Incremental Prolife Law Explained

Totally get it. Abortion should be abolished, no question. But that is not how the law works because the law is BROKEN. We know this. But abolitionists holding their breath until they get what they want is not saving one life.

v6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.
v7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
v8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. [1Cor 3:6-8]

THAT is incrementalism explained. THAT is Bible.

Did you know it takes, on average, about a dozen times to hear the Gospel to finally come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ? You know, getting saved? Because God works through people like you and me. God has always worked with people because of the Fall: “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.” [Romans 13:1]

If you really think Roe and abortion will magically disappear, you’ll be waiting until the Rapture because:

*People still steal even though it’s illegal
*People still buy/sell drugs even though it’s illegal
*People still scam even though it’s illegal
*People still murder – even though it’s illegal

*And women will still try to abort their unborn children when it becomes illegal.

The list is endless. An abolitionist’s purpose is not supposed to be wagging a finger at other activists, but rather furthering the Gospel to MAKE ABORTION UNTHINKABLE. And here’s why…

The abortion pill is being sold over the internet ALL THE TIME. Moms are taking it upon themselves to ‘self care’ at home because incrementalism has taken abortion mills off every corner. These women need the Gospel, these women need Mercy and Grace. THEY NEED CORRECT INFORMATION and a real options.

Incrementalism has LITERALLY saved millions of lives since abortion has been legal. MILLIONS. Absolutely NO ONE can deny that. And it is important to note that the only way to repeal Roe, and in every state (there’s that pesky 10th Amendment, some states have trigger laws in place now) is to be vigilant, support legislation, and be on the sidewalk where every person going into a kill mill will hear about Jesus and His Love for them, and the family residing within them.

But here is my last thought about all of this: Some abolitionists are taking public pot shots in a passive/aggressive manner at good people doing great things, and it is abysmal. It causes public division that makes all of us look like we are running with scissors AT EACH OTHER while proaborts watch the sideshow.

HOWEVER there are bad prolifers. A lot of them. We will continue to expose them.

And there you have it. I take NO glory in taking pot shots at others because it does NOT please God. Please consider the same. Take the same voracity at proaborts and deathscorts and their handlers rather than the others who are on your side of the sidewalk.

You can be prolife AND anti-abortion at the same time. True story.

BREAKING: Sin of Abortion Cannot Be Outlawed. Yet.

And that, my friends, is a true statement. The reason for the post is because an ‘abolitionist’ said: “Christians who lamely remark ‘abortion will be with us forever’ are precisely the reason why.”

Actually, I should have written the ‘abolitionist’ WRONGLY said. And here’s why.

First – Remember that I am an ordained & licensed minister. I am aware of the Word of2016-07-21 10.46.41 God. I do not flippantly remark on the things of God, nor the implications. This is how people get into wrong doctrine and absolute cults. Any deviation from the written Word of God OR putting ANYTHING between you and the Cross of Christ is H E R E S Y. And that is regardless of anything. Skewing the Word of God to sort out your personal ‘beliefs’ is H E R E S Y, For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; v19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book,” Rev 22:18-19.

Second – The world will always have sin in it until Jesus comes back. Period. We will never be without sin, but as an individual we can take specific sins out of our lives. To better understand that, read and re-read Romans 5,6,7 & 8. The sin nature is powerful! But we have Jesus, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace,” Romans 6:14.

Third – In order to ‘eradicate’ sin, and in this instance a particular sin, you must reach their heart. Evangelism is personal, a heart-to-heart relationship with Christ to know that you are a sinner. Abortion is a sin, and knowing that is the first first step, “v1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. v2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death,” Romans 8:1-2.

Then finally – Never, NEVER has any law EVER made a sin (homicide, drugs, theft, etc.) go away. NOT ONE TIME. Nor will it ever.

People still shoot each other regardless of the law.

People still do/sell/overdose on drugs regardless of the law.

People still steal other people’s stuff regardless of the law.

People will abort their unborn children regardless of any laws, whether abortion is outlawed or with incremental laws. The one thing that proaborts got right is that outlawing abortion will create the so-called ‘back alley abortion’. People will always break the law, even knowing the end game, abortion is no different. But that does not make the argument to keep unborn baby murder legal.

Friends: The Bible says, “v12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;  v13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure,” Phil 2:12-13.

No, sin cannot be eradicated until Jesus comes back for His Church. And until then:

“v21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. v22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Happy New Year.
