I would say, as I’m sure you can SEE in the photo provided, that intervening on another person’s behalf – who is seemingly POWERLESS – for their civil right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is POWERFUL, BIBLICAL, & CORRECT. I would also say GOOD THING that people DID interpose on behalf of people to ensure their civil rights even when others SHAMED THEM PUBLICLY.
Imagine if there was no interposition, no real rescue, of persons who were hated for no real reason other than the color of their skin.
When innocent people are in danger or persecuted, or perhaps hated for no reason, do you shame their rescuers? When innocent people are about to be killed for no other reason than their religion, do you shame their rescuers?
This same interposition dynamic that prompted the civil rights movement is the same exact persecution that PROABORT LAW has STOPPED for the unborn. Black Lives Matter (et al) is PROTECTED to literally stop freeway traffic for hours and to pillage, which brings about lawlessness that broke many other laws. But think about how FEW people were arrested or tried for having interposed because of their beliefs, and may not have saved one life for it. Was it necessary for BLM to do their lawless deeds? If you say YES, then you have to agree that the particular dynamic used should be available to all.
The law did not stop the civil rights movement, then why should it stop the rescue movement? Both movements believe civil rights to be Constitutional – only one is PROTECTED. In order to repeal FACE, abortion has to be shown for what it actually is rather than pseudo ‘healthcare’. Rescuers do not impede a person’s healthcare, rescuers save lives.
But I ask you this: When an innocent child – who has no voice other than their heartbeat – is about to be killed, DO YOU SHAME THEIR RESCUERS???
My dear faux-life sheeple and their leaders: If you prefer to not rescue, THEN DON’T RESCUE. It isn’t for everyone, although it should be. But, rather than SHAME people for saving lives, lift them up in prayer for having the fortitude to do the very hard thing, sacrificing ALL, to save even just one unborn child.
Yes, we should preach. PREACH PREACH PREACH on the sidewalk when moms are about to kill their child. Moms need to KNOW that their child has been known since the very foundations of the world by God and that their sin can be forgiven if they REPENT.
Yes, we should use graphic imagery. Not giving the moms the ENTIRE truth is LYING.
Yes, we should always love. Changing their hearts NOW may saves lives of other children later. One seed planted is a forest is grown.
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins so that He might RESCUE us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,” [Gal 1:3-4, NASB]
We are continuing our Bible Study regarding Biblical prolife ministry and rescues. Click here to read the previous post. And so that there is no mistake of who we are and what we do, please read part of our Mission Statement:
KeepLifeLegal is a part of the Prolife Movement basing our missions in prolife ministry using biblical standards, not denominational or religious man-made dogma. We base this ministry on the Word of God only, through correct discernment of Scripture. We are ordained ministers/preachers/pastors; we are determined to show how public outreach and rescuing is biblical, a work of action and love. As the Book of Acts has proven and continues to demonstrate, it is a book and work without end, until the Gospel has been preached to all.
The Bible says: “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us,” [1Cor 5:5-7].
The new passive aggressive prolife movement is prideful and religious, neither of which is biblical or sanctified. Leaders of these cult-like prolife groups are putting their ill-conceived schemes in front of biblical standards, those that Jesus taught, the Apostles continued with, even to this day. While the arrogance of a few has tarnished the prolife message, it is those called by God to do this Ministry which will promote LIFE and love.
God is not impressed with this new passive aggressive prolife movement. The biggest mistake they have made is not having the mind of Christ: “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For ‘who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him’?But we have the mind of Christ,” [1Cor 2:14-16].
To understand 1Cor 2:14-16 better, realize that the city of Corinth in that day was like the Las Vegas of today; idolatrous, pagan, carnal, and had temples with ‘consecrated’ prostitutes. The Apostle Paul planted a church squarely in the middle of that mire knowing it would have it’s challenges because of the city and the sin raging within it. Corinth needed the Gospel message, it needed the Mind of Christ, it needed a Savior.
After the church in Corinth was established, it was soon showing signs of the leaven leaking back in trying to confuse and pull back the new believers to their former debauched lives. The church in Corinth misunderstood the Gospel message, much like this new prolife movement has done with the Gospel message of prolife ministry to save the lost and dying at all costs. Prolife ministry in the beginning was Christ-centered and selfless. Today, the new passive aggressive prolifers are dressed up as if it’s Easter Sunday, not Resurrection Day. They do not have the mind of Christ, but has many followers, board members and donors.
The new passive aggressive prolife movement has left the Gospel message “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love,” [Rev 2:4]. And I say that wondering if they ever knew their first love. I follow the evidence, look for results, seeing none within this new prolife movement. There is no Gospel, no Jesus, no LIFE or love.
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal,”[1Cor 13:1].
Love took our Savior to the Cross. Love put the Apostles in prison multiple times for doing the unlawful. Out of fear and doubt, love is not where this new passive aggressive prolife movement is today. Rather, they are a ‘safe place’ because that’s where fear wants YOU.
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works,”[2Cor 11:13-15].
A Bible study regarding the Historical Prolife Rescue Movement and its foundation in Scripture.
Being Esther in the Prolife Movement: She broke the law and broke tradition to save her people. NOTHING could prevent the coming Messiah.
This study shows the commonality of Esther being in a position of power to free her people from annihilation and people in a Prolife position of power freeing the unborn from abortion annihilation.
In other words, Esther advocated for the voiceless and hopeless as an activist. She saw a need and acted upon it. She knew this was against the law, and that she could lose her own life trying to save others.
Prolife leaders sometimes use their position to combat the evil of abortion while other prolife leaders gravitate from the inherent Word of God to make their position one that is motivated by pride and uses principles that are unbiblical.
Esther understood LIFE is a fundamental truth, not a concept thought up by man. This truth is from the mouth and heart of God: “You shall not murder,” Exodus 20:13, NKJV. The Prolife Movement started out doing a great thing but splintered into groups for power rather than sharing the Gospel and saving babies.
Esther saved her own life by first saving her people. Isn’t that really how prolife ministry works?
King Ahasuerus had particular rules and laws to follow, even Esther had to follow them. What is key in the story of Esther is that she did what was lawful to do the unlawful. In other words, Esther had to step out of bounds and take a chance to save the Jews.
“Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!”[Es 4:16]
Today, we have Roe v Wade. We have laws. Unjust they are, but laws just the same. No one, not one person in any power position can totally eradicate abortion law yet. Roe has seen to that. That being said, we have to play by the rules of the game that Roe set up. Little by little, laws are getting better, some babies are spared, some moms have become moms because of diligent work through elected officials, judges.
During this time in modern history, there is legal abortion. Millions of lives lost to the Haman of our time, the Abortion Cartel and the Abortion Party: “If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who do the work, to bring it into the king’s treasuries,” [Es 3:9].
Esther rescued the Jews. She did not have the law on her side. But she did it. Esther stepped out in faith knowing it was against the law.
Being Jesus in the Prolife Movement: Jesus came to fulfill the law, not keep it.
Today, the bulk of the Prolife Movement is slothful, compliant, engineered, but gets big donations. They rely on pride and status. They rely on passivity. They rely on your fear. But worse of all, they shame those who step out in faith to do the unthinkable: RESCUE.
Most Prolife groups fail to recognize that people in the Bible had to break the law to save lives and further the Gospel. In the Book of Esther, Esther and her people had to survive because she is part of the lineage of Jesus Christ. In the Book of Acts, the Apostles and the Church had to break the law to be able to preach the Gospel and say the name of Jesus publicly. Were they arrested? Yes. They paid their debt and continued to do whatever it took to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature,” [Mark 16:15].
The prime real estate that the Passive Prolife Leader covets is the sidewalk. That means they want no one else there to determine a plan of action, which is ironic considering they have no actual ‘action’. So many groups complain about real people sacrificing everything to save unborn life, all I could possibly surmise from this revelation is that inaction equals more followers, much like the seeker sensitive church today.
Modern day rescues may be the very last defense an innocent child has. The Bible has clearly stated that law had to be broken to further the Gospel, Christ died for it! People in communist countries break the law every single day because they have chosen Christianity over the ‘religion’ their law forces them to recognize.
Then, is the ‘defense of necessity’ a reality? Of course it is! We have to use the tools we are given, and that may mean real sacrifice to save lives. The Bible has never said ‘do this thing but you’re on your own’. Not one time. Rescuers pray, fast and pray some more before doing what is unlawful, but lawful in the eyes of God.
The hypocrisy of Prolife Leaders regarding not breaking the law is astounding. Can you imagine telling Jesus not to heal or minister on the Sabbath? That was the law of that time. The Sanhedrin even considered the INTENT to break the law, followed Jesus questioning Him:
“Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent,” Mark 1-6.
But Jesus would not be silent or obedient to them, and posed this to the Pharisees:
“And Jesus, answering, spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” But they kept silent. And He took him and healed him, and let him go. Then He answered them, saying, “Which of you, having a donkey or an ox that has fallen into a pit, will not immediately pull him out on the Sabbath day?” And they could not answer Him regarding these things,” Luke 14:3-6.
Scripture has shown that breaking the law can be a ‘defense of necessity’ and love.
Then, isn’t it the objective of the Prolife Movement to tell the broken system that it is needs help? Just as the example of the donkey in the well, whether it be lawful or not, rescuing the donkey [Luke 14:3-6] is the right thing to do, the Christian thing to do. And if a donkey should be saved even if the ‘work’ broke the law, shouldn’t unborn children made in the very image of God also be rescued and protected as much as this donkey? If the Prolife Leaders today say that breaking the law impedes the years of work in the Prolife Movement, make no mistake: They certainly mean their own work, or inaction, that has shown little progress other than raising funding for their group and gaining ‘followers’.
And lastly, the conjecture is quite clear, yes Jesus said to love your neighbor. He is love. He loves us all! So when a Passive Prolifer wants to taut ‘Jesus is love’, remind them He was nailed to a cross because of His love for us….are they willing to do something as audacious? Jesus prayed and asked that ‘this cup’ be taken from him, sweat literal blood, and He knew this is the Will of the Father [Luke 22:41-44]. Rescuers do not rescue flippantly, they pray and fast, and do the Will of the Father. No, rescuers are not Jesus, be we are all called to be as Christ-like as we can throughout our lives as Christians. The unborn is our ‘neighbor’ and our charge [Luke 10:27].
Being Peter & Paul in the Prolife Movement Arise, and GO!
Inaction never equals action. A fellow activist recently said, “If you can’t show from scripture rescue is sin, you have no authority to condemn it.” I believe I have shown that the myth of ‘love only’ is passive and without action, which is not the will of God. Not all are called to rescue, but everyone is called to pray and fast for those who will step out in faith and action.
Think of it this way: Your church may sponsor missionaries to go to other countries you are not comfortable going to. They promise to help the poor and preach the Gospel, do good works, maybe build a school or church, with love and action. I am quite sure that you did not shame them for doing this just because they aren’t doing it your way. This is what the Modern Prolife Leaders do, shame and disparage those who will get dirty in the mire of unregulated unborn baby killing to save even just one life.
Peter, Paul and the Early Church in the Book of Acts proves that we are a Church in motion, continuing in the Way, not wavering, even though we may suffer. Christ made the way, Christians are called to “Arise, and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do,” [Acts 9:6].
The Early Church in other cities needed help, “Come over to Macedonia and help us,” [Acts 16:9]. Isn’t this what the sidewalk is always crying out for, making a Macedonian call to other believers who will help with the poor in spirit and those led to the slaughter [Prov 24:11]? The vision was given to the Apostle Paul, and he ‘sought to go…..concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the Gospel to them,” [Acts 16:10]. Many people in the Modern Prolife Movement have heard the voice of God, grieving Him with their apathetic inaction because they were shamed by prideful Prolife Leaders, calling them potential ‘criminals’.
Nearly every single thing the Early Church did was against the law. The Apostles endured many beatings and much jail time to do what God told them to do. It was not a dirge to suffer, rather “rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ,” [Acts 5:41-42]. Lawbreakers! Even in modern rescues, brave men and women know that arrest and jail may happen, they are prepared spiritually and mentally, knowing that the unborn babies who may have died that day were saved.
“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,” [James 1:2].
However, the Early Church had their share of people who stood back in inaction while others dared all, “Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly,” [Acts 5:13]. The Prolife Leaders of today do exactly that, watching others in action while they collect admiration and followers and donations. Their disdain for action is remarkable.
As Christians, we are to obey the law of the land except when it violates the Word of God. Inaction equals action? The Book of Acts alone should show the reader that it is a literal book of action, with love and the Gospel, “We ought to obey God rather than man,” [Acts 5:29].
In conclusion, this ‘New Prolife Movement is not of God. These rescue mockers use their pride and vanity to do what they do, with inaction. There are so many crimes against the unborn they are responsible for, too many to list here. God is grieved, He is insulted by this hypocrisy and heresy.
So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard,” [Acts 4:18-20].
Arise, and go! Read the Book of Acts and get ready!
We have a some recycled faux-life actors, although the first one below aren’t so new, just a new video to make their case for prolonging the abortion agenda as ‘prolifers’. These women are seasoned actors using YOUR donations to make expensive videos, websites, conferences, etc. I’ve personally had MANY conversations with EX-SAFL people who are ashamed of this tactic while Abby [ATTWN] scavenges for ex-abortion workers to make her non-point of hating rescuing and graphic imagery:
“So yet again Abby Johnson (And Then There Were None) and Lauren Muzyka (Sidewalk Advocates for Life) are up to their pitiful passive bullying tricks shaming real prolifers and anti-abortion activists for participating in rescues. Your video is full of outright lies, only opinions that do not hold true to the real prolife/rescue movement. You worry about upsetting abortion workers??? WHAT??? SERIOUSLY??? Have you both lost your minds??? THEY KILL BABIES!!! This, at the very LEAST un-biblical. In fact, we challenge you both to actually READ your Bible, particularly the Book of Acts and see real ministry in action….everything the Apostles did to further the Gospel and save lives WAS AGAINST THE LAW.”
It’s so pitiful that you would go through such lengths and all kinds of donor $$$$$ to make this kind of propaganda trash targeting REAL activists. What you are both afraid of is not being prolife a-list celebs anymore. YOU DON’T OWN THE SIDEWALK. Abby and Lauren seem to be preaching a ‘new’ kind of faux life gospel, a different Jesus, but the reality is they are the Pharisees that look down upon people getting their hands dirty doing the work of the Apostles. RESCUES WORK, SHAMERS DON’T.
They are both acting like passive middle school bullies, and in the middle of it all, real activists and ministers are not participating on the sidewalk because of their moronic diatribe and out loud shaming. Even our local 40 DFL vigil is WAY down on participation this Spring Campaign thanks to Abby and Lauren. Nice….you had ONE job. ONE. But if you’d like to see their expensive donor bought video shaming rescue activists, click here. The name of the video made me laugh out loud. And remember when donations went down the last time you all shamed rescuers? Good times…good times.
And the second sheeple-laced ‘new’ prolife movement is another ‘whole life’ wrapped in millennial paper. Again with this junk! This ‘new’ movement has eleven pillars….ELEVEN. They want to find ‘middle ground’ in the prolife community. Here, let me help: THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND. And they don’t think that Roe should be overturned…WHAT??? Instead, they want a cultural battle within the prolife movement because they think they magically have the answer we do not. The right answer is to do whatever it takes to stop abortion and abortions:
“It’s true that abortion can be physically and psychologically harmful to a woman. But what the pro-life movement fails to note is that in many cases, NOT choosing abortion will hurt women more. They’ll be kicked out of homes and schools, fired from their jobs, shunned by their communities. Lacking medical coverage, they will sink into crushing debt. Lacking funds, they can’t take time off work in the event of a high-risk pregnancy. Infant and maternal mortality rates are an issue here. Often, they can barely even feed the children they have. They may be stuck in abusive marriages, and be afraid to bring a baby into a violent home.” Read the rest here.
Well, that was asinine. Suppose the baby being dismembered and pulled out in pieces doesn’t hurt quite as much?
Abortion mills shut down because of better laws, the money dries up, and real activists show up and do what God wills them to do. That’s it. No agenda, no bottom line, no fundraisers, no faux-life a-listers…just the Gospel and the people willing to preach it and do it.
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Eph 5:11
FIRST OF ALL: All this whining about ‘civil disobedience’ is actually about PUBLIC disobedience…of the new prolife movement, or the new sacred cow protected by mean girls on Facebook.
The sidewalk is owned by NO ONE. BUT if you’re a prolifer without a group and you approach the sidewalk, like a gunslinger in a western…you will quickly KNOW who OWNS the sidewalk. The New Prolife Movement doesn’t mind discouraging prolifers if they don’t bow to their ‘system’ in place. The First Amendment is a distant memory when you deal with the sacred cow of the new prolife movement. Typical symptoms are: Disengagement, then disenfranchised, and finally totally disarmed from our first love of saving lives, helping women, and preaching the Gospel. We have literally devoid ourselves of the truth of who we are and what we do as prolifers – the new sacred cow professing only partial truths, throwing their weight around.
Who are we, what have we become, how did we get here?
Being followers rather than individuals has brought us where we are as a movement. We’ve allowed the tail to wag the dog, Jesus has left the building, and we are spent and empty. THEN THE RESCUE HAPPENED.
YES we needed a REFRESHING! And just like that, a reprise of the rescue movement breathed a huge needed breath of fresh air into a displaced expanse of VOID. Certain ‘prolife’ leaders have shamed the very thing that saves lives and makes sense, conveniently forgetting how they got here. Even worse, saying rescuing did not save lives.
Groups like 40 Days for Life, Sidewalk Advocates for Life, and And Then There Were None, Prolife Wife, have voiced their opinions of what ‘proper’ prolife counseling, etiquette and presence is. I dare say that the people one particular group chose to review and poll regarding ‘approaching’ abortion minded women does not make up the majority of post-abortive and pre-abortive women. It’s embarrassing, I mean seriously…polling abortion workers??? It was like asking speeders how they want to be pulled over. Long story short, THEY DON’T.
However, can’t say that the FB Live Q&A’s, conferences, fund raisers, and the eventual epic social media temper tantrums of the new sacred cow hasn’t been entertaining.
So, as for me and my house, and on the sidewalk, we will serve the LORD because He comes first – not second or third: “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,” [Acts 3:19]. Preach the Gospel. Read the Book of Acts and get ready! This new movement has forgotten it’s first love, Jesus.
The bratty mean girls of the prolife movement need to read their Bible, not Yelp reviews or Facebook comments. SO that being said, here is a ‘review’ of what rescues mean to a multiple abortive woman:
“I cannot even FATHOM what it would have been like to see the Calvary blocking the doors of the killing place or in the waiting room with a fragrant red rose and a loving heart. WHAT IF rescuers had been there for my post-abortive mom? Not only would I have my brother or sister, but also my own child that would be 39 this year. You dumped all over part of the movement that began it all, including YOUR group [I’m done calling your GROUP a ministry because there ain’t no evidence of Jesus being in it when you shame].” More in the video below.
Look, don’t want to rescue? THEN DON’T. Just don’t shame those who are putting their futures on the line to save unborn children. And just back off.
