The House that Abortion Built

We all saw it, the debacle called the Democratic National Convention. Nearly every speaker mentioned reproductive rights, war on women and abortion…just about in the same sentence. THIS is the house that abortion built.

The audience looked like they were in a thick fog of misinformation and disparity. They claim to not be single issue voters but show their love of abortion and dislike of God. THIS is the house that abortion built.

Most Democrats (not all…..30% are prolife) are under the impression that in order to be the best Democrat is to be pro-abortion. Abortion has become a tipping point to separate the men from the boys of the Democratic Party. Liberal Democrats are hogging the party and in effect making the entire party lopsided all because of the house that abortion built.

Has the DNC become a single issue party?

Let me expound…while testifying for Ohio’s Heartbeat Bill, we were made aware of the prolife Democrats that were our swing votes. Truly, the prolife Democrat is a precious, rare gem. Anyway, we had a harder time getting through to prolife Catholic Republicans; I do, in fact, have a letter from said prolife Catholic Republican stating why SHE would not vote for the bill that would save 25K+ unborn lives per year in Ohio. I cannot accept this woman as my State Senator, as a Republican OR as a prolifer. And I’m sure that when I speak at 40 Days this month, she’ll be there. The last time she was there, she took it upon herself to change the minds of Catholic prolife friends of mine KNOWING I had testified. What a TROLL. Oh, but I digress…..

But let me ask you: Will a prolife Democrat vote for Obama? Will a pro-choice Republican vote for Romney? Is single issue voting right or wrong, idealistic or dangerous? Is being ‘Independent’ kind of sloshy?

The house that abortion built is at least clear and unwavering. It’s also the house that built the moderate. Keeping everyone questioning, keep everyone within grasp…that’s the Liberal Democrat way.

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27

The ‘house’ should be built on the rock, the Holy Word of God…not abortion, liars, mockers and blasphemers.
