I’m near to embarrassment with the RNC Chairman Michael Steele. Politics, as usual? How has it gotten this bad? Even Senator Sam Brownback turned. Five Pastors have caved. And that’s the short list.
A quote from Sam Brownback back in ’07, “Legislatively, during my time in Congress, I have taken the lead in numerous legislative battles in defense of the sanctity and dignity of every human life from the moment of conception. I have also co-sponsored measures such as the “Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act” and the “Unborn Victims of Violence Act,” and I have been the principle sponsor of the “Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act.” But he’s backing Governor Kathleen Sebelius who has been monetarily supported by EMILY’s List during her election? Pick a team, Sam.
It is very disappointing with how RNC Chairman Steele has treated his new job. He’s pro-life, now he’s kind of pro-choice. Fox News had this to say – Pressure is mounting on Michael Steele to straighten up and fly right after stumbling out of the gate as the chairman of the Republican Party. The article goes on to say: Ken Blackwell (who I supported), told Steele “to get to work or get out of the way” after his latest controversial statement on abortion.
The new evangelical spiritual advisers to Obama; Kirbyjon Caldwell, Joel Hunter, T. D. Jakes, Otis Moss Jr. and Jim Wallis are some of the wishy-washiest bunch of wannabees I have seen in Christiandom. You can’t serve two masters – which means that they have to choose what they are…Pastors or Politicians. Obama has surrounded himself with seeker-sensitive ‘men of God’ that are chameleon in color and change their views like the weather if it means filling more pews and puffing up their egos. I poked through T.D. Jakes site and found nothing on pro-life issues or ministries. Likewise to the rest of Obama’s five. They look like speed-bumps to me.
What happened to being a Conservative Republican? Has everything gone beige?
