God’s creation, one unborn child at a time. And through the holocaust called Roe v. Wade, more than 55 million unborn children have been murdered…just in the United States alone. Worldwide, over 42 million unborn babies die per year.
Esther stopped Haman from killing the Jews; she saved millions of lives…Being Esther today can save many more millions, one unborn child at a time until Roe v Wade becomes a distant, horrific memory.
Esther was orphaned and adopted by her cousin Mordecai and became Queen…a Queen of the greatest empire on the earth at that time. That doesn’t come by accident. She was chosen by God to help her people and her opposition was great. She knew she could die but her purpose was greater than her fear of death.
“Go, gather all the Jews to be found in Susa, and hold a fast on my behalf, and do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my young women will also fast as you do. Then I will go to the king, though it is against the law, and if I perish, I perish.” Esther 4:16, ESV
Because of Queen Esther, the Jewish people were not exterminated. God showed her favor through King Ahasuerus and God used the Queen to fulfill the lineage to Jesus Christ. The story of Esther is one of grace and favor, but it doesn’t go without saying that she had a heart for God and a heart for her people.
There are no orphans of God, we are all accounted for – Jesus said, “But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.”
In the Prolife movement, I am Esther, you are Esther. We seek to free the children of Israel – all unborn children – every day through prayer, supplication and legislation.
“For how can I bear to see the calamity that is coming to my people? Or how can I bear to see the destruction of my kindred?” Esther 8:6, ESV
We are still trying to save the children of Israel, just like Esther, one unborn child at a time. Just as Haman in the Book of Esther sought to exterminate the Jews, today through the sin of abortion Haman still seeks our children, and he’s succeeding.
Queen Esther was victorious saving the children of Israel but we are still fighting the fight of abortion trying to save our unborn children. Women have usurped the authority of God to take command of their bodies:
“Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, ESV
We are not our own, our bodies are not our own. We are God’s…and so is every unborn child, without exception. Be an Esther, and save our children.
That was a statement from a man that has been a born-again Christian and has gone to the same church for the last 30 years. To my ears it sounded like “NOW we’re prolife even though we’ve been Christians forever.” How did the issues of Life and abortion not cross your mind until now, I wanted to ask.
Dumbfounded, nearly speechless I listened to the rest of his story. There are two morals to this story so I’ll try not to confuse as I go.
He said that he became Prolife because of his daughter. She was ill with Cystic Fibrosis and became pregnant. Of course the doctor told her that she could die if she carries the baby to term. She went to her parents and told them that she was going to have her baby anyway. But her parents were scared to death that they would lose their daughter.
Being in the middle of whose life was more important; they thought that abortion would be a way to keep their daughter from dying prematurely.
She had her baby and three years later she died. Her son is now being raised by his grandparents. Of course now they know what the right answer was but my issue is this: His church did NOT do its job in this situation. There would have never been a question on what to do if his church preached a LIFE message on a regular basis…And how sorry I am to report that most churches do not preach a LIFE message.
Denominational churches usually do not teach or preach on LIFE and abortion except some of the Catholic Church. I say some of them because I was once Catholic and I don’t recall hearing a LIFE message…but maybe that was just my church?
Non-denomination Christian churches are the only churches that will preach a LIFE message but sadly, hardly any do. Most churches find the subject of abortion to be too uncomfortable to preach about. But what most churches, large and small, do not know is that about 43% of ALL women 45 years old and under are Post Abortive. These women and MEN are sitting in their church and no one is ministering to them or preaching about LIFE and forgiveness.
Most of these non-denominational and denominational churches are way too busy being relevant with the world instead of what Christians are called to do, “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” What is more ‘unclean’ that the slaughter of unborn children?
Here’s those morals I promised…
Moral #1: A Born-Again Christian had to wonder if abortion was the answer. It should have never been a question in the first place.
Moral #2: Most churches are not preaching and teaching a LIFE message.
It is my goal and purpose to take the message of LIFE to any church that will let me. Church, you need to hear the Message of LIFE.
Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Sometimes I have to remember that just because I keep up with Prolife issues doesn’t mean that everyone else does. Certainly there are many ‘converts’, like I was once, that really don’t understand what abortion is or what it does. They see lots of media bias toward the acceptability of abortion and how Prolifers are typically considered bomb-carrying terrorists.
On my blog, someone put in the search box, “do abortions always kill the baby?”
I sat back and thought about how ignorant we all can be of sometimes the most obvious things. Yes, abortion is MEANT to kill the baby.
But does the baby always die? The INTENT of abortion is to always kill the baby. But there are times when a baby is accidentally born alive and then left to die in hospital closets, just ask Jill Stanek. There were times when babies survived a saline abortion, just ask Melissa Ohden.
Through tragic circumstances like rape, a baby has to die? How many more Down Syndrome babies have to die because they aren’t perfect enough to their parents?
Abortion has always been a way out, not to save a woman’s life.
4000 babies die every day in the United States that we know of.
Having a revelation of LIFE is understanding the fundamental right to life of every human being, and that right is slowly being taken away from us. No one wants to fight for it like our ancestors did over 235 years ago; people fought and died for what we are letting go of in the present time. Civil rights and liberties in the United States is how we became a nation. Being oppressed and persecuted took us to a new world where we could express ourselves, be equal and have the opportunities to have opinions, much less utter them.
The act of abortion is a tool that murders an unborn child, no matter how much lipstick you put on it. It’s never the right thing to do or the humane thing to do. Abortion is a choice because the American people let the government into their bedrooms in 1973, citing a right to privacy? Their right to privacy became legal murder…talk about oxymoronic. Abortion, no matter how pretty you try to package it, is wrong.
Have you gotten a revelation of Life?
One of the biggest problems is that the Church is nearly not involved at all. The Church has clearly chosen not to do anything saying that abortion is a political issue. Murder is political? Somewhat, since Roe v. Wade; murder became political and legal in 1973. Pastors of large churches and denominations are scared of losing their big salaries if they take a stance on something as simple as the sixth commandment, “Thou shall not kill”.
Pastor, if that is your opinion, we need to talk.
The right to Life is slowly slipping away, one unborn child at a time. It’s time to save our children and take our country back from the tyrannical and the violent and give it back to God – HE is the author and finisher of all things, not our slippery government:
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2, KJV
What can I say? The rally was incredible and awe-inspiring. We heard from people on the front-lines of the fight for LIFE; current Ohio state representatives, state senators…and that’s just the beginning!
The three of us that testified for the Post Abortive Woman
Hearing from Dr. Jack Willke and hearing his recording – on a cassette tape – of a beating heart at just 6 weeks gestation. Just hearing that beautiful sound brought fresh tears to my eyes. Anyone that has had a child has heard that sound of LIFE. We take for granted that our heart, being an involuntary muscle – a muscle that beats 72 times per minute – does its job as long as we take care of it.
The heart is at the center of the entire circulatory system. That system consists of a network of blood vessels, such as arteries, veins, and capillaries. These blood vessels carry blood to and from all areas of the body. The heart works 24/7, even on holidays.
After only 21 days, the human heart begins to beat in an unborn child….just 21 days. How can anyone kill a person that has a beating heart and not be a murderer only because that person is not yet born?
Great big Thanks go to Janet Porter of Faith2Action, Linda Theis & Rachelle Heidlebaugh of the Womens Resource Center of Hancock County, Bobbi Radeck & Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America, Lori Viars of Ohio Board of Elections, Julie Busby of Ohio Right to Life, Phil Burress of Citizens for Community Values, Jill Stanek, Troy Newman of Operation Rescue…I know I’ve missed many but just know that what you all do for LIFE inspires me and millions! God Bless you all and THANK YOU!!!

My Testimony for the Heartbeat Bill on March 16, 2011
Do you know anyone that has been stricken with Alzheimer’s? I have. It’ll break your heart.
Pat Robertson has an opinion that someone with Alzheimer’s is already dead and that a spouse can go ahead and divorce their afflicted loved one and move on with their life. He perceives that death is not a physical thing, but a mental one as well. If that is the case Mr. Robertson, who else is dead to you? Those with Down Syndrome? Maybe the unborn? Those in comas?
My grandpa Hadley married a lady about a year before I was born. She had three children, two girls and a boy. As a kid I loved visiting them. My [step] grandma Lou made the best biscuits EVER. She even made fried baloney taste like heaven. They lived in a tiny town in southern Missouri only known to those that are from there. I remember one of their houses had an outhouse with a water pump outside.
After a while they bought a tiny little house in Houston, Missouri that a later owner would one day paint pink. When we would visit, somehow my grandparents would find the room for the five of us to spend the night. I think their Plymouth Fury was bigger than that house! Grandma Lou had a Hoosier cabinet that she would crank out flour to make her famous biscuits and let us eat hard candy in the dish by the couch. It was worth the drive from St. Louis.
By the time I was in my twenty’s, I was busy being a wife and mom and making enough of a paycheck to survive. I hadn’t visited my grandparents in many years and I hated that. But one day we were able to afford to make the drive down to my uncle’s farm to see everyone and to my surprise, my grandparents were in a nursing home. My grandma Lou had Alzheimer’s. My grandfather loved my grandma Lou so much that he decided to bunk with her at the nursing home.
I had never been to a nursing home before. I had my young son with me and all the ladies wanted to pinch his cheeks. We made our way to my grandparent’s room and to this day I still tear up when I think about it…Grandma Lou was lying in bed softly babbling something only she could understand. My grandpa would lovingly put his hand on her arm and talk with her as if she was speaking perfect English. I was stunned by the whole scene. I had no idea how sick she was and I had no idea how much he loved her to stay by her side as if she was perfectly well.
Ironically, Grandpa Hadley died from an aneurism before she passed. He lovingly took care of his wife until it was his time to go. He never left her side. Glory to God!
So Mr. Robertson, you are wrong. A man or woman with Alzheimer’s is just as alive as they were they day they conceived.
As we walk the halls of our lives and ministries, meandering without seeing, we think we have no effect on those our ministries focus on. Those of us in Ministry want instant results, just like anyone else. We use our eyes way too often and forget to open our bibles and hearts to an immutable God that will guide us to those that need LIFE saving Salvation and encouragement.
Truth is what everyone seeks; truth about whom we are, truth about where we’re going, truth about LIFE. Is there an end to the whirlwind? Is there peace? Is there an absolute TRUTH?
In everyone’s day-to-day LIFE, we tend to focus on what is negative because it’s what we SEE with our eyes. We ‘see’ what is set before us with our eyes only – it’s our perception and discernment that needs to be honed:
“I am the way, the truth, and the LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:6-7
Without perception, how could we come to know Him? And without discernment, how can we have truth in Him?
In Prolife ministry like KeepLifeLegal, we know that to save unborn babies, we have to try to change the heart of the mother and the abortionist to accept that LIFE is from God, not by accident. In evangelistic ministry, much is the same; to be saved you have to change your heart and accept Jesus Christ as Savior.
Pastors and Ministers: Today you may help change or save someone else’s LIFE, or maybe they’ll surprise you and change yours.
A friend of mine and my husband’s, after much prayer, received a word from the Lord and blessed us with His message:
“I believe the Lord told me that the main reason for our fiscal problem is abortion. The millions of babies that have been murdered have made Social Security unsustainable and also the lack of all these people buying and selling has greatly hindered growth.”
The truth of abortion can’t get any plainer than that.
The United States of America is in its financial woes not just because of abysmal management – the reality is that there is AT LEAST 55+ million men and women that cannot contribute and help sustain this great nation because they were murdered in the womb. And, because they were murdered, their eventual children were never born.
Jerry Tuma of Cornerstone Financial Services spoke on behalf of the Heartbeat Bill last March. Read his report here and see the video here. My husband and I had the privilege of hearing what he had to say about such sustainability without 55+ million people. Mr. Tuma pointed out that when Social Security was created, there were 33 workers per 1 retiree; there are only 3 workers per 1 retiree…where have all the workers gone? Mr. Tuma stated:
“Now we are faced with the consequences of our choices as a reduced population first produces reduced consumer spending trends and with that reduced economic prosperity. Secondly, reduced populations leave us with far fewer taxpayers available to fill growing problems with Social Security and Medicare, which will soon mushroom out of control.”
Math doesn’t lie. Abortion has crippled our country to the point that it may not recover.
