Getting back to EMILY’s List; Johnsen’s confirmation blocked

The List no real woman should be a part of.

Not the ‘A’ list or even the D list…but take serious note of ‘EMILY’s List. It’s not for the faint of heart – these women mean to take over the political scheme of things. It is a prerequisite to be terminal baby hating pro-choicer.

EMILY’s List members are dedicated to building a progressive America by electing pro-choice Democratic women to office. We believe in the power of women as candidates, as contributors, as campaign professionals, and as voters to bring about great change in our country.….helping them build and run effective campaign organizations; and mobilizing women voters to help elect progressive candidates across the nation.

Having been in sales, I know women are key to the sales force because of our perceived nature as being calm, nurturing, non-confrontational, maternal, etc. The actuality is to break down the invisible wall between the customer and the sale; kind of like a ringer. The same holds true to women in politics. Most of them do not want to be known as someone’s wife or mother….they want to be lethal rattlesnakes that will not deter from their path of reckless man hating and baby hating – an EMILY’s Lister. Read here the ‘women’ that EMILY’s List helped to elect and here to see the women they are currently getting contributions for election or reelection. These women mean to undermine what real women are….wives, mothers and grandmothers.

GOP blocked Johnsen, for now.

President Obama’s controversial choice to head the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel, Dawn Johnsen, a law professor at Indiana University, would be in charge of the office that formulates the attorney general’s formal opinions and provides counsel on the biggest and most controversial legal questions such as abortion. Her nomination was blocked, thankfully, before Christmas by the GOP; at least for now.

Johnson compares ‘forced pregnancy’ with slavery.

Some of her resume includes having been Legal Director of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (now NARAL Pro-Choice America) and has also worked at the American Civil Liberties Union Reproductive Freedom Project.

Johnsen claims ‘Fetal rights laws would not only infringe on constitutionally protected liberty and privacy rights of individual women, they would also serve to disadvantage women as women…’ – CWA points out that according to Johnsen, ‘the fetus magically becomes a person when the mother wants to have the baby. Essentially you could have two women, both six months pregnant, one carrying a fetus person protected by the Constitution because she wants to have the child, and the other one carrying a fetus blob of tissue with no rights whatsoever because she doesn’t want to have that baby.’

Also cited by CWA, ‘….VAAPCOM was the Violence Against Abortion Providers Conspiracy investigation that was discovered by Judicial Watch, a watchdog organization, after a Freedom of Information Act request. The documents revealed that the Justice Department under Janet Reno started an investigation in 1994 – while Johnsen was a deputy assistant attorney general – where they pressured the FBI to investigate pro-life organizations and its supporters. Read the CWA article here.

While these women continue the legal slaughter of children, we need to save these tiny babies – one beating heart at a time.

It’s an obamination.

Regarding the Notre Dame Debacle, Leslie Hanks, chief of the Collaborators Project, writes:

“As public awareness grows about President Obama’s invitation to address Notre Dame’s upcoming commencement, South Bend, Ind., is increasingly becoming ground zero in the ongoing abortion war, which has led to nearly 50 million innocent lives having been destroyed. … Were he aware, he could not – in good conscience – continue his strong advocacy of killing pre-born babies in their mother’s wombs.”Obama and Notre Dame

Notre Dame was stupid in what they did in inviting a pro-abortion person, regardless of who he/she is. And Obama is so horribly arrogant to even consider going much less actually showing up.

And regarding his choice for Office of Legal Counsel:

Rep. Steve King, an Iowa Republican, was part of a group of 63 lawmakers to previously ask Obama to withdraw the nomination and he sent his own letter today to further urge him to scrap Johnsen…Dawn Johnsen has drawn strong opposition not only for her ties to the pro-abortion group but for filing a legal paper on its behalf with the Supreme Court equating pregnancy with slavery.

Declaring that Dawn Johnsen “is so against an unborn child’s right-to-live that she has labeled mothers-to-be ‘fetal containers’,” King says she is not the kind of person who should be providing any president with key legal advice.

What about Harold Hongju Koh?

Harold Hongju Koh, a transnationalist, the Yale Law School dean whom Pres. Barack Obama has nominated for the critical position of legal adviser to the State Department……Harold Koh’s nomination is being challenged by conservative Republicans who contend he wants to “subjugate” the U.S. Constitution because he supports voluntary U.S. participation in bodies like the International Criminal Court…..He prefers the transnational-progressive vision of a post-sovereign order in which terror networks and rogue states are to be controlled by the luminous power of the law. Not American law, or even international law, but global law. He also backs abortion.

How does this tie in?

This is where the whole home-grown terrorist/activist DHS train wreck comes in, beside other sundry items such as the new ‘hate crimes’ legislation. Democrats are more and more buying into the global law idea, I would think because the Obama Administration seeks to rule as much of this globe as possible. This is a step-by-step process they are using in promoting, hiring or nominating the type of individuals that really think that they are so far more superiour to the average American Citizen. In other words, we are ignorant and in need of being herded like cattle.

Right now abortion seems so sickening normal, especially in particular parts of the nation, but this whole global law mentality that always stays on the side of the Democrats will make it a hate crime to be pro-life or speak against it.

It’s an obamination.

Another baby killer up for confirmation

Dawn Johnsen…another extreme to an extreme administration. I’m seeing the obvious here…another white woman with hard-nosed pro-abortion tactics. And the arrogance! I’ve never seen such a show of pridefulness and vanity of ones self as it is in the Obama Party.

This new ‘Obama Party’ gets worse. Even this quote from National Review Online, “The most remarkable, or certainly the least remarked on, aspect of Barack Obama’s first 100 days has been the infectious arrogance of his presidency. There’s no denying that this is liberalism’s greatest opportunity for wish fulfillment since at least 1964. But to listen to Democrats, the only check on their ambition is the limit of their imaginations.”  I couldn’t have said it any better. Well, actually I tried to in a recent post.

Anyway, let’s get back to Dawn Johnsen. From the Louisville Courier-Journal; read on:

The Office of Legal Counsel, which decides what government actions are permissible under law, had been relatively obscure until the George W. Bush administration, when it was at the center of the controversy over torture and executive powers….While in her current position at IU’s Maurer School of Law, Johnsen criticized how the office was run under the younger Bush. That criticism, along with her previous work as legal director of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League, generated Republican opposition to her nomination.

One Democrat, Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson, has said he won’t vote for Johnsen but did not say whether he would support a Republican filibuster if there is one….The Senate Judiciary Committee approved her nomination on a party-line vote last month . A vote by the full Senate hasn’t been scheduled.

But, isn’t this interesting….Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter who, until he switched parties yesterday, had been the top Republican on the Judiciary Committee — had said he was considering filibustering Johnsen. Facing re-election next year, Specter had been under pressure from conservatives in his state. But his becoming a Democrat changes the equation.

And then the pathetic –And liberal advocacy groups have been working the grass roots and airwaves for Johnson, including enlisting actress Kathleen Turner to record automated calls that ran in nine states to encourage calls to senators’ offices in favor of Johnsen. Isn’t Kathleen Turner a Canadian?

Criticism, along with her previous work as legal director of the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League (NARAL), generated Republican opposition to her nomination.

So, what is the Office of Legal Counsel?  All executive orders and proclamations proposed to be issued by the President are reviewed by the Office of Legal Counsel for form and legality, as are various other matters that require the President’s formal approval.

Two cents…

With someone so pro-abortion, what can really happen here? With proper smoke and shadow, and this administration is very good at it, anything can be passed and/or approved.

Bottom line is that Johnsen is NOT bipartsan and NOT pro-choice (which is bad enough); she is an extreme left wing Democrat and PRO-abortion with no apologies. This is one more step to the Socialization of America.

And this is only Tuesday.

Sebelius – a political legacy?Instincts honed during formative years in Cincinnati and name recognition obtained by marriage to Gary Sebelius, the politician’s son, fueled a career in Topeka now propelling her to the top job at the U.S. Uh, no…most Kansans want her out of Kansas. She’s killing off future voters one by one. But you can read the rest of her obit here.

And then from Foxnews.com, my new favorite news site:  The Fox network is sticking with its regular schedule over President Barack HUSSEIN Obama (ok, I wrote the HUSSEIN part) this week. The network is turning down the president’s request to show his prime-time news conference on Wednesday. The news conference marksObama’s 100th day in office. Instead of the president, Fox viewers will see an episode of the Tim Roth dramaLie to Me.” It’s the first time a broadcast network has refused Obama’s request. This will be the third prime-time news conference in Obama’s presidency. ABC, CBS and NBC are airing it. Everyone is getting tired of Hail Obama! Hail Obama! Read the story here. Now I wish I had cable.

One News Now reports:  American Values president Gary Bauer says Secretary Napolitano is showing an “unbelievable lack of sophistication and common sense” in directing her office. In addition to defending the now infamous Department of Homeland Security report on “right-wing extremists,” Napolitanohas also drawn fire from conservatives for replacing the word “terrorism” with “man-made disaster.”…..Bauer says Napolitano appeared “clueless” regarding U.S. immigration laws when she told CNN recently that “crossing the border is not a crime per se.”  Then TheHill.com said ‘Napolitano that there was no “realistic hope of containment” that would motivate a border closure.”  Now, now…let’s define clueless: First, she attacks our returning veterans and calls them terrorist wanna-bees, then she goes for anyone WITH A CLUE thatuses their first amendment rights to save the babies, own fire arms or have an opinion and then – when the occasionrises to close the border due to pandemic sickness that is killing people, she drops the ball. Keep letting in illegals! True liberalism at it’s finest! Read the rest here.

Dawn Johnsen? Seriously.Antiabortion-rights advocates are focusing on efforts to block the confirmation of Dawn Johnsen to be head of the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel after seeing little success in attempts to block President Obama’s other nominees….However, at least one conservative Democrat senator, Ben Nelson (D-Neb.), has said he will not support Johnsen because of concerns about her “outspoken pro-choice views on abortion,” including her previous position as legal director at NARAL Pro-Choice America, according to spokesperson Clay Westrope.  If you think Sebelius is bad, keep an eye on Dawn Johnsen…Dangerous. Not only is she a heartless baby killer, but is also a weak link in national security. Read the rest here.

These people are running our country, into the ground! Not one of them knows how to do the job. It seems like Barack HUSSEIN Obama likes others around him that are much like himself; clueless, antagonistic, inexperienced and arrogant.

Global warming! Save the whales!

‘When I see the blood I will pass over you’, says God. Y’all need to get saved before you end the world and kill us off.
