Every day we ask ourselves the same thing you ask us as we sift through angst and doubt; we wade through deceit and flawed decision makers: WHY? Precious time is scarce, every day the unborn have to wait it out to see if they can survive ‘choice’. Every day. Can you imagine living every day of your life wondering if it’s your last one because someone else has the ability and power to murder you?
“Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one: for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries BY A GOVERNMENT, which we might expect in a country WITHOUT GOVERNMENT, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer.” Thomas Paine, Founding Father of the United States of America.
Every day we are faced with so-called ‘settled law’ of abortion. And every day we consider the unborn lives hanging in the balance and know that the ‘law’ has always been wrong. According to a bunch of black robed men, the Constitution was a just a bit of jargon that has no basis for every American’s right to life and liberty. For that, every person in America should be aware that if there is no right to life and liberty in the womb, how is it that any born American has any right to life or liberty OUTSIDE the womb? Even so, there is a true culture of death, one that spans the entire gestation of the pregnancy – and beyond.
Every day prolifers are quite aware of the ‘law’. Every single day prolifers debate both man’s law and the Law of God. While progressives force feed us for their so-called ‘progress’, conservatives continue to battle for our fought for freedoms and right to life in a country that pulled away from tyranny 239 years ago – only to be thrown onto the front lines of the culture wars.
And while proaborts and progressives survive on their own set of rules, Christians abide by and set Godly precedent for generations to come. Our generations are dwindling at an alarming rate because OF ‘settled law’. But we have God. And if the ‘law’ of the day would have been enacted, an unmarried pregnant Mary would have been stoned to death. Mercy and Grace withstood, our precious Jesus born to the most virtuous in spite of what was the ‘law’ of the day. The Law of God goes without fanfare but it does resonate like a the sound of the shofar, a call to ACTION, the sound of the coming Christ:
27 “And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, 28 saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!” 29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:27-29
The battle lines drawn, the outcome is already known; but we fight for even just the one. Every day.
