Notes from the Sidewalk

Some of the prolife interns :)
Some of the prolife interns 🙂

This has been an interesting week, to say the absolute least…but I’m grateful for that. It shows our prolife effort is making an impact if it stirs the demons – yes, the feminazis showed up which was great timing since our local Right to Life chapter sent some summer prolife interns to see our local effort. They got the chance to see a sample of the anti-life terrorism and pray for us during their short time with us.

These demons are kind of like roaches, you see one and there are bazillions behind the wall staying away from the LIGHT waiting for the dark to sneak out and feed on the effort of others:

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” [Matthew 5:14]

This is what CHOICE looks like.

And for all the hard work they put into vulgar signs such as the one above and some that said ‘asshole’ and ‘honk if you like sex’, we did see MUCH encouragement from like-minded prolifers and passers-by this week. As you can see by this anti-life demon-penned sign above, we had many people much more offended by that than the graphic aborted baby signs. The police came twice letting us know we have done nothing wrong and spoke to the new anti-life terrorists about their obvious attempts to intimidate and antagonize an otherwise peaceful vigil. They were pitiful and childish…the typical Obama voter.1043847_10200687444762874_1456448682_n

As a sidewalk ‘Pastor’ [as Miss Viv calls me], I’ve seen these demons try to engage Christians in conversations to dispel what is of God, such as saving the unborn and a chaste lifestyle. Truly it is the  strongest Christian that can do this thing simply because our maturity as a Christian is so important; be prayed up and out:

“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to STAND against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenlyplaces. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND.” [Ephesians 6:11-13]

Our local news came by for an interview regarding a local interest in the Texas Statehouse Filibuster. See that commentary here. We are always appreciative of the media coming by to see our local prolife effort. However, much of what was said was not aired – no surprise there – but still thankful for the moment on the news.

2013-06-18-10-30-361.jpgAs I continue this Prolife Ministry and chronicle the goings-on, I am reminded that we are sent by God to do an uncommon thing on a common public sidewalk. Not one demon, feminazi, pro-choicer, pro-abort, or atheist can tell me that we do not affect the public and the pre-abortive moms and dads.

We will gear up, maybe even tear up, gird up, PRAY UP for ‘there, but for the Grace of God, go I.’

See you on the sidewalk!

“Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance; but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” [1Peter 1:13-16]
