Ohio’s Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act Heard by Senate Today

Clearly this bill is part of a larger problem here in Ohio; it’s the perception that just because the baby isn’t born yet, the baby feels no pain during an abortion. But is it the proabort’s perception that it just doesn’t matter if babies feel pain? Yes.

Senate Bill 127 is a companion to House Bill 117, to protect unborn children at 20 weeks and developed a ‘complication’ into the pregnancy. House Bill 135 protects babies diagnosed with Down Syndrome targeted for abortion. Unborn Down Syndrome diagnosed babies are aborted 92% of the time; that means for every child or adult you see or know of with Down Syndrome, nine others were aborted.

Today, NARAL ProChoice Ohio boasted going to one of the Senate committee meetings today [SB127], the one that debates killing an unborn child because he/she had the audacity to be ill, infirm or have congenital issues. It would seem that NARAL would rather pick on the sick kids, you know…because it protects women’s rights. You read that right. Killing unborn sick babies strengthens women.

“Sen Peggy Lehner responded to criticism from Planned Parenthood and abortion rights advocates today by testifying that fetal surgeries typically use regular anesthetics, implying that doctors are aware the fetus can feel pain.” Read the rest here.

Stephanie Kight of Planned Parenthood actually said out loud that this bill is ‘extreme and unnecessary’, an ‘attack’ on women in Ohio – while their late term babies are tortured and disarticulated. The red biohazard tubs are their final resting place, on their way to an incinerator like common trash.

With a Republican majority in the Ohio House and Senate, these bills should go through easily. The State of Ohio should be a place safe for all babies, born and unborn.

Three tubs of aborted babies.
Three tubs of aborted babies.

#WorldDownSyndromeDAY: The Pressure to Abort, Just in Case.

March 21 [321] is World Down Syndrome Day.  As ‘no exceptions’ prolifers, we are to love them all; the sidewalk is not segregated. We are determined to defeat the scourge of abortion and bring better awareness that all of God’s children are GOD’s, right on the sidewalk of abortion facilities everywhere.

FACT: 92% of diagnosed preborn Down syndrome babies are aborted.

KEEPLIFELEGALIn 1997, I was 35 years old…and surprised with pregnancy I did not expect. I was married, had two sons, my youngest was 5 years old. Since I was ‘old’ regarding child bearing, the doctors tried to prescribe an amniocentesis to check for Down syndrome and other ‘defects’. I gave a resounding NO. I was already post-abortive and knew exactly what it was like to live with it. I said that I do not want to know if something was wrong – I would be his/her mother, no matter what. Doctors are way too quick to give moms the option of abortion – just in case.

FACT: 92% of diagnosed preborn Down syndrome babies are aborted.

All WAY too often women are given the option – over and OVER again – to abort their preborn child because of an presumed affliction. People only want perfection and the path of least resistance. Few give God a chance to be God.

A famous mom of a Down syndrome child is Sarah Palin. She had the test, she and her husband prepared for their child’s arrival, not demise. Palin said she knew abortion was an option but was able to overcome the fear of the unknown to go ahead with the birth.

And then there’s Noah’s Dad. What he is doing for his son Noah and his family is way more than incredible! They have proven that even young women have children with an extra chromosome. And Noah’s Dad has also proven that it’s not just his journey but Noah’s journey as well. We tend to forget that it is the child that has Down Syndrome, not the parents. It’s our job AS A FAMILY to be the family he or she needs.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” explains that WE, not just the wanted or perfect, are HIS [Eph 2:10]…..AND that EVERYONE has a plan that God has given them. Is there any affliction that God cannot overcome? NEVER.

FACT: 92% of diagnosed preborn Down syndrome babies are aborted.

Amniocentesis and diagnostic ultrasound along with many other ‘tests’ are there to determine if a ‘therapeutic’ abortion is an option, not to prepare for the child’s birth. I remember all too well the look on my doctor’s face when I told her no test. Ironically, SHE was pregnant, too.

Protect ALL of our unborn, remember to pray and come to the sidewalk…we need you to help save Down Syndrome….ALL of the babies. Click here to see other resources.

Every 22 seconds.

As you all know, I seldom reblog BUT this is powerful, full of real information.

Gifted With Fragility.

Twenty-one years ago, my mother was at the doctor having some prenatal testing done on her “bun in the oven”—me. The doctors had told her and my father during the last visit that there were some abnormalities with the pregnancy. My parents were told that I, their soon-to-be first born child, would have Down Syndrome.

After delivering the news to my parents, the doctors strongly advised them to have an abortion. Claiming that it would just be easier than dealing with a special needs child for the rest of their lives. My parents refused to even consider it. The doctors asked my parents to at least take time to think about it and to take another test. They agreed to do the test, but guaranteed the doctor that regardless of the results they were not having an abortion.

That afternoon, they were doing an amniocentesis test on my…

I don’t think in pink.

BET YOU DIDN’T KNOW THAT OCTOBER IS DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS MONTH. 92% of unborn children diagnosed with Downs will be aborted….’pink’ can take a break from focusing on women’s breasts, which is part of the sexualization of our girls and women, and refocus ‘pink’ buying power on those that support the lives of our sweet unborn. I, and MANY others are taking a stand this month by NOT BUYING ANYTHING SWATHED IN PINK.

KEEPLIFELEGAL

I HATE PINK. It’s as if the entire world has been bathed in Pepto for the month of October. Football players, refs, coaches and entire stadiums are Pepto-ized. Women in pink t-shirts hand out pamphlets to football fans entering the stadiums. Car dealerships and other businesses are Pepto-ed. But let me tell you how I really feel about it…

Everyone has been touched by cancer whether personally or a family member. But that is not a defense, that is an observation. There is no excuse to inundate the American public with PINK when all other cancers are hardly mentioned and NEVER championed like breast cancer. Isn’t that…odd?

Did you know that September is Prostate Awareness Month? NEITHER DID I…..because I didn’t see a wave of blue prostate cancer ribbons and t-shirts anywhere. According to the Center for Disease Control, prostate cancer affects 152.7 men per 100K, breast cancer affects 121…

Life on the outside

About 40% of all pregnancies are ‘unintended’ – not unwanted. But all things considered, how hard is it for an unborn child to see Life on the outside?

  • 10 – 25% of unborn babies will miscarry.
  • 25% of unborn babies are aborted.

Real statistics are not available because of the privacy laws enacted via Roe v Wade. Truly, many more abortions are taking place and we are paying for them. The back-alley abortion scenario has not stopped; doctors that lost their licenses or have suspended licenses often do abortions in unequipped, dirty offices and are known by word of mouth only. Established abortion ‘doctors’ train these people to do what Gosnell has been doing.

What happened in Philadelphia opened a dialog for women that have been hurt and permanently scarred all over the country and other doctors and clinics that have been associated with Gosnell.

Ignorance is no excuse. Neither is inconvenience or tragedy.

  • 90% of unborn babies ‘diagnosed’ with Down syndrome will be aborted.
  • Less than 1% of abortions are a result of rape.

With a Life in the balance, circumstances are still more important than the beating heart of a baby.

Then I thought about unborn children cryogenically frozen in time, sometimes for years, because of selfish pre-parents. A frozen embryo’s chance of survival either before or after implantation is not good, to say the least:

  • Around 50% of frozen embryos survive thawing.
  • About 2/3 of ‘thawed’ embryos either miscarry or fail to implant.
  • Pre-parents have designated 3 % of all frozen embryos for research.

Abortion stats vary from 3000 to 4000 per day in the United States – just from surgical abortion – not failed IVF’s, RU486 (abortifacients), research…how many unborn children die per day? Only God knows. My mind can’t wrap around that kind of math.
