The God-INTENDED Feminist, Part 2

Being an ordained minister, I know what a God-intended feminist is, there are so many great women to list in this post. The first obvious God-intended feminist is the Prophetess Deborah who was a leader well before there were suffragettes. The next one that comes 2016-07-21 10.46.41ato mind is Esther, she literally put her life on the line to free her people. This is probably my favorite, Bathsheba. She was an adulterer, repentant, and became the mother of Solomon. Even more notably, The Proverbs 31 Woman. I love her best because she really made a mess of her life, cleaned it up, and through God’s Grace became the benchmark that every woman should aspire to be. And that’s just in the Old Testament.

So when I see the ‘new’ feminism, especially in the prolife movement, as a Christian and minister I am offended that any woman would label themselves a ‘new’ feminist. Never has a so-called movement been so clearly not of God, nor of polite society.

Feminism was not meant to be ugly and mean, but here we are. And the prolife movement is no exception to this ugliness. This ‘new’ feminism is very interesting to me, but even more so are the splinter groups that have formed, both prolife and proabort sides. Just to make this clear, I am NOT surprised that progressive feminists are evil and vile. It’s obvious, kind of like daring people to cross them, or whatever. I find it very cartoony and simple, obnoxious and funny. These ‘women’ really believe they speak for all women.

What is more disturbing and reprehensible are the faux-life feminists. I mean seriously. What really separates them from proaborts? Because if I saw them side by side, I’d have a pretty rough time seeing or hearing the difference, and not because of their appearance, but because of their shaming, shunning, filthy language, lack of sensibilities and basic manners.

The capability to be in polite society should set us apart from the animals, but how would anyone know the difference? My way or the highway, throw friends under the bus, cop a lousy attitude.

Then, what happened to the God-intended feminists? Why is the faux-life movement so offended at the real things of God? Why are prolife Christian women judged as being extreme? To that, I say THANK YOU FOR NOTICING. Being set apart for such a time as this is called MINISTRY. Much like the OT and NT God-intended feminists, I trust God, not feminism, to do what God has called me to do, a task taken seriously without apology.

But why are the ‘new’ feminists so mean to the God-intended feminists? Maybe being a Trump Conservative was just too much to deal with. Are we too old to be ‘relevant’? That’s ageism. No preaching on the sidewalk? That’s persecution. No graphic imagery? That’s not telling the whole truth.

Look, it’s real easy to be the popular one when you go out of your way to look and sound the part. But when you refuse to set yourself apart from the opposition, all you’ve done is a whole bunch of nothing, causing confusion, being part of the problem. And that’s too bad. There is so much more for you.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” [Romans 12:2]

FEMINISM: The Protected Class of ‘Lady Parts’?

I was browsing blogs on WP on feminism and came across an interesting view: IF women in the US really believe their ‘rights’ have yet to be established, then perhaps they need to take a look at women in Africa or the Middle East. While the ignorance of women in this country actually have them fighting for their ‘lady parts’ to be a ‘protected class’, women elsewhere aren’t allowed to drive or shop alone or vote or have an opinion or be within a million years of being equal to their own sons or husband. Women in other countries fear DEATH while women in the US whine.

True feminism isn’t about usurping authority over all mankind, it’s about being a WOMAN, the woman that God meant for us to be. Women are already equal to men, so stop the whining. It’s really pathetic to see ‘women’ pushing for their uterus to have its own vote. Are your lady parts ‘separate but equal’ to you? Think about that…are your ‘reproductive rights’ beginning to usurp YOUR autonomy and your own Constitutional rights?

Women sell themselves to an agenda that says they can murder their own future. Abortion rights do not make a woman mightier, abortion makes them cowards. The term ‘reproductive rights’ is like saying jumbo shrimp. If you’re not ‘reproductive’, then why does your uterus need ‘rights’?

Oh, and by the way, half of all abortions murders an unborn woman. No flies on you, eh?

BREAKING NEWS: Your Crock Pot is NOT Oppressing You.

Here we are, at the corner of STUPID and ARE YOU KIDDING ME….again. I mean, what is up with WaPo? Oh…okay, dumb question. I keep looking for intelligent life and all I get is how oppressed I am as a woman and all it would take is the lowly slow cooker to catapult me in total liberation of…being a woman.

So, was the ‘war on women’ victimized with slow cooker oppression?

PRETTY MUCH THE STUPIDEST STORY EVER…I almost feel victimized:

“The history of the slow cooker, whose sales have been booming recently, reflects a still-raging debate about how consumer appliances have changed — and failed to change — the gender balance at home as well as at work. The Crock-Pot did not liberate women from the social stereotype or common burden of being the one responsible for cooking. Rather, the device, along with countless other home appliances like the washing machine and dryer, has simply made it easier for women to take on work outside the home.” Read the rest here

Yes, that’s right…what keeps us from beating our clothes on a rock, having indoor plumbing, up to the lowly slow cooker has put women out into the world to be subjected to, well, everything from divorce, sexual harassment at work, unequal equality to aborting the unplanned to keep our calendar freed up for…you guessed it…working outside of the home for fun and profit. And all that from the slow cooker. What GENIUS figured this out?

And there it is: “One study by Daniele Coen-Pirani, an economist at the University of Pittsburgh, found that home appliances could account for about 40 percent of the increase in work outside the home among married women during the 1960s.” Wowzers…I need to sue Whirlpool and Rival because I am not feeling the warm and fuzzies of feminism.

You’ve come a long way, baby.

Well…..not really….read on: “In 2014, 15% of children had a stay-at-home mother while 0.6% had a stay-at-home father.” Read the rest here.

How did I not see the connection with slow cookers? Women have been sold the Brooklyn Bridge and call it feminism. Whatever you call it, it still stinks. Feminists expect other women to raise their children…if they ‘decide’ to have them.

THAT is what unequal equality feminism buys you…your independence from parenthood, women competing with men, same sex ‘parenting’, multiple divorces all because the Crock Pot freed home-bound women, turning an idealistic suffragist into a something unrecognizable.

And about that Crock Pot…keep it at home. Your family needs you.
