LET FREEDOM RING

The debate continues on the ‘No Federal Funding for Abortion Act’. According to the president, the outcome is already decided.

It’s all so hypocritical of certain people to want to end the lives of unborn so much that they insist the American people pay for it. People like the National Organization FOR Women…think of that for a minute. Women want to kill unborn baby girls that would have been women one day? How can anyone make sense of that? The Human Rights Campaign only cares about humans that they deem worthy, not all humans ironically. Religious organizations such as Catholics for Choice, United Church of Christ, and the United Methodist Church (and many others, unfortunately) all support abortion rights even when the Word of God says otherwise.

Prochoicers chuckle at how Prolifers are forced to pay for birth control and abortions for ‘poor women’. They’re poor alright…poor in making the decision to have sex and expect no consequences.

I don’t know one woman that had her abortion paid for by the government…not one. It’s always been a means to keep Democrats in office. The Supreme Court made abortion law and holds America hostage with it.

The Supreme Court continually seeks to upend, not uphold our Constitution. In the words of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:

“It manifests no disrespect for the Constitution to note that the framers were gentlemen of their time, and therefore had a distinctly limited vision of those who counted among ‘We the People’. Not until the adoption of the post-Civil War Fourteenth Amendment did the word ‘equal’, in relation to the stature of the individuals, even make an appearance in the Constitution. But the equal dignity of all persons is nonetheless a vital part of our constitutional legacy, even if the culture of the framers held them back from fully perceiving that universal ideal. We can best celebrate that legacy by continuing to strive to form ‘a more perfect Union’ for ourselves and the generations to come.” The Words We Live By; Linda R. Monk

Created equal? Ms. Ginsburg has always been an advocate for abortion. ‘We’ are not created equal in her sight. Clearly Ms. Ginsburg has quite an inflated ego assuming that our founding framers were limited in their view of the law of the land and her view to be much more enlightened. She was a volunteer lawyer for the ACLU, co-founded the Women’s Rights Project and was nominated by President Clinton.

Regarding the ruling of the Hyde Amendment, Ms. Ginsburg said, “Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of. So that Roe was going to be then set up for Medicaid funding for abortion.” Apparently Ms. Ginsburg thinks along the line of Margaret Sanger.

Further: “A statement like this should not be taken out of context. The context surrounding this passage is a simplistic, pro-choice rant. Abortion, in Ginsburg’s view, is an essential part of sexual equality, thus ending all ethical debate. ‘There will never be a woman of means without choice anymore. That just seems to be so obvious,’ she explains. ‘So we have a policy that affects only poor women, and it can never be otherwise, and I don’t know why this hasn’t been said more often.’ Of pro-lifers, she declares, ‘They’re fighting a losing battle’ – which must come as discouraging news to litigants in future abortion cases that come before the high court.’” Michael Gerson; Washington Post

Ms. Ginsburg and others like her have acidic opinions that control us as a nation. As you know, we cannot vote them in or out, they are appointed by a biased regime. The Justices on the Supreme Court are there no to uphold law, they are there to rewrite it to their satisfaction. They see only problems with our Constitution. That is very dangerous for all American citizens, born and unborn.

A step in the right direction

Recently, I had a bit of a snit with other Prolifers regarding their reasoning to not stand behind every little bit of legislation that has even just a tiny breath of hope of changing current abortion law. The last thing we need is division because of vanity.

We need to get back to the basics.

“We’re getting to ask the real question — does abortion take the life of a child? … If it does, then those of us sitting here in the chambers of freedom live in the midst of the greatest human genocide in the history of humanity,” Rep. Trent Franks (R-Ariz.) said. (3/4/11, The Hill)

Be aware of what the legislation actually is and what it covers.

“H.R. 3 does not ban abortion. It also does not restrict abortions, or abortion coverage in healthcare plans, as long as those abortions or plans use only private or state funds,” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas).

Know who the sponsors are and what their agenda is.

This will always be a Republican vs. Democrat fight. Abortion will never be about unborn children dying every day in the thousands, this will always be about agenda and who it benefits. Sadly, the basic truths are being shuffled and labeled as ‘religious’ in nature. As Rep. Trent said, “Does abortion take the life of a child?”

Ah, there’s that question: When does Life begin?

Debate all you want about when Life begins, but the reality is this: Men and women are given what it takes to make a human baby. The humble beginning as a fertilized egg is only a prelude to what that will become, a human baby…not a puppy, not a goldfish, not a pelican. A human. The fact that this is debatable is proof of how depraved the human race has become:

Welcome to America! The land where unborn baby killing is legal but Save the Plankton.

Life, the Government & stupid people with computers.

Killers shouldn’t have guns and flagrantly stupid people should not own a computer. The opinions of people that have no idea what they are talking about but know how to surf the net to get a clue – is criminal, at the very least dangerous.

Again and again I read these half-baked articles about how the Hyde Amendment took care of federal funding of abortion. If that were true, we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Democrats continue to drive with blinders on assuming that if they don’t see it, it does not exist.

But come on, the government needs to stay out of our private lives when it comes to abortion??? If it weren’t for the GOVERNMENT we wouldn’t be publicly debating abortion 38 years later.

And if the government was staying out of our private lives, there would be not Title X funding for family planning and ‘reproductive health care’. In 2007, Title X was allocated $283 MILLION while Medicaid contributed $1.3 BILLION to family planning. Funny, it all comes out of the same pot, OUR TAX DOLLARS.

“My question is: What are you guys thinking? For a modest $327 million a year, the Title X program improves health, saves lives, empowers women, combats poverty and saves the government nearly four times what it costs.” (Cecile Richards, PPFA)

SERIOUSLY??? Cecile, where exactly do you think your fat salary and funding for PPFA AND Title X is coming from?? How exactly does this save the government money if it is coming from the government? And if this combats poverty, how is it the dollar amount goes up every year? I’d say that poverty is hitting us tax payers that are required to pay for people to have sex and abort.

I’d say the government is already in my business.

Theology SUPPORTS when Life begins; theology teaches it. This is basic Science but science seldom teaches it. WHY? Because the government is in our business:

“I get it that some opponents consider abortion, even some forms of contraception, to be murder. To some, you might as well kill a newborn as use a pill that prevents a zygote — a fertilized egg smaller than a grain of salt — from attaching to the uterus. But that’s theology, not science, and it shouldn’t dictate public policy.” (Bloomberg Opinion)

If this beloved government is for women and women’s health, then there’s some splainin’ to do:

“A teenager came forward in Ohio to blow the whistle on how a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Cincinnati had ignored her cries for help after her father — who had been molesting her for three years from the age of 13 — forced her to have an abortion. She told an abortion staffer, who was required by state law to report suspected abuse to police. But the women’s-health provider so beloved by liberals on Capitol Hill did nothing.” (Michelle Malkin, NRO)

Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

Life on the outside

About 40% of all pregnancies are ‘unintended’ – not unwanted. But all things considered, how hard is it for an unborn child to see Life on the outside?

  • 10 – 25% of unborn babies will miscarry.
  • 25% of unborn babies are aborted.

Real statistics are not available because of the privacy laws enacted via Roe v Wade. Truly, many more abortions are taking place and we are paying for them. The back-alley abortion scenario has not stopped; doctors that lost their licenses or have suspended licenses often do abortions in unequipped, dirty offices and are known by word of mouth only. Established abortion ‘doctors’ train these people to do what Gosnell has been doing.

What happened in Philadelphia opened a dialog for women that have been hurt and permanently scarred all over the country and other doctors and clinics that have been associated with Gosnell.

Ignorance is no excuse. Neither is inconvenience or tragedy.

  • 90% of unborn babies ‘diagnosed’ with Down syndrome will be aborted.
  • Less than 1% of abortions are a result of rape.

With a Life in the balance, circumstances are still more important than the beating heart of a baby.

Then I thought about unborn children cryogenically frozen in time, sometimes for years, because of selfish pre-parents. A frozen embryo’s chance of survival either before or after implantation is not good, to say the least:

  • Around 50% of frozen embryos survive thawing.
  • About 2/3 of ‘thawed’ embryos either miscarry or fail to implant.
  • Pre-parents have designated 3 % of all frozen embryos for research.

Abortion stats vary from 3000 to 4000 per day in the United States – just from surgical abortion – not failed IVF’s, RU486 (abortifacients), research…how many unborn children die per day? Only God knows. My mind can’t wrap around that kind of math.

Back to a ProLife America

Since this last November, Americans chose a ProLife America. We voted for our CHOICE to be a ProLife country. This has NAF, NARAL, PPFA (Planned Parenthood) and a host of others in a pinch and they know it. As I scan online newspapers daily I see Letters to the Editor from the likes of all of them all the time. They are running scared and are trying their level best to stay forefront for a woman’s right to choose murder for their unborn child. AND THEY NEED MONEY.

In PPFA’s own words, they received over $363 million dollars from us, the tax payer, to pay for abortions and contraceptives. They espoused their relationship with Barack Obama to gain further ground and get more funds and even expand clinics nation-wide. To their chagrin, the tables have turned. Their fat salaries that WE PAY are in jeopardy.

Ohio’s favorite son, Speaker of the House John Boehner, is on track to stop federal funding of abortions and particularly stop PPFA (and other providers) from getting one more red cent from taxpaying Americans. H.R. 3 says, and concisely I might add, that in no way should anyone in these United States pay for such a horrendous thing.

The ‘No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act’ is to right a listing ship that Obama tried to sink when he rescinded the Mexico City Policy the day after he took office. Since Roe v. Wade, every President has tackled the abortion issue the day after they take office. Abortion is addressed before jobs, the economy or the military.

DON’T TELL ME ABORTION ISN’T THE FIRST PRIORITY for every President.

Now it’s a priority to make it what it really is: MURDER.
