A blogger wrote: “The prochoice movement has failed women. The prolife movement has failed women. We have all failed women.” Everyone has failed being a friend, boyfriend, spouse, parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle to women in crisis. But what really hurts me is that as a woman we are totally dependent on other’s opinions and decisions regarding our own lives. And what happens? Their decisions become our decisions. Their agendas become our agendas. Then, it’s easy to see who created the so-called war on women.
Women are miserable failures. Just ask the Samaritan Woman.
Considering there are over 60 MILLION abortion deaths since 1973 [that we know of], I’d say that we are leaving the decision making to people that feel we are not worthy enough to be a mother or a girlfriend or a wife.
The truth is that women have failed themselves by listening to an agenda rather than God, “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” [John 4:29]
The enemy seeks women because God made us life-bearers. The Messiah would come from a woman and the devil tried for thousands of years to keep that from happening: “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel,” [Gen 3:15]
Knowing is half the battle? It should be. But we are so self-willed and gullible of what others want that we cave…badly. It goes back to the constant affirmation that women and girls feed on to survive. It’s like the air we need to breathe; “Abort? Okay, if YOU think it’s the right thing for ME to do.” Women and girls secretly believe that if we do what everyone else wants, they’ll be our best friends forever. But all we really did was CAVE to their selfish personal agenda and we are left to deal with the mess for the rest of OUR lives.
Yes, KNOWING is half the battle to win the WAR:
v2 Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked,
From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,
v3 Who sharpen their tongue like a sword,
And bend their bows to shoot their arrows—bitter words,
v4 That they may shoot in secret at the blameless;
Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.
It’s so obvious that the world seeks our submission to their agenda:
v5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter;
They talk of laying snares secretly; they say, “Who will see them?”
v6 They devise iniquities: “We have perfected a shrewd scheme.”
Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.
Agenda is not what we need when in crisis, we need GOD:
v7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow;
Suddenly they shall be wounded.
v8 So He will make them stumble over their own tongue;
All who see them shall flee away.
v9 All men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God;
For they shall wisely consider His doing.
But God is GOOD; He warns us and protects us:
v10 The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him.
And all the upright in heart shall glory. [Psalm 64:2-10]
Abortion is never the answer to crisis. Women are better than that but first we have to BELIEVE we are better than that. Regardless if you are a Christian or not, agnostic or spiritual, the Word of God is what will strengthen women from the inside out REGARDLESS of what her past is.
