HOBBY LOBBY DECISION: Victorious, at what cost?

While I am pleased with the decision, the fact that we still have to fight for our most basic rights is ludicrous. Over and over again we fight this fight, a fight that WAS fought for, to keep our religious freedom and freedom of speech LEGAL.

How many unborn lives were lost because businesses were forced to provide toxic contraception and abortion coverage to workers?

I believe that Christians need to start acting like Christians; they need to use their God-given ability to share the Gospel all the time, to spend their money with like-minded individuals and companies, and be what God called them to be. We have caved over and over and over again as a Christian society to protected classes of people who hate us. It’s time to for the tail to stop waggin’ the dog.

For now, the Hobby Lobby decision is a victory – but as Christians we need to continue to fight the good fight of faith, be the example we are called to be, to never take no as the usual answer from the social agenda.

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” 1Peter 3:15
