Plan B? No, the Do-Over.

I don’t want to know what Plan A was…

The ‘Plan B’ emergency contraception is nothing more than a abortifacient, a high dose of birth control drugs (the pill). Conservatives say it’s the equivalent of an abortion pill because it can prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus.

Last month, U.S. District Judge Edward Korman ruled in a New York lawsuit that Bush administration appointees let politics, not science, drive their decision to allow over-the-counter access to the pills only for women 18 and older. Korman ordered the agency to let 17-year-olds get the medication, and separately to evaluate whether all age restrictions should be lifted.

This is the real problem with Plan B:   It will encourage promiscuity, BUT the abortifacient that the Plan B meds are will in fact keep an embryo from attaching to the womb where it would get nourishment and grow for the next nine months. It’s nothing more than an abortion in a pill.

“This decision is driven by politics, not what is good for patients or minors,” said Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America, a public policy group representing religious conservatives. “Parents should be furious at the FDA’s complete disregard of parental rights and the safety of minors.”

Two Cents..

Again, parents losing the right to judge what our kids can and cannot do. Incredibly, according to this particular article, a pregnancy begins when a fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the uterus. Nothing can be further from the truth, however it serves a purpose…making women, and now girls, think that it’s not a baby yet.

Why don’t y’all let me know when I can be a parent again.
