I seldom read books on being post-abortive. There is some good information in them, but there is still too much ‘fluff’ instead of Bible. We are too interested in pacifying a sin instead of calling it what it is…SIN. ABORTION IS SIN AND I SINNED.
I read one and a half of another of these books; couldn’t finish the second one. It was too absorbed in a mystical Jesus instead of a Holy God that is MAD AT SIN but loves us in spite of it because He gave us a way out: “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it”, [1Cor 10:13] Unfortunately, some of us don’t recognize the ‘way out’; we are NEVER WITHOUT ESCAPE.
But we are WOMEN IN COMBAT, boots on the ground, trying to fight this fight of abortion and post-abortion like a Soldier of Christ instead of a weak and incapable subhuman ‘Purpose Driven Life’* being. I am fought against, therefore I FIGHT: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” [Ephesians 6:12]
Maybe that’s where women have it wrong…thinking that everyone else will think this through FOR them instead of giving them the tools to reconcile the consequences of SIN. Abortion kills unborn human beings, not blobs. Thank you Liberal Socialist Government….could not have done it without ya.
Humans were not created by God TO murder, but with the ability and free will to murder and kill (there is a difference). Post-abortive and pre-abortive women and men like to think that all of this is God’s fault…but how can it be when God is perfect and we are not? No, God did not create us to murder:
Romans 9:20 says, ‘But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?”
We should never even think of abortion as being an ‘option’. If every person understood Life and that we are known by God intimately and eternally, we would NEVER consider destroying what is ultimately HIS. We are not our own:
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
BOOTS ON THE GROUND BECAUSE WE ARE WOMEN IN COMBAT.
[*yes, that was a shot]
