Contraception in Colorado isn’t as FREE as it used to be.

Ah, Colorado. Called one of the best states to live and work according to the Denver Business Journal. BUT: Expect to pay OUT LOUD for every liberal piece of sham that funds abortion, contraception, and anything ‘cannabis’.

Colorado houses and helps protect one of the most notorious abortionists in the United States; Warren Hern has been protected by the federal government to kill babies UP TO term for tens of thousands of dollars. Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains has a contract to supply aborted fetal tissue to Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and was targeted for their flippant attitude and disregard for federal laws regarding aborted baby organ trafficking. Mark Ferrandino is the first openly gay male legislator in Colorado history and is CEO of Denver Public Schools…yes PUBLIC schools. Legal weed in Colorado has produced a new pseudo homeless society and crime….and now, FREE CONTRACEPTION.

But not so much anymore. Has personal responsibility hit the road? Are women so pathetically entitled that they EXPECT to get FREE birth control paid by taxpayers? Why should Coloradoans pay for women’s sex lives? How is that NOT getting the government into the bedroom of every Coloradoan?

“Over the past seven years, a private foundation donated about $27 million to boost the program, but the grant money expired July 1…….A push to use state taxpayer dollars to continue the program failed in the Republican-led state Senate earlier this year, killed by ideological and fiscal objections.”

This so-called ‘acclaimed program’, Colorado Family Planning Initiativewas privately funded and doing the exact same thing Margaret Sanger accomplished with the American Birth Control League AND Planned Parenthood. This Colorado program was funded by a private anonymous donor for five years, has provided IUD’s and other implants to low-income women AND girls in Colorado since 2009. It is proven that the IUD does NOT keep women from conceiving, the IUD prohibits a newly conceived baby from attaching to the uterine wall to get the food he/she needs to survive and grow. If the baby cannot attach, he/she simply dies from starvation.

“What we have seen over many years is that access to contraception does not equal fewer unintended pregnancies and fewer abortions,” Carrie Gordon Earll, senior director of public policy for the conservative Christian ministry Focus on the Family, said. “Availability of contraception leads to increased sexual activity, which leads to unintended pregnancies and abortions.” Earll said she found it offensive that the state was dispensing IUDs and that teens don’t need to be accompanied by an adult to receive these forms of contraceptives. “It totally undermines parental rights.” Read the rest here.

Liberal Colorado is running the show for the rest of the state that doesn’t really share their ‘vision’ of being forced to decide between new laws for the LGBT, weed, abortion and contraception OR their PROTECTED Constitutional right to Religious Freedom & Liberty, gun rights and freedom of speech.

But is the Republican comeback going to take the tax burden off of road weary Coloradoans? Just look at their comments on pulling back contraception on Facebook today via Denver Post:

1. “This is no right to obtain birth control. I am absolutely for women making that decision to be on birth control but it is not my responsibility or my neighbors to make sure they have access. They have choices in life and those choices are their choices, not mine.”
2. “Planned Parenthood is getting 500 million taxpayer dollars a year. Go there for your “free” birth control. Why do taxpayers have to be on the hook to every single agency that hands out birth control???? The government just keeps making it easier and easier to throw personal responsibility out the window.”
3. “Walmart, $4 a month”
4. “Be responsible and stop begging for other peoples hard earned money”
5. “Where’s the weed tax money going? Hmm…”
6. “It’s not the government’s job to provide your birth control. You can’t pay for it? Stop having sex.”
7. “Call Obama”

NOTABLE MENTION: The BEST comment that has NOTHING to do with birth control is [DRUMROLL]: “Bible says life begins at breath.” Breath???

The REAL & TRUE ‘war on women’ is the one that the abortion czars, Planned Parenthood, and state and federal government made; it steals their virtue, then their sexuality and eventually their children.

French Fries, French Toast….French Abortions?

And I thought the French just hated Americans.

‘The lower house of the French Parliament voted on Friday to fully reimburse all abortions and to make contraception FREE for minors from the age of 15 to 18. France’s national medical insurance pays for abortions for minors and the poor, while other women are reimbursed for up to 80 percent of the procedure’s cost, which can be as much as $580. Contraception is partly reimbursed. The bill now goes to the Senate, where it is likely to pass.’ ~ NYT, 10/26/12 (emphasis added)

SIDENOTE: The French invented the RU-486 in the 80’s. Nice.

Back to Free Abortions for minors in France…

Even Al Jazeera picked up this story. I wonder if that has anything to do with the growing amount of Muslims in Europe.

Interestingly, France is targeting the ‘target’ group of those that abort, teens and preteens. After what they consider to be unwanted pregnancies, the French would rather abort these preborn French citizens rather than have a bunch of single-parent children draining the system. You know, much like what Obamacare will do to us in the U.S.

Minors should have access to contraception and it should be free and anonymous,” said Martine Hatchuel, president of ANCIC. Read that here.

Free contraception and abortion is NOT FREE. Someone’s taxes pay for it. It has been noted for far too long that giving away contraception makes way for more premarital sex which leads to STD’s  and contraception failure….THUS abortions go UP.  Too many women and girls claim they were on some form of contraception when they got pregnant. That is what you call a slippery-slope created by the government.

The reality is that a person or a society cannot get ‘something for nothing’. Even if something appears to be free, there is always a cost to the person or to society as a whole even though that cost may be hidden or distributed.

There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch….or contraception and abortions.

The Myth of Abortion Rights by an abortion rights guy, part 8 of 10.

 8. “Pro-choice activists want to increase the number of abortions.”

He said False… “Pro-choice activists lead the charge in advocating comprehensive sex education, increased access to birth control, condom use, and emergency contraception, all of which reduce the incidence of abortion. Strangely, anti-abortion activists work equally hard to make these options more difficult to access–creating the impression that the anti-abortion movement is more concerned with sexual purity than abortion.”

MYTH BUSTED: The abortion rights guy is not using his self-taught analytical brain. Let me explain…

Would it not be common sense that IF a boy and girl, or man and woman, used contraceptives that it would not only insinuate a proclivity to sexual activity, but would BE the reason FOR sexual activity? Is it not true that there is NO contraceptive that is 100% fail safe?

Follow me now….so, IF people have sex while using contraceptives it would usually be assumed that those people do NOT want to become pregnant which is why they are using contraceptives in the first place? AHA! Then, IF there is not one contraceptive that is 100% effective then that means that it can fail. SO, if a contraceptive fails and a girl/woman becomes pregnant that did not intend to be pregnant, VIOLA…we have liftoff to the abortion clinic.

Now, while you may think that my illustration was tongue-in-cheek, I assure you it was not.

The first reason why there are so many unwanted pregnancies is because the contraceptives that were used either failed or was not used properly. The second reason is because people have sex that are not married and assume NO responsibility for their actions. The third reason is because the liberal media grooms young women and men to believe that they will always have a ‘choice’ in the matter which gives them the idea that they are untouchable, “Just get rid of it”.

America ‘gets rid of it’ 4000 times per day, every day….4000 women will make the decision to intentionally kill their unwanted baby, every day.
