It’s almost the weekend again – it’s that part of the week when most people have those few precious moments to think the hard things and research solutions to ‘fix’ them. I’m a researcher, analyzer and over-thinker. I pre-organize my thoughts (is that even possible….), and if it’s fixable – and everything is – I’ll likely have an outline to write down and study.
But now, where you tread, you are abortion minded – whether you are pregnant or know someone who is, you are researching.
In the very best of circumstances or in the worst of situations, a pregnancy is created by God. You think your pregnancy may be the worst thing that can happen right now, but did you know this unborn child is eternally known by God…forever?
‘Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:26-28, NKJV)
Can you possibly fathom what God may look like? Has anyone ever seen God? “God created man in his OWN image” the Bible says. YOU are created in His image and so is your baby.
Abortion kills the created.
God is the Creator. God is perfect; therefore everything that is created is perfect. An unborn child you may consider being a fluke or defected was lovingly created and entrusted to you to give Him glory, not you. What is perfect in the eyes of mankind is not necessarily perfect in God’s eyes.
People that tell you to abort don’t have to live with the decision, but you do.
Researching is a good thing! It shows due diligent thought and process in decision making. But did you research the reasons why you put yourself a situation to get pregnant? Did you take the time to count the costs? Of course not…but now your unborn baby has to die for your momentary lapse in judgment?
About 3 weeks into pregnancy, your baby already has a heartbeat.
You are worrying about what God has already taken care of because He takes care of His created:
“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” (Matthew 6:25-26, NKJV)
I am the created. So are you. Defend your baby – he/she is trusting you to.
