The Nonsensical Sense of LIFE.

Sometimes, even I can’t make sense of life. Or loss of life, I should say. I shake my head, I pray, I mourn. As a minister, I know the answer – it is the process of it all that can be incomprehensible.

In the last few weeks, our large church family lost three members, stalwarts in the faith, crazy amazing testimonies, true love of God and family and church.

A woman who was part of the church for 25+ years, died from covid complications.

A man who had a large company used his money to literally go into all the world and preach the Gospel, died from a long battle with cancer.

A man with a large family, successful in all aspects, children in ministry, died from complications from a heart transplant.

Everyone dies. But these great people died well, in the faith, never sacrificing their beliefs. These three faith heroes died hard deaths. I cannot imagine what they must have gone through. During their lives they had kairos moments, they had joy, they had disappointments, they had a church family that loved and respected them. Ultimately, they found their Lord and Savior waiting with open arms despite all of the pain and sorrow of dying: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” [2Tim 4:7]

I can only imagine it. But to address my first sentence, there really is much sense to this.

There is no partiality with God. Rich or poor, the sting of death is equal.

Because of the fall of Man, we will have disease and sickness.

And if you accept Jesus, Heaven will be your home, pain and sorrow free. That makes the process of LIFE an adventure and precious…and every moment counts. This life is our path to Him, and our chosen Eternity: “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” [Romans 10:13]

Whose Life Matters Anyway? Thoughts from the Sidewalk.

Lots of stuff going on in the public space right now. It has been largely overwrought with manufacturing fear and forced displacement in the recent days. As a group, we do protest and participate in demonstrations. We also have outreaches amid the assumed chaos so that everyone who has questions and concerns will be addressed quickly. Being armed with answers rather than unrest is key.

However, we are not seeing that with this new movement blanketing our major cities. Rather, they have unrest and anger with the out loud blessings of the far left community and politicians. Business owners have actually apologized to this so-called movement for having businesses in their way while rioting, noting they may have to close permanently or dig deep into their personal savings because of the damage incurred.

A couple of days ago, a woman who attended BLM/Antifa protests came to the sidewalk to ask: “How are you able to peacefully do this and not being bothered by the police while we are getting teargassed with our hands up?” The idea here is that we are also ‘protesting’ which is not always true. Trying to save an unborn person’s life is not protesting, it’s counseling young mothers to know their worth and ability to be the mother God intended for their unborn child. They answer is YES, there is counseling and protesting on the sidewalk, but not in the exact same space otherwise it causes confusion. No yelling, no name calling, no personal attacks. Ever.

Here, we have TWO different types of protesting. Good prolifers find out about where the public right of way is, addresses the issues and police correctly, and does not get violent or harass, understands time limits particularly if a permit had to be pulled. Prolifers speak with love and truth, we have answers and resources. The ‘protesters’ she is speaking of are purposely blocking roads and highways, beating up bystanders and business owners, busting up private and public property, ignores curfews and orders and laws.

Abortion has claimed AT LEAST 20 MILLION black lives since 1973. When you do the math,

black women disproportionately abort FOUR times more than white women. In NYC, more black women abort than give birth. Why? What is the cause of this extreme racism toward

unborn minority children? Why are minorities targeted by the far left and the abortion industry? Why do they want to separate women from their unborn children?

According to the report, in 2013 black women accounted for 29,007 terminated pregnancies, representing almost 42 percent of all abortions in the city. That same year, black women in the city gave birth to 24,108 babies. With abortions surpassing live births by nearly 5,000, African American women in the city clearly terminated pregnancies more often than they carried babies to term. Black women terminated pregnancies at a rate of 67.3 per 1,000 women ages 15 to 49, a rate far higher than any other racial or ethnic group……The numbers for black women in NYC starkly contrasted with women in other racial and ethnic categories. In 2013, births far surpassed abortions for white, Hispanic and Asian/Pacific Islander women. Hispanic women accounted for the second-most abortions in the city with 21,555, but they also had 35,581 live births. Asian women had both the fewest abortions and fewest births, while white women accounted for the most births overall and second-fewest abortions.” Read the rest here.

These are all questions we can guess an answer to, but largely we cannot know why the abortion industry – FUELED by far left extreme politicians – target marginalized minority women who abort four times more than caucasian women.

And THAT is an issue we all need to address because all lives do matter.

Memorial Day is Every Day in the Abortion Wars.

In the abortion wars, soldiers die everyday in a war they never knew existed or was a part of. 52 unborn Ohioans will be aborted TODAY. Thousands will aborted in the United States 20170605_164603TODAY. They are THOUSANDS of people who knew NO liberty, NO freedom, nothing. Just death, in the premeditated abortion wars.

War is hell. Absolutely. War has taken the lives of brave men and women who fought for YOUR freedoms, freedoms we take for granted and fight against. Tyranny was a part of our birth as a free nation; is it a part of our past or is it a glaring future for us? And if it isn’t, then how can we justify killing innocent people every single day in a war you pretend not to notice?

This Memorial Day, I challenge you to also remember those who fell during the fake war on women:

  • Number of American battle deaths in all U.S. wars since 1776: 654,000
  • Number of abortions in the United States since Roe: 65+ MILLION
  • Ratio of U.S. abortions to battle deaths in all U.S. wars: about 80 to 1.

Our soldiers sacrificed 2020-05-02for our freedom, our unborn sacrificed for a woman’s so-called ‘right to choose’. I do not believe that any of our soldiers went into battle to support the calculated execution of the unborn.

Remember the 4000 unborn children who will die today and every day in a war called CHOICE. The abortion death of unborn life has no parade in their honor, no picnics, no memorials…just a sacrifice of life that will be remembered by no one other than the breaking hearts of their mothers.

To the eager participants of War on Women, their aborted children are collateral damage; but to most Americans, they are lives they CHOSE to ignore. Perhaps their deaths weren’t glorious enough for a parade?

Union General William Tecumseh Sherman said “War is hell“. Choice said, ‘hold my beer’. Perhaps it’s time to free the unborn from a war they also did not CHOOSE.

The REAL Roe, Not the fake FX one.

First, let’s talk about how proaborts and the new FX AKA Roe doc says that Norma McCorvey was paid by the prolife movement.

BREAKING PROABORT NEWS: Proabort groups, funders, deathscorts, and politicians are PAID by abortion money, blood money. Cecil Richards was paid nearly $700,000 in the 2015-2016 fiscal year according to the most recent tax documents from Planned Parenthood at that time. BUT this is just how STUPID the proabort movement is. They whine that Norma was paid for doing a job by the people who hired her. But go ahead, complain Norma was given money for her time. At least it wasn’t paid by people who murder unborn people.

We are pretty sure they aren’t doing a job without getting paid.

Second, Norma McCorvey NEVER SPENT ONE DAY IN COURT. In fact, she found out Roe was law from the media. She did not get a phone call from her attorney or anyone else from the proabort movement. NOT ONE.

Norma did not write I Am Roe: My Life, Roe V. Wade, & Freedom of Choice. NOT ONE WORD.

It was entirely written by a ghost writer. So you have to ask yourself who would benefit from that, IF she was PAID, and who paid her.

Here are some comments from prolife leaders regarding this debacle of a ‘documentary’:

“We were hanging out and talking over a meal (Norma LOVED to hang out and talk) and Norma shared this very moving story. She said how much she loved and appreciated the pro-life community because it was a family she never had. Norma went on to say she felt accepted and embraced which was something she never experienced with the pro-choice movement….Norma said, they never hung out with her. Never socialized with her. Rather, they made her feel like the “ugly stepdaughter” and were embarrassed by her. That is why she so enjoyed hanging out with “us!” She was part of our tribe, not because she was “Jane Roe,” but because she was just Norma.” Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Director of Christian Defense Coalition.

“Sadly, Rob Schenck, who reportedly appears in the film, also accused Operation Rescue of paying Norma McCorvey to say she was pro-life and taking advantage of her.”

“Nothing could be further from the truth.  Operation Rescue loved, respected, and protected Norma, even taking her in to our own families…..Rob has turned on those he once called friends and is now trying to hurt us.  It is very sad that his bitterness and confusion were also exploited by the filmmakers.” Troy Newman, Operation Rescue. Read the rest here.

We cannot imagine the demons that Norma battled since Roe was made into law. Imagine knowing you were used and abused by an agenda that has murdered over 65 MILLION innocent people. We believe Norma understood salvation and accepted it, but may have thought she did not deserve it. Many Christians feel that way. How can a Holy God send His only Son to die for ME? Or YOU? God did that through His unquenching LOVE for us. It is difficult to imagine that we were all known to Him before the foundation of the world, but He did, and Scripture proves that. His love proves that. His Grace and Mercy proves that.

Miss Norma, we are so sorry that your memory will be tainted by people whose only agenda is to use women like you to keep killing innocent people. But I assure you that we will keep your prolife life alive and well regardless of what they try to do to you, even in your death. But isn’t that the way the proabort movement works, feeding off people that can’t defend themselves?

Against our better judgement, we’ll watch the AKA Roe doc. Just keep in mind that this doc is coming out THREE YEARS after Norma’s death, and that is just a bit suspicious.
