#BREAKINGNEWS: #Prolife Movement Mourns the Loss of Dr. John Willke

FROM RIGHT TO LIFE OF GREATER CINCINNATI: Sad News Today: Pro-Life Movement Mourns Loss of Legendary Leader Dr. John Willke.

We were personally blessed by Dr. Willke during Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill committee meetings; I had the distinct honor to hear Dr. Willke testify for the unborn. Thank you, Dr. Willke, we are all blessed to know you. I am so pleased that the first Saints you will meet in Heaven are the lives you have saved from abortion. See Dr. Willke’s testimony in the video below.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, February 21, 2015 (Cincinnati, OH): The pro-life movement worldwide mourns the loss of Dr. John Willke, who slipped quietly from this earth Friday evening, February 20, 2015, just two months short of his 90th birthday. His beloved wife, Barbara, preceded him in death April 2013—a soul mate he missed deeply.

“Dr. Willke was the leading statesman addressing the second civil rights struggle of our nation,” said Paula Westwood, Executive Director, Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati. “He met with presidents and popes and crossed the globe, but his passion was always to ensure the right to life for helpless unborn children and other vulnerable people.”

Dr. Willke was a physician, author, lecturer, TV and radio personality, and expert in human sexuality. Until recently, he served as president of the national Life Issues Institute, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served for ten years as president of the U.S. National Right to Life Committee, and helped found the International Right to Life Federation.

His daily 5-minute radio program was carried on almost 400 radio stations for 18 years. His one-minute comments, Life Jewels, were broadcast in English and Spanish on over 1,000 stations reaching the U.S., Australia, South Africa, and Brazil.

Dr. and Mrs. Willke co-authored Abortion, Questions and Answers: Why Can’t We Love Them Both; Handbook on Abortion; Abortion and Slavery, History Repeats; Assisted Suicide & Euthanasia, Past & Present; plus six other books on human sexuality, videos, brochures, and more. Their works have been translated in over 30 languages worldwide.

Just last month, Dr. and Mrs. Willke’s autobiography Abortion and the Pro-Life Movement: An Inside View was released, chronicling the life of this legendary couple. They were devoted to their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and in all things strengthened by their strong Catholic faith.

Amidst these many efforts, Dr. and Mrs. Willke also founded Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati in the early 1970s and shared chairmanship for several years. They also founded the state organization, Ohio Right to Life, in Cincinnati at that time, then moved it to Columbus a few years later.

“Dr. Willke was a true giant in the pro-life movement, yet always warm, always humble, a mentor and a friend,” said Jack Hart, President, Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati. “We can never replace him. We can only do our best to carry on his legacy, and redouble our efforts to create the culture of life that he worked so hard and so well to bring about.”

ANSWER: Cronyism, Elitism, Division – QUESTION: How to get a #prolife law passed in #Ohio.

The Heartbeat Bill has been introduced again at the Ohio Statehouse for the THIRD time…why so many times? Because legislators who PROMISED to get this bill through has been shaken down by Ohio Right to Life….for the THIRD time.

The Coward-in-Chief Senate President Keith Faber said today“What you’re doing is saying you’re risking throwing out all of the things we’ve done to save babies in exchange for having a political argument.” Sounds awfully prideful? Faber had promised to back this Bill and turned; he ultimately lied to every person who voted for him. KEEPLIFELEGAL

Faber also accused Rep. Matt Lynch of wanting to kill babies because he introduced the Bill in lameduck: “I don’t know why Rep. Lynch would want to kill babies,” he said. “The heartbeat bill could lead to striking down laws that were passed and upheld. Rep. Lynch would have to answer that question himself. Certainly we think the heartbeat bill moves the cause of anti-abortion back.”

Wouldn’t you think that Ohio Right to Life would be square behind a bill that would save so many babies? Then, what’s their problem? Easily, if there isn’t so much to do  then they stand not to get the donations they need to stay ‘alive'; their political pull and necessary legislators would all go away. ORTL bellows about the constitutionality of the Heartbeat Bill but it’s ORTL who says they want to overturn Roe which seems awfully contradictory. ORTL makes absolutely no sense and has since caused great division, cronyism and elitism in the prolife community in Ohio. ORTL has proven they are not prolife.

Three tubs of aborted babies, now medical ‘waste’.

And in the meantime,  Ohio Right to Life mafia has been picking off our so-called prolife legislators to not back a bill that would save 96% of unborn babies but is behind a 20 week ban that was recently introduced. Do the math: The last report for abortions in Ohio states that 0.7% abortions occurred at 20+ weeks which breaks down to 173 babies died from three to four day late-term abortion procedures in 2013. However, 23,036 babies were aborted before 20+ weeks. SO, a 20 week ban would have saved 173 babies; the Heartbeat Bill would have saved about 22,280 which is SIXTY ONE BABIES PER DAY.

Save 173 or 22,280? “The 20-weeks bill is among the priorities this session for Ohio Right to Life…”. There you go. Ohio Right to Life would rather save 173 babies rather than nearly all of them. That is irresponsible and damnable.

Linda Porter of Faith2ActionTo answer the questions about the Bill, Janet Porter released this today:

“While claiming to be pro-life, Ohio Senate President Keith Faber is using his powerful position to speak out against the most protective pro-life bill in the Ohio House of Representatives. The Heartbeat Bill, H.B. 69, was re-introduced this week in the Ohio House with 50 co-sponsors–enough to pass the bill. Once law, the Heartbeat Bill will protect unborn children whose heartbeats can be heard.

“Senate President Keith Faber claims that passing a bill to protect children could somehow hurt the effort to protect children—it’s absurd.” stated Janet (Folger) Porter, President of Faith2Action, who initiated the Heartbeat Bill.

“What has happened to Senator Faber?” asked Lori Viars of Warren County Right to Life. “Why does he favor the least protection for unborn children when he could be fighting for the most protection? I miss the old Keith Faber—the pro-life conservative that we knew and loved.”

“While a heartbeat is not the beginning of life, it is a universally-accepted indicator of life,” said Porter. “Why would Senator Faber and Republicans in the Senate ignore this indicator of life when it comes to our most vulnerable children?”

“Faber’s claims about the Heartbeat Bill harming other pro-life laws is countered by language in the bill itself,” said Porter. “The Heartbeat Bill expressly states (Section 2919.19, lines 373-374) that it will NOT affect other pro-life laws currently in place.”

“Call Senator Faber at 614-466-7584 and ask him to be consistent: use the same indicator of life for babies that we use for everyone else,” added Porter.

If you have voted for a prolife legislator that is not backing every bit of prolife legislation that crosses their desks, call them, email them. YOU have a right to know why they are NOT doing their job and demand they do what they were elected for.

Preterm Birth, Infant Mortality & Abortion Link

In Ohio, there has been legislation considered regarding a nearly 8% infant morality rate, the worst in the District of Columbia [11.5%] and Mississippi [10%]; the national rate is 6.6%. Considering the higher concentration of Black Americans in DC and Mississippi, one has to wonder if there isn’t another story here. See the graphic here [Kaiser Foundation].

What does abortion have to do with it?

But this isn’t the only story. Preterm births are on the rise from a conveniently forgotten demographic: Post abortive women. From American Association of Prolife Obstetricians and Gynecologists [AAPOG], Prolife OB/GYNS:

“Induced abortion has a significant association with subsequent premature birth, and particularly “very” premature birth (i.e, before 32 weeks gestation). “Very” premature birth has a significant association with cerebral palsy and other developmental difficulties. Preemies under 32 weeks have a Cerebral Palsy rates 55 times higher that the rates for a term baby.” Read the rest here.

“Understanding and addressing the risk factors for the preterm birth ‘epidemic’ is crucial because low birth weight (LBW) and preterm birth (PTB) are the most important risk factors for infant mortality or later disabilities, as well as for lower cognitive abilities and greater behavioral problems. In addition to the huge human cost, the economic cost required to properly care for these premature babies is a severe challenge to medical care system.”

The sad truth is that BORN babies are dying and the government sees this as an attempt to expand Medicaid/Obamacare. If women were not aborting their children, then perhaps their ‘wanted’ children would have a better chance at survival.

In Ohio, our so-called ‘prolife’ governor wants to expand Medicaid to deal with preterm/mortality of babies but will not help pass legislation that would have thwarted 95% of abortion deaths THUS making the preterm/mortality rate FALL.

We don’t have an neglect problem, we don’t have an underserved problem…we have an abortion problem. And it’s killing the unborn and born.

BREAKING: Gov. Kasich Throws the Unborn Under the Bus…AGAIN.

It’s one thing being denied the ability to do our job, but it’s quite another to have the newly re-elected governor WHO CALLS HIMSELF PROLIFE to throw the unborn under the bus AGAIN. Read the story HERE.

Three tubs of aborted baby remains.
Three tubs of aborted baby remains.

Now, I’m one for getting the best guy or gal in office that calls themselves prolife, after all NO ONE is perfect for the job. And that will upset the personhood people, but the truth is that not one person will govern the people with a firm truly prolife hand; agenda always gets in the way.

Gov. Kasich presented Ohio with someone who would manage the Ohio Department of Health, a man who WAS considered prolife. We believed him – NARAL and Planned Parenthood FOUGHT Richard Hodges appointment. We contacted Mr. Hodges through emails and phone calls to remind him that the LAW states that EVERY abortion facility, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, has to comply with having a transfer agreement to a private hospital. This law was signed by the governor himself, then how did this happen?

Governor John Kasich has aspirations to run for president which why he allowed this to happen. It has been noticed that Kasich will  also allow same-sex marriage to appease the opposite sects of people who did not originally vote for him. The last true conservative that ran and became President was Ronald Reagan…and those days ore OVER. Rather than do the right thing, what Kasich promised, he will bend and cave for his own personal agenda that will – in his own mind – lead him to the White House.

It is the opinion of KeepLifeLegal that IF the Heartbeat Bill has the gas to get past the Ohio Senate that Kasich will not sign it into law. However, that does remain to be seen…but just how far fetched is that? Certainly we haven’t heard a word from Kasich commending Hodges decision to keep the abortion giant Planned Parenthood in business in Cincinnati.

Kasich signed the law restricting abortion facilities from operating if they cannot get actual transfer agreements – the Dayton facility that Martin Haskell owns will probably sue the State of Ohio since he had to close his Sharonville facility due TO the law. Kasich and Hodges both know that Planned Parenthood has the money to fight this; now the precedent has been reset, again.

Currently, at least 65 unborn Ohioans die every day from abortion death because good legislation is denied.

BREAKING: Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill Passes Committee

Imagine saving the lives of at least 65 unborn children per day! That’s about a school bus load of children saved from abortion EVERY DAY!

But not everyone feels that way…the opposition believes in a woman’s right to choose but not a  baby’s right to life. I really don’t know how a person gets to that place where you are so superior to believe it is your right to MURDER an innocent baby. Read on:

  • HUH??? “Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. A few folks have pointed out that our webform to email representatives about the “heartbeat” bill requires selection of a gendered title. While it’s not a feature of our webform we like, we recognize it’s a bit of a slap in the face on a special day of remembrance such as today. Emailing members of Congress requires selecting a title, so the tool forces the choice as well. Please accept our apology and consider two choices because your voice is valued. Option A: use the form and select from the offered titles. Option B, which we really, REALLY prefer: Call your representative on the phone. Tell them your view on the ‘heartbeat’ abortion ban. Thanks for your continued support.”
  • OH WOW: “Do they not realize that a miscarriage is really an abortion?”
  • BUT BABIES FEAR THE REAPER? “Why do the males fear the female so much?”
  • SO ARE PROABORTS: “What a terrifying reality.”
  • REALLY…THEY THINK WOMEN ARE THIS STUPID? “Women will attempt to perform self mutilation or worse if abortion access is denied.”
  • NOPE, BUT ABORTIONISTS WILL: “Ohio House Health Committee passed the Heartless Abortion Ban by an 11-6 party line vote. If this becomes law, it will no doubt result in talented physicians leaving Ohio to practice in other states.”
  • “Rep C Hagan asks Gary Daniels of @acluohio whether he has children. She said she wants to know when they became significant to him?”
  • NO FLIES ON YOU: “Unsafe abortions can kill!” note: ALL ABORTIONS KILL.
  • HUH???? “I have grave concerns that if the Heartbeat Bill were to be passed, it would jeopardize some of the good, pro-life work that we’ve done in the General Assembly,” said Senate President Keith Faber.
  • NO PUN INTENDED? “More committee manipulation by the Repubs to move ill-conceived bills to the floor.”

All comments are from the Columbus Dispatch and Facebook [NARAL, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio].

Anyway…..they should explore the money trail:

Abortion will continue to kill generations of people AND the contributions they could have made. And we wonder why our economy is so upside down? You can thank your local abortionist.

I  have personally testified for this bill since 2011. I thank God for people like Janet Porter who has led the charge FOR the unborn and I will continue to support her.

PASS THE HEARTBEAT BILL and every other shred of prolife legislation.

The Ghosts of Sidewalk Ministry

Divisiveness is what kills a great outreach. It’s the best excuse that Pastors use to stay away from an uncomfortable ministry at the abortion facilities – AND laziness. So, this prompted me to tell the short story of how this Evangelical Christian was moved to get into Prolife Ministry by Catholics and others.

Many so-called prolife ministries want to be so divisive that they step over the dead aborted babies to get to the prolifer that’s ‘doing it wrong’. These people use a Bible with pages missing to further their agenda. This has been ongoing, nothing new…but it definitely needs to stop, particularly when violence erupts from this cult. Read that here.

How did you get into prolife ministry? For me, I had three life changing moments:

  1. I saw a man, alone, carrying a huge crucifix pacing in front of what looked like an office building. I realized it was an abortion facility. I had to face my own abortion, I had to face God and repent, and I finally met that faithful witness years later. [Thanks to Richard Mahoney]
  2. I went to my first 40 Days for Life rally. Bryan Kemper of Stand True [youth director of Priests for Life] was the speaker, I was scared to death to face this publicly, I was asked to join the 40 Days leadership team a year later. [Thanks to the 40 Days team]
  3. I was asked to testify for the Heartbeat Bill. I told my post abortive testimony in both committees at the Ohio Statehouse for the Heartbeat Bill. My story was now part of public record for everyone to hear, no going back. Testifying for this bill catapulted me into full time prolife ministry. [Thanks to Janet Porter and my husband]

In these three points there was no mention of a church helping me or the prolife movement in any way. We received some well wishes and monetary support, but no one showed up on the sidewalk more than once. This is when we realized that this prolife ministry is a remnant within the remnant and on our own.

Too many people in the evangelical world rests on their blessed assurance saying that prolife ministry is a ‘catholic thing’, too political and/or controversial. On this side of the pulpit, we call it LAZY and selective.

KEEPLIFELEGALProlife ministry is a GOSPEL thing, it is bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the street and the sidewalk. Pastors need to come out from behind the pulpit and do the work that Jesus did: Taking the message of hope to the lost, the hopeless, and the afflicted TO the street and TO the sidewalk. Evangelicals are called judgmental by many, but it’s the evangelical Pastors who have already judged prolife ministry as an offense to their church. ABORTION IS AN OFFENSE! And Pastors that do nothing offends ME and has deemed unborn life to be not as important as themselves or their coffers.

In the area in which we live and minister, over 800K people and HUNDREDS of churches surround ONE ABORTION FACILITY and still hardly anyone comes while some claim to be prolife.

A great example: a woman at the Heartbeat Bill Prayer Rally said she is part of a 8000 member mega church in the Columbus area and said to me that they don’t do anything prolife outside of the church property lines, and for that she feels they are lacking. She’s right. And I am the first person that will tell you I appreciate outreaches that supply clothes, formula and diapers…but they hide behind a huge pulpit rather than stepping out to the two abortion facilities within their city limits to spread the GOSPEL which saves LIVES

I am so thankful that God directed me to this ministry which has TOTALLY offended my family – but the Bible says that in these last days this would happen because:

“v48 For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more……v51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. v52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.v 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Luke 12:48, 12:51-53

Abortion and prolife ministry is an offense to the Church rather than a ministry opportunity to changes lives.

My dear prolife friends and ministers who continue to be in this fight for LIFE, be ENCOURAGED! We are few in number but great in the eyes of God!

“v19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; v20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. v21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

See you on the sidewalk ~ rev katherine

Being Esther – There are no orphans of God.

Esther was orphaned and adopted by her cousin Mordecai and eventually – through the grace of God – became Queen, a Queen of the greatest empire on Earth at that time. That does not come by accident. She was chosen by God to help her people, and her opposition was great. She knew she could lose her own life but her purpose was greater than her fear of death.

“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” Esther 4:16

Because of Queen Esther, the Jewish people were not exterminated. God showed Esther FAVOR through King Ahasuerus and God used the Queen to fulfill the lineage of Jesus Christ. The history of Esther is one of grace and favor, but it does not go without saying that she had a heart for God and a heart for her people.

Watch For Children

There are no orphans of God, we are all accounted for. Jesus said, “But even the hairs of your head are all numbered,” Luke 12:7.

In Prolife Ministry I am Esther – you are Esther. We seek to free the children of Israel – all unborn children – though prayer, supplication and legislation.

“For how can I endure to see the evil that will come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my countrymen?” Esther 8:6

We are still trying to save the children of Israel, just like Esther, one unborn child at a time. And just like Haman in the Book of Esther sought to exterminate the Jews, today through the sin of abortion Haman still seeks our children, and is succeeding.

Queen Esther was victorious saving the children of Israel but we are still fighting the fight of abortion trying to save our unborn children today. Women have usurped the authority of God to take command of their bodies:

“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1Corinthians 6:19-20

We are not our own, our bodies are not our own. We are God’s…and so is every unborn child, without exception.

Be Esther and save our children.

The Politician’s Questionable Prolife Definition of….prolife.

During the 2012 elections, Republicans questioned why abortion was not prevalent and Democrats wondered why it was so prevalent. Seem a bit bipolar? You’re right, it is – and trying to sort this out for moderates to understand was exhausting. There is this seemingly thin line that some career politicians stand on to appeal to prospective voters, but core issues like abortion have been blurred to get there. It’s as if they become somewhat androgynous so that no one is offended.

The most popular candidates this past election (that we know of) that actually took a stand was Todd Akin of Missouri and Richard Mourdock of Indiana. Their principled prolife views were not accepted by and large, leaving moderates wondering if they were ever prolife OR liberals thinking they’ve outed them in the public square. As mixed up as that sounds, it is evident that more often than not we will never be blessed with a total prolife candidate without the rape/incest exception. How do we take our lumps after the elections? One at a time. Here is one such lump: Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus.

Recently, Ohio Senate President Tom Niehaus had the nerve to say ‘We have been the most pro-life legislature in my memory’ not only struck down a vote on the Heartbeat Bill AGAIN, but effectively discounted its potential to go before the Supreme Court to challenge Roe v. Wade. Niehaus said he was ‘threatened’ and ‘bullied’ to get a vote on the bill….how does a so-called prolife Senate President NOT vote on the most lifesaving piece of legislation in his career? However, I am happy to see that the Senate President Pro Tempore Keith Faber is a strong supporter of the Heartbeat Bill. Will it get the vote it deserves next year? I pray so.

Both Niehaus and Senator Peggy Lehner said that the Heartbeat Bill could have the ‘potential to undermine all of the good work the right-to-life community has done’ – I’m not understanding why that should be a factor since this bill could (could, not would) nullify other passed legislation since this one will set the precedent of NO ABORTIONS when the heartbeat is detected. “It’s not personal, Sonny. It’s strictly business,” Michael Corleone would say….sounding strikingly familiar from Mr. Niehaus to the Heartbeat Bill’s supporters. It’s always personal…always.

It is also documented that Mr. Niehaus accepted the Komen Columbus Public Service Award even though Komen supports Planned Parenthood….I would not call that ‘prolife’ and in fact would call that working both sides of the political fence. Do the math – other recipients of Komen’s award was Rep. Joyce Beatty (D) and Former Governor Ted Strickland (D) who campaigned with and for Obama.

Are there fundamental Prolifers in politics today? I believe that there is on the State level. Have we completely understood that the only way we can eradicate abortion is getting through ‘the system’? Can politicians fundamentally support prolife and still vote for the ‘common good’ loophole of rape/incest exceptions to quiet the moderates and some liberals to get a foothold? But until then, abortion continues to kill off future voters and taxpayers and we wonder why the economy is freaked out. Go figure. While I believe in total Personhood for our unborn children, I am also mature enough to understand that we have to pick at Roe until we can get in front of the Supreme Court.

The fight is never over or quiet. Even the local NARAL reps have said, “We don’t believe for a second that this threat is over – perhaps delayed, but not over.”

I couldn’t agree more.

OHIO SENATE HALTS HEARTBEAT BILL – Official Statement from KeepLifeLegal

November 28, 2012  “The chamber doesn’t plan to vote on the so-called “heartbeat bill” before the end of the legislative session next month, Republican Senate President Tom Niehaus said, citing concerns the resulting law might have been found to be unconstitutional,” AP reported; also “Senate President Tom Niehaus said his chamber will not act this year on bills that would ban abortions in Ohio,” said another.

The real prolifers of Ohio wonder how this could have actually happened after hearing from the stalwarts of the prolife community; how incredible everyone worked for the Heartbeat Bill – hours of testimony, rallies and lobbying. Janet Porter of Faith2Action and her supporters worked harder than anyone I’ve ever seen for our unborn. God bless them all for their tenacity and love.

As most of my readers know, I testified for Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill in both the House and Senate committees regarding Post-Abortive women and men. When I first heard about this bill and that Ohio Right to Life was NOT backing it, I went to ORTL website and submitted a note (3/2/11) to then Executive Director Mike Gonidakis:

“I cannot tell you how disappointed and shocked I am in your decision not to back the Heartbeat Bill (HB125). This is absolutely irresponsible. Dr. Bernard Nathanson stopped performing abortions and became a prolife leader because he saw an ultrasound of the unborn child. If you cannot support HB125, then how can you stand for any ultrasound laws in the state of Ohio?”

Mr. Gonidakis responded saying that I was misinformed (?) and he was more concerned about Personhood to eliminate all abortions. Not only did ORTL not back the Heartbeat Bill but they were also NOT going to back the Personhood initiative that was started soon after. Mr. Gonidakis showed his cards – this was personal, not business; you also need to know that other backers of the Heartbeat Bill were also once involved on the board and in administrative offices of ORTL which did not set well with Mr. Gonidakis.

The Dayton Daily News said, ‘Mike Gonidakis, the group’s [ORTL] executive director, said the heartbeat legislation would not survive a court challenge. “Despite noble aspirations, there is no scenario under which the heartbeat legislation will be upheld by any court and therefore no lives will be saved by passage of this bill,” Gonidakis said in an e-mail. “Our goal is to protect the lives we can now and that is why we introduced the late-term ban.” Can Mr. Gonidakis not be aware that the majority of abortions occur in the FIRST trimester?

In an article dated as recent as November 8, 2012, “We’re going to keep the process close to the vest,” Mr. Gonidaks said. “We don’t want this to play out in the press. We’re still working on it, trading messages about the language. It’s not final yet.” Mr. Gonidakis would later say, EVEN after arriving at a ‘compromise’ for the bill, “It is the right idea at the wrong time”. So either Mr. Gonidakis has an evil twin or he never had any actual intention of doing one thing for a bill that could save lives.

Had Mike Gonidakis backed the bill initially – which the public wanted and proaborts criticized – the Heartbeat Bill could have passed. However, Mr. Gonidakis would not back the bill that would save many thousands of unborn lives over personal issues and because of his opinion, the bill lays dead as does the lives it could have saved.

It was also known within ‘right to life’ chapters and societies that they have disassociated with Ohio Right to Life because of ORTL’s anti-life stand on recent prolife legislation. Senate President Tom Niehaus actually said out loud, ‘We have been the most pro-life legislature in my memory’ while killing the bill. And that’s prolife? Again, how can Ohio RIGHT TO LIFE and ‘the most prolife legislature’ NOT support and pass the Heartbeat Bill?

Being in prolife ministry, I have spoken for our local 40 Days for Life rallies and our Stand Up for Religious Freedom rallies. Most in our community knows how I feel about saving as many unborn lives as possible as well as exposing the agendas of ‘prolife’ politicians. Our state Senator, Peggy Lehner (R), happened to be in attendance for one such rally and was not pleased with my opposition of certain individuals that claim to be prolife but are in fact career politicians.

The day before I testified in the Senate committee for the Heartbeat Bill, I received a letter in the mail from Ms. Lehner that was nearly verbatim of what Ohio Right to Life said about the bill…. ‘undergoing significant legal review’ and ‘if struck down it will simply embed Roe v. Wade deeper into law’ AND ‘that many are suggesting it is only the Ohio Senate that stands between life and death’,  etc. I brought the letter with me and asked the others if they had received theirs…they said they did not. Ms. Lehner tried to establish her side of the Heartbeat Bill story and to perhaps curtail me from testifying. What I should have done was taken this letter to the press and let them ask her the hard question of why a prolife State Senator would say no to life. Ms. Lehner has been criticized for ORTL’s significant role in her campaigns and ‘leadership’ within the State Senate.

We are technically still in ‘lame duck session’ but the likely survival of the Heartbeat Bill is slim if SO-CALLED prolife legislators are not on board with real life prolife bills on the table. Is there still ‘life’ in the bill? I sure hope so….because 26,000 unborn Ohioans die per year because they are not protected by laws that will not be passed if we do not redefine what PROLIFE means.

A Note to the Lofty Prolife Voter

Your vote counts – so the Prolife voter is caught between a rock and a hard place because the RNC candidate is not prolife enough for ya? Not so fast…

My husband and I have been pretty beaten up by Prolifers that have judged us to not be as Prolife as them in regard to the election in November. That was their first mistake, judging how Prolife we are. Their second mistake is to assume we are too stupid to know the difference between Prolifers and heretics. These Lofty Prolifers gave me a black eye for testifying for the Heartbeat Bill saying the bill won’t protect every unborn child, which is partially true; about 95% of unborn children would be saved from abortion. Go here to read up on Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill.

Even though I think that incremental law is a chicken way of toppling Roe, it is necessary to take these tiny steps to get to the doors of the Supreme Court. Personhood law in itself is not perfect because there were also deviations regarding contraception and IVF, which is part of the reason why it failed. The failure is on the part of the voter being too narrow focused on themselves instead of being broad-thinking enough to see that it would have saved lives. Voters won’t set aside their own agenda and ego enough to see the greater good. Now, that being said….

  1. We are quite aware that the RNC candidate is not secured in being completely Prolife.
  2. We are quite aware that the RNC candidate is a Mormon.
  3. We are quite aware that Catholics, Christians and Prolifers are causing division within the party because of their hardened heart and bloated ego.

In fact, one particular Lofty Prolifer not only accused us of not being prolife but had the unmitigated nerve to say that we are not Christians because of it. Now, just to let you know, we are not the only ones that this person has attacked. This Prolife attacker is not the only one; there are many, which is why I am addressing this issue. A lot of Prolifers are being criticized and shunned for choosing the RNC candidate. Anyway, let me answer this person’s issues:

  • We are not electing a Pastor or Priest. Voting Americans had this same issue when JFK was up for election saying he would take direction from the Vatican. And we all know just how ‘holy’ JFK was.
  • RNC candidate not Prolife enough? I agree. Neither was McCain in ’08; in fact he was entirely too wishy-washy moderate and proved that cannot get him elected.
  • This election is not about proving yourself more Prolife than other Prolifers by NOT voting for the RNC candidate as principle; it is about a faulty economy, forced healthcare and our national security (for starters) as well. Truly, people can’t be that inept…I thought. Any vote that goes to anyone else BUT the RNC candidate goes right into the hand of Obama.
  • NEVER judge a person’s salvation to prove your point: ‘Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.’ Matthew 7:1-2.

Anyway, all this being said, we have been given a hand that is not perfect….it’s not terrible, just not perfect. Remember this one fact when considering a candidate:

Barack Hussein Obama allowed about 6 million unborn children to die at the hands of abortionists while in office. Now, that does not count how many other MILLIONS are dead worldwide because Obama rescinded the Mexico City Policy. Because of his mandates and being in bed with Planned Parenthood, if elected again, you can add at least another 6+ million dead in the United States alone.

Your vote counts and may help save the lives of millions or murder them. Math does not lie.
