Pastor Walter Hoye is using his ‘time’ wisely! Read on:
Pastor Enters Third Week in Jail for Pro-Life Stand
The Rev. Walter Hoye is beginning his third week in jail for holding a sign outside an Oakland, Calif., abortion clinic. He was jailed for a month and fined $1,000.
On Saturday, supporters held a rally and press conference in front of City Hall in Oakland. And life advocates from around the world can send him letters of encouragement.
Writing from jail, Hoye called on his fellow pastors to keep the scourge of abortion prevalent in the minds of their congregations.
“Brothers, in Black America alone every seventy-two seconds a black baby is murdered in the womb of his or her mother,” he wrote. “This holocaust is genocidal to the point that today a black child has less than a fifty-percent chance of being born. According to the 2006 U.S. Census, Black Americans are below the replacement level.
“In other words, death in Black America outpaces life. … There is no question pre-natal murder, abortion, is the number one issue in not only Black America, but in all of America today.”
Two cents time!
Pastor Hoye should be praised for his work in doing whatever it takes to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those that seek abortion. The fact that he is giving God the Glory by sharing the Gospel with other jail-mates (as written in a recent post) is glorious in the eyes of the Lord. The Apostle Paul spent many, many years in prison for the Gospel and shared Jesus with his jailers. Pastor Hoye is not only trying to save the babies, he’s trying to save souls from a fiery Hell. Praise God!
True enough about how Planned Parenthood targets black american women – in fact one site said that while white women obtain 60% of all abortions, their abortion rate is well below that of minority women. Black women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have an abortion, and Hispanic women are roughly 2 times as likely. Since 1973, 13 million black americans lost their lives to aboriton.
