The God-INTENDED Feminist, Part 1

It’s true: there is such a thing as a God-intended Feminist. She was profiled in the Bible, Proverbs 31. She was a woman of many faults, mostly remembered as an adulterer that found her way to King David’s bed while she was married. God’s plan was never for Bathsheba to be an adulterer just as it has NEVER been God’s plan for any woman to be used in such a way. But God did have his way; Bathsheba became the mother of Solomon who is in the lineage of Christ. What an honor! But she didn’t just lay around bemoaning or complaining, she never felt ‘entitled’ or put herself on a pedestal.

In Proverbs 31, Bathsheba was a mother, a wife, a neighbor, grew food and cooked it, made clothing, sold merchandise she made, was wise, had strength and honor.  She was not a perfect woman but with God she was healed and restored of her past and became the Proverbs 31 woman – God’s INTENDED Feminist.

‘She extends her hand to the poor,
Yes, she reaches out her hands to the needy.’ [Proverbs 31:20]

My husband laughs at my first impression of the Proverbs 31 woman; I said it was a bit far-reaching. But I was wrong; I was still steeped in sin and believed that I will NEVER be good enough to carry the Proverbs 31 woman’s purse much less be like her. God intended every woman to be this pillar He depicted in Proverbs 31. And today I still strive to be that God-INTENDED Feminist.

A world-intended feminist is the evil twin – the counterfeit – of what God intended the Proverbs 31 woman to be. The new world-intended feminist wants to emasculate men and put themselves on a throne far above them. 

God is not pleased, the world is not impressed. My dear prochoice world-intended feminist: You are WRONG.

Dear prochoice world-intended feminist: YOU BEGGED the government to come INTO your bedroom since 1973. YOU insisted that the government provide you with the tools necessary to be sexually active without responsibility or apology. YOU insisted the rest of us pay for your irresponsibility regardless of the cost. YOU cry ‘foul!’ when we have the audacity to change the willfulness of this abortion agenda through legislation. YOU wanted the government in your bedroom…but WE DO NOT.

v8 ‘Open your mouth for the speechless,
In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
v9 Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And plead the cause of the poor and needy.’ [Proverbs 31:8-9]

And, my dear prochoice feminist, you are not a feminist at all, in fact it is hypocritical of you to identify as a feminist. Real feminists contribute TO society and TO their families. But because of your so-called ‘my body, my choice’ and abortion agenda, life is now ‘negotiable’, if that.

Women have emancipated themselves from the traditional roles of being a mother and a wife to a lifestyle that destines them to depression, disparage and disconnect.

v10 ‘Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
v11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;
So he will have no lack of gain.
v12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.’ [Proverbs 31:10-12]

World-intended feminists intentionally confuse ‘life’ with ‘lifestyle‘. That’s agenda. Their lifestyle is costing the rest of the country that keeps their sex life to themselves BILLIONS. Women have been getting abortions because they can. If abortion was not available, women and girls would make better ‘choices’ regarding their bodies and relationships.

‘Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.’ [Proverbs 31:30]

God has never put women on a path of self-righteousness or pride. Abortion is to be childless, not superior to men.

Women do deserve better, but first we need GOD.
