BREAKING NEWS: Dayton ‘Mayor’ to Perform Gay Marriage Ceremony at Pride Event

Dayton’s Mayor will be the Grand Marshal of the 2014 Gay Pride Parade this weekend performing ‘marriages’ even though her Catholic faith has been staunchly and historically against such abominations.

KEEPLIFELEGALDayton has a domestic partner registry, and ‘Mayor’ Whaley said it will soon offer same-sex couples commitment ceremonies.

These ‘marriages’ are symbolic same-sex marriage ceremony for six couples as part of the annual Pride festival on Courthouse Square in downtown Dayton so that her personal agenda will be for everyone to be forced onto everyone.

The Old Courthouse was preserved both for its significance to Dayton’s history – In 1859, Abraham Lincoln stood on its stone steps to address the community during his presidential campaign. I can only imagine how horrified President Lincoln would be if he were alive to see this blatant sideshow where he stood protecting our liberties.KEEPLIFLEGAL

‘Mayor’ Nan Whaley also is importing so-called Islamic refugees calling it an ‘economic boost’ while actively attending Planned Parenthood events – including a recent meeting in Cincinnati to raise funds for abortions. This is not a mayor, this is an AGENDA. If she can turn her back to the most innocent, vulnerable and underserved of Dayton, how can the residents of Dayton trust her? The answer is that WE CANNOT TRUST NAN WHALEY TO SERVE ALL OF THE PEOPLE.

Is homosexuality of any kind anti-life? YES – Life is maintained through NATURAL procreation of one man & one woman. Just because ‘man’ has made a way – taking God out of the equation – to make designer children in petri dishes to satisfy their lifestyle choice does not make it right, correct or holy because homosexuality has never been right, correct or holy.

“For us in the city, we are proud of our record of being open to everyone and promoting equality,” she said. Whaley is only ‘open’ to those that seek to take our religious freedoms and civil liberties away while promoting homosexuality, abortion, Islam and the AFL-CIO.

“The city of Dayton has assured itself of the judgement of God Almighty of which it sorely deserves for its promotion of The Islamic and LGBT agenda’s by its elected so-called leadership, said Rev. J.S. Marple of the recent debacle.

This horrible mistake of a Mayor is making an already economically depressed city that is LOSING residents impossible for middle class families to live and business and churches to thrive.

Dayton needs to refocus and redefine its priorities before there is no one to lead.

….and the reformed said, THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

get your preach on

Today is ‘Reformation Day’, NOT HALLOWEEN; the day when Martin Luther saw through scripture that the ‘just shall live by Faith’, NOT an evolution of faith via religion, otherwise God lied to Abraham: “And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness”, Genesis 15:6.

“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17

[Which interpreted correctly from the original text should read ‘The just shall live by HIS faith’]

There is always a counterfeit for everything holy.

The 95 Theses, his revelation of the truth of the doctrine of God, were written by Martin Luther in October 31, 1517. Ignoring the fact that Luther unlocked what was purposely omitted shows where the true heretic lies:

JESUS SAID: “Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division.” Luke 12:51

AND: “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.” Matthew 10:34

‘They just shall live by faith’ is the basis for Evangelical Christianity [the Doctrine of the Bible] because it points to what Christ did at the Cross instead of trusting in organized religion and its man-appointed leaders. I know this does not bode well with organized religion but the Word of God supersedes anything that man says or does.

Martin Luther was given revelation by God to undo what ‘man’ had done for centuries to His Word, His opinion, His ultimate goal. The Reformation was now the line in the sand to mark those that cause the actual division – those that teach religion to salvation.

This is why there is such a thing as ‘Nondenominational Christian’. While organized religion thinks we run with scissors, I assure you that if one reads and understands the Canon of Scripture in the intent it was written [from the original texts of Hebrew & Greek] and understands that it is THE inspired Word of God without the opinion of man, you would see that Nondenoms are actually ON the Roman Road by way of His leading. The Bible taught order, not liturgy.

While Martin Luther was not a perfect man nor lived a perfect life, he did do this one thing: caused division from the ‘Church’ and showed that Christians needed to put their Faith in Jesus Christ alone and not organized religion or man. We needed a Saviour, not a figurehead, general superintendent, presiding bishop, general overseer, general conference, self-appointed prophet & apostles or even the Pope: The just shall live by Faith. [Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:7, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38]

We forget that organized religion killed Jesus on that day, and most certainly do not read the entire Bible to see what Christ himself said and did. If organized religion says they will decipher scripture for you, run FAST. Asking an opinion is one thing, but someone dictating from opinion of an organization rather than straight from the Word of God is frightening. However, I do like sharing ideas about Scripture; it makes for great conversation BUT getting away from the Finished Work of Christ can change your Eternal destination. Always back up what you say with Scripture because if you don’t, then the point is moot.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” [John 5:24]

SIDEWALK CHRONICLES: The Porsche Guy

I am writing this in a manner not to offend my Catholic friends but I feel that the remarks that Francis has made about abortion, contraception and gay marriage are damning and damaging to the church and the morality of the nation. I do not believe in Catholic doctrine, everyone knows that. I’ve kept my peace…but this time Francis has opened up a can of ‘abortion’ worms. I saw the interview this morning with Dolan and thought….I wonder how long it will take to see this on the sidewalk? Hours….only HOURS. TRUTH

Has Francis backed away from abortion, contraception and gay marriage? Truth and perception are two totally different things. The media believes that Francis has loosened up while conservative Catholics say “it’s not what it looks like”. I think it is. Here’s why:

PERCEPTION: On the sidewalk today, a 60ish year old man in a Porsche Carrera convertible stopped on a very busy street around lunch time to tell us that “The Pope said abortion is okay!” and something to the effect that we don’t have to ‘do this’ anymore. Porsche Guy assumed we were Catholic drones that would do anything the Pope said and now we’re off the hook. Let me be clear: Even IF I were Catholic, I would not succumb to incorrect doctrine or a bad pope….but some would. Unfortunately, we’ve heard it with our own ears.

Anyway, I responded with ‘it wasn’t true what the Pope said’. Porsche Guy said, AND I QUOTE: “Tough shit, the Pope said so!” and races off. Coward. He should have parked that Porsche JUNK and chat awhile. I wonder why no one does when they have the fortitude to tell us off…anyway…

“It is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time. The dogmatic and moral teachings of the church are not all equivalent. The church’s pastoral ministry cannot be obsessed with the transmission of a disjointed multitude of doctrines to be imposed insistently…..We have to find a new balance,” the pope continued, “otherwise even the moral edifice of the church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel.” Read the rest here.

Disjointeddogmaticnot equivalentnew balance. This stinks of the same noncommittal attitude of the Gospel as Joel Osteen. I will say the one thing Francis is correct about is that the church WILL fall like a house of cards with this kind of attitude on sin.

Francis also said: “We cannot insist only on issues related to abortion, gay marriage and the use of contraceptive methods. This is not possible,” he said. “The teaching of the church, for that matter, is clear and I am a son of the church, but it is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time.” I disagree…if you do not address sin, you run with papal scissors. Basic human morality and salvation is at stake ALL THE TIME.

TRUTHFrancis just threw a wrench into solid doctrine because of his Jesuit roots. Don’t look so surprised, this was coming and it isn’t over yet; the implication is clear that Francis is zeroing in on the circumstance NOT the sin. That is not biblical but it is popular:

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” Romans 1:28-32

It’s bad enough that Evangelicals and Protestants waver and hide with abortion and gay marriage, and now this? Francis opened the door to the ‘drive by’ we received today. I sure hope Francis doesn’t start traveling with ‘Nuns on the Bus‘; they are the epitome of social justice while forsaking the unborn, among other things. My family are liberal Catholics that have all kinds of opinions with no action, just like the Porsche Guy. I used to be one of them.

Cowards…all hat, no cowboy.

BUT the truth will prevail, Jesus is coming again regardless of me, Francis or Porsche Guy. The truth is valuable and it’s FREE:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6

[COMMENTS: If you are led to make a comment on Catholic doctrine, please back it up with Scripture.]

Meet Me in St. Louis – rogue nun style.

I am from St. Louis which is hugely Catholic, as I’m sure you know. When someone in STL says where they live, it’s not by neighborhood or street name, it’s by parish. My last house was in St. George Parish. If you are from STL, you know exactly where that is. All that being said, it is not uncommon to have issues pop up now and then or news regarding Catholic issues. Pope John Paul II came to STL in ’99 which literally put STL on its knees.

The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) is descending on St. Louis next week and hopefully the will be reprimanded for their ‘rogue’ style of servitude. So says the St. Louis Review:

“In April, the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith announced a major reform of the LCWR, which has more than 1,500 members of U.S. congregations of women religious. They represent about 80 percent of the 57,000 women religious in the United States. It currently holds a canonical status that is granted by the Vatican.”

But these rouge sisters are not going by the rules…or the specific doctrine they signed up for. Here’s why I know this…

As you all know, in the 1970’s Roe was passed. And STL being Catholic oriented, these rogue nuns were ‘helping women in need’ to make contraception and abortion decisions. I remember being told that the Church ‘isn’t like that anymore’ about abortion. DANGEROUS, to say the least. Women, Catholic or not, see these rogue nuns as someone to heed because they are nuns – holy, and that their opinions would be holy as well. But they are doing not-so-holy things.

As one person put it, “You see a difference in the theology of the sisters who are on the margins, who live with the people, whose theology is informed by the work they do,” said Jennifer Reyes Lay, program coordinator for the St. Louis-based Catholic Action Network. “And then the theology of people who hold positions in the hierarchy who aren’t as connected to people and who can maintain black-and-white guidelines. It gets messier when you’re on the ground.” Not a truer word was said. The LCWR is not so quietly separating themselves from Rome.

As a prolifer, my problem with rogue nuns, rogue Pastors, rogue Priests, and the like is that they are not entirely prolife, and some not at all. People (I was one of them) go to them for advice because in their mind these people are holy and closer to God. Should you seek counsel in times of unrest such as an unplanned pregnancy? The Bible says to seek counsel, and our Counselor is Christ:

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6, NKJV.

These rogue nuns do not seek the counsel of Christ as we ought to have done in the first place. Do I blame these rogue nuns for my abortion? Somewhat, yes I do. My mother listened to their veiled reasoning and put me in the grasp of an abortionist. Truly, this is one of the BIGGEST reasons why I left the Catholic Church over 30 years ago. I could not understand why the Vatican says one thing and the local church, priests and nuns say another. I find the entire thing to be bondage and contradictory.

Actually, the whole thing finally makes sense to me with the women of my family; they saw these rogue nuns usurping the authority of the Church and found it to be empowering instead of what it was: denying doctrine, such as sex before marriage, contraception and abortion as accepted practices rather than forbidden.

So the bottom line is this: The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and the Church needs to stop them. How many other aborted unborn babies are they responsible for? Well, the blood is on their hands. They need Jesus.

Along the Great Prolife Divide

Division has long been an issue among all people regardless of the subject matter. There will always be the stalwarts, the fence-sitters, the wall flowers besides the angry ones, bitter ones, and smile-in-yer-face ones. There was division in the Garden of Eden so how could I possibly think that we ever can overcome division?

The Prolife/Prochoice debate has been going on a long, long while with no real end in sight. Division isn’t coming from the ‘us-against-them’ argument; division is coming from the allies, not the enemy.

While I do know that particular faith doctrines are in grave error, we are not in a prolife ‘faith’ battle, we are in the unborn baby saving war. So while we are forced to hear about a prolifer’s conversion to another ‘faith’, it takes away from what we are all here to do: SAVE THE UNBORN FROM ABORTION DEATH.

PRIDE. The pride of a person’s organized religion choice is the problem. It comes from the top and oozes its way down the slippery slope. Causing division instantly takes your eyes off the task at hand and shifts it to defending yourself.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14, KJV.

I had recently changed my Twitter profile to say that I am ex-Catholic by birth, Born Again Christian by choice. I changed it because I needed to identify myself as a Minister first, prolifer second. Instantly, I was contacted by a fellow Twitter-person (tweeter? lol) about the ‘Rosary of the Unborn’, which I have never heard of. This fellow Twitter-person was trying to openly rebuke my born-again Christian experience with Catholicism, thus causing division and confusion to satisfy their choice of organized religion. Please understand, this is just the tip of the religion-choice prolife division iceberg.

God does not recognize organized religion; He only recognizes who chooses the Blood that was shed for the remission of sins. Have we forgotten that organized religion put Jesus on the Cross?

It isn’t just my opinion of when life begins, but what God says about Life and when it begins and ends. Only He is the author and finisher. God birthed my ministry because He chose me to do so before the foundations of the world (Jeremiah 1:5). And I happen to be a Born Again Christian.
