All things NOT being equal…
As the Supreme Court goes, so does our original rights and liberties; then, all things being equal, the simplest solution is usually the preferred conclusion….except in government. I am not philosophical but I am interested in theories that put us where we are; after all, how can we defeat the monster if you don’t know its weaknesses and strategies?
Okham’s Razor, a philosophical kind of principle is explained: ‘A rule in science and philosophy stating that entities should not be multiplied needlessly. This rule is interpreted to mean that the simplest of two or more competing theories is preferable and that an explanation for unknown phenomena should first be attempted in terms of what is already known…….stating that in explaining something assumptions must not be needlessly multiplied – also called the principle of economy’.
‘One should proceed to simpler theories until simplicity can be traded for greater explanatory power.’ Hmm.
How dismayed the Liberal Left must be; after all, over-emphasizing and over-rationalizing and over-inflating and over-theorizing over-bloated self-appointed Progressive Democrats have made this mess and it takes the simplest thing of all to make this out of control merry-go-round to stop: 1) Don’t spend what you don’t & won’t have, 2) Stop placating women and illegals, 3) Let God back into the US instead of Islam. Okham’s Razor….it’s kind of like the ‘easy’ button. The simplest solution is always the most viable.
But, as the pulpit goes, so does the nation. Again, applying Okham’s Razor to this debacle shows that the simplicity of the Gospel and its tenets are totally ignored while embracing a psychology driven social drivel called ‘moral relativism’. And somehow we are surprised at the state our country is in.
Consequently, while the Church got murky with a social gospel, so did the American we used to know as Conservative embrace liberal socialism. Then the simplest answer to this socialist query is to bring back our basic rights and principles under the United States Constitution that was founded upon CLEAR Christian ethics, doctrine and ideology.
BUT we have a Supreme Court that continues to chip away at the Constitution while a weak-wristed pulpit takes the finished work of Jesus Christ AND the Holy Spirit out of Churches. Put that all together and you have our religious liberties such as traditional marriage and right to LIFE being taken away with much flair and fortitude.

These are 3 separate articles originally written/posted Oct. 2009 which is STILL the subject of the hour. America continues to be bullied to accept an agenda that is clearly unbiblical and unnatural and has deliberately put your moral and religious conscience under the bus.
STAND UP FOR TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE AND NATURAL FAMILY.
American Family Association says it best: Everywhere hate crimes laws have gone into effect, they have been quickly used to intimidate, silence and punish people of faith who express deeply held religious objections to the normalization of homosexuality…Such laws not only punish officially disapproved speech and thought, they create two tiers of victims. Under hate crimes laws, some victims get more protections than others, which violate the fundamental American principle of equality under the law.
Obama will deliver the Human Rights (Campaign) event’s speech tomorrow night (10/10/09) at HRC’s 13th annual national dinner. Gay activists want the president to say he will oppose measures intended to compromise LGBT rights:
“We are honored to share this night with President Obama, who has called upon our nation to embrace LGBT people as brothers and sisters,” said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese. “It is fitting that he will speak to our community on the night that we pay tribute to his friend and mentor Senator Edward Kennedy, who knew that as president, Barack Obama would take on the unfinished business of this nation – equal rights for the LGBT community, and for every person who believes in liberty and justice for all.”
How can there be liberty and justice for all when we as Christians are NOT included in any protection from the government through any legislation from this new administration? How do you reconcile this with the American Public which is 77% Christian? This cannot be justified or defensible.
It is not the White House’s job to make everyone happy – their responsibility is to make sure all Americans follow the law to the letter, not make it up as they go along. Anything else is a poor attempt at trying to control and bind the hands of God by allowing the Gay Agenda in public schools, churches and the government.
Defense of Marriage Act – HR3396: (1996) To define and protect the institution of marriage; `In determining the meaning of any Act of Congress, or of any ruling, regulation, or interpretation of the various administrative bureaus and agencies of the United States, the word `marriage’ means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, and the word `spouse’ refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife.’
The Human Rights Campaign called on the president to repeal DOMA, saying ‘it is time for you to use your leadership to translate these principles into meaningful action.’ House Democrats introduced legislation last month that would overturn DOMA. And of course, the Gay Agenda has their version, or fiction, of ‘marriage’ – the Respect for Marriage Act. Sounds nice, eh? Sounds so normal and almost soccer mom-ish, doesn’t it? Well, it’s Respect for SAME SEX Marriage – only.
The bill (Respect for Marriage Act, HR 3567) would repeal all three sections of DOMA – which federally defined marriage as a union between a man and a woman – including section 1, which is the name; section 2, which instructs states not to recognize same-sex marriages performed in other states; and section 3, which prohibits the federal government from recognizing legally performed same-sex marriages.
Essentially what the gay community wants, according to the RMA and Rep. Barney Frank, is recognition of their legal marriage in a state where same sex marriage is not legal in order to gain access to federal and state money and spousal benefits – along with defining legal marriage with ‘persons’, not a man and woman.
However, as I had reported just last week, a ‘couple’ moved to Texas and filed for divorce. Legally, same sex marriage is not recognized in Texas which would make their request null and void. Of course, they are taking steps to repeal instead of going back to the state where they got ‘married’ to get divorced.
Mark 10:6-9 says, in the words of Jesus Christ – v6 ‘But from the beginning of the creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ v7 ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh’; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. v9 Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.’ –NKJV-
Jesus emphasizes that marriage, as a permanent relationship between a man and a woman, goes back to God’s purpose at the beginning of creation. His purpose being that married couples bear children; Genesis 1:27-28. Nowhere in Scripture was artificial insemination or IVF mentioned to populate the Earth for same sex couples. The gay community can do all they want to overturn traditional marriage, and there’s a chance that it may come to pass…but know this: God does not change; He will never change His mind about the sin of homosexuality or that marriage is between a man and woman so that they may ‘be fruitful and multiply to replenish the Earth’.
Man + Woman = Children. Period.
Here is another baby step to losing all of our personal freedoms and right to privacy as a free American citizen.
The truth is that the Gay Agenda is trying to scare straight American Christians in NOT voting against gay marriage, adoption or foster parenting. According to the The Boston Globe in 2006, the campaign has attracted controversy and opponents are reported as saying that “it’s real purpose is to intimidate”. Likewise in 2009 in The Seattle Times, Larry Stickney of the group Protect Marriage Washington reportedly accused the homosexual lobby of adopting “hostile, undemocratic, intimidating tactics“. As well in 2009 Associated Press reported via abc40 news that the Arkansas Family Council may ask lawmakers to block the release of this information on the grounds that it violated the rights to privacy of those who signed the petitions.
KnowThyNeighbor, the gay rights organization that drew national attention for posting online the names of over half a million anti-gay petition signers in Massachusetts and Florida, announced today that it has posted the names of over 83,000 Arkansas citizens who signed an anti-gay adoption and foster care petition in 2008. The names are accessible in a searchable database.
KnowThyNeighbor.org’s efforts in Arkansas led to exposing the signature of Wal-Mart CEO Mike Duke as one of the people who signed the petition to put an anti-gay adoption ban on the ballot in Arkansas.
From the New York Times: Opponents of releasing the names, led by Protect Marriage Washington, the group behind the referendum, say gay rights groups are threatening free speech by intimidating petition signers. James Bopp Jr., the lead lawyer for the group, filed affidavits from people who said they felt threatened for taking their position on the issue. Larry Stickney, the campaign manager of Protect Marriage Washington, has also complained of feeling threatened, he said.
And heterosexual conservative Christians hate and are judgmental? The nature of HATE is from the LGBT’s thinking that publishing names of those that signed petitions against the Gay Agenda in any facet will make us stop campaigning against what is a crime against nature, against God, against natural family and Godly marriage.
As in Massachusetts and Florida, KnowThyNeighbor.org expects that many petition signers will be confronted about their actions as their names are discovered on the website by family members, friends, coworkers, customers, and acquaintances.
You should feel threatened by those that want to embarrass Christians (or think they are) for their Godly convictions. In fact, I would call this an act of terrorism against a sect of people that believe in the Word of God as it is written, Holy Spirit inspired, to the world. This is clearly a HATE CRIME against those that believed that their signature and decision was a private matter.
Back to the future….
All this being said, the Gay Agenda is exactly that, an AGENDA. This country was founded upon Christian principles which never included same-sex marriage on any level within the Constitution. The progressive liberal agenda has always sought to make Christians an endangered species. What is incredible to me is how seemingly conservative people are caving to this horrific agenda simply because they ‘know’ someone that claims to be afflicted. The affliction goes all the way back to either parents or friends allowing an unnatural behavior to be not just accepted but applauded. We have regressed to the point of being unrecognizable as a nation.
And probably what is the most loathsome issue is allowing same-sex couples or homosexuals to foster, adopt, artificially inseminate, or IVF to have children. These children were never asked if they wanted a mommy AND daddy. A recent story said, “A western Ohio man is jailed on charges that he raped three adopted children and allowed other men to have sex with a boy.”
God help us all.
EQUALITY? The Debatable Inflatable ‘VOTE FOR ME’ Rob Portman
Timing is everything, eh? SO-CALLED ‘marriage equality’ is going to be heard in the Supreme Court and since the debatable inflatable Rob Portman (R-Oh) is suddenly a parent of a gay son and a Republican, his ‘opinion’ will be absorbed like a dirty kitchen sponge. But was his timing not so good with Romney? Everyone found it very curious that Ryan was chosen instead of Mr. Portman…I suppose he was ‘outed’. Mr. Portman caved and may have committed political hara-kiri with supporting same-sex marriage for his gay son. And interestingly Mr. Portman doesn’t have that much support with the LGBT because of the obvious: the LGBT wanted his (everyone’s) political approval without being forced out by his kid. It is kind of a slimy way of trying to gain votes and endorsements.
And since another inflatable, ‘VOTE FOR ME’ Claire McCaskill (D-Mo), can’t be left out of anything, she is also suddenly for same-sex marriage…color me surprised. She says her views have changed over time…considering she was a moderate Democrat about a week ago, if find that to be a bit slimy to get votes.
SIDE NOTE: Personally, I think the Duggars should have a front row seat at the Supreme Court this week.
AND WE HAVE A RINGER: “Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. not only has a cousin who is a lesbian but also that she will be in the courtroom this week with the partner she longs to marry.” That seems quite confrontational, or what most would call a bully.
Which brings me to this: According to a CNN/ORC International survey, 57% say they have a family member or close friend who is gay or lesbian…not that I believe much that CNN says, but the truth is that at least 50% of us has someone in our family that is there to bully us to accept their sexual preference and lifestyle…including mine.
Now with this, our Tenth Amendment is getting yet another smack-down from special interests. Our Constitution is quite explicit: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” What part of this does the Supreme Court NOT UNDERSTAND? They have no right or reason to hear this at all since the States already have ruled on same-sex marriage or will in the near future. While I do not agree at all with same-sex marriage, it is a state issue to be taken up by the citizens of that State.
Let the games begin – and don’t be surprised when everything you’ve ever worked for will be considered a hate crime and you can’t find a job that doesn’t force you take diversity training in spite of your religious values. Personally, I believe that the LGBT needs to create a fund to cover the costs of diversity training that they force corporations to provide and for us to take. Takers? ANYONE?
We don’t need Big Brother…we need GOD:

Mr. Portman and Ms. McCaskill, your ‘approval’ will only get you a better seat in the Senate.
EQUALITY? I think the Constitution is about to be confetti….AGAIN.
Since the Supreme Court has agreed to hear arguments regarding same-sex marriage, it should be important to Mr. & Mrs. American what is at stake and why this has gotten this far. If same-sex marriage becomes federal law, we will be forced to accept anything LGBT related regardless of our moral or Christian conscience and rights.
This precious creation that God designed from His own image is being lambasted and forsaken as ‘equality’ in the Supreme Court. Here at KeepLifeLegal, we are have been busy promoting Life…Life that has been ordained and created by a Holy God that has a distinct plan for it. But Life cannot continue nor procreate if homosexual marriage becomes the law of the land.
Life began with one man and one woman, “So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth’,” Genesis 1:27-28.
Dear Mr. & Mrs. American, where do you think your money goes? Do you know the money trail of the companies you frequent? It should be NO surprise that public and private businesses/corporations give money to or espouse the LGBT lifestyle and abortion rights. The one in the news today is Starbucks – they have said out loud that your business is not wanted unless you agree with the LGBT Agenda. And of course that’s the tip of the iceberg. You’ll be shocked at the local companies you’ve trusted for years that have been supporting the LGBT Agenda while acting like a traditional family-friendly business.
The actual community of LGBT is about 3-4% of the American population…but it’s their family, friends, co-workers, and local government that makes up far more of whom actually vote for gay rights. Simply said, just one LGBT family member can sway hundreds of people just in friends and family alone and their VOTE even if they do not personally agree with the gay lifestyle or agenda. They are more concerned about offending one homosexual but not concerned at all of what that one act of affirmation can do to the population as a whole.
Mr. & Mrs. American, you are about to lose your rights within traditional marriage.
But don’t look so surprised – you should have seen this coming with the gay agenda infecting public schools and the Church. Did you really believe that affirming the homosexual lifestyle will go without consequence? Right now, they are on the steps of the Supreme Court to make gay marriage federal law. AND much like Roe v. Wade, people will accept gay marriage just like they did with abortion because it won’t personally affect them – or at least they think it won’t.
Let’s revisit the Chick-fil-A boycott…clearly the LGBT took a potshot at a Christian corporation to try to change their philosophy and business practices. The LGBT is OFFENDED by ANYONE taking a moral or Christian stance against their agenda. Is boycotting the answer? That is up to you. But I will tell you that we do our best to NOT to buy products or services from companies that have turned away from traditional natural family values. Forcing Godly, moral people to accept this agenda is yet another way to take God out of our lives and replace Him with moral evolution. God has not changed nor will He. It is up to Christian America to take our country back:
- The world is assumed to have evolved to not just allow but force the Gay Agenda – which is only 3-4% of the population – to make everyone else, regardless of our Godly morality, accept a lifestyle and choice to the point of changing federal laws.
- It is assumed that if your Godly conscience does not agree with the Gay Agenda, then you have committed a hate crime. Read that here.
- When gay marriage is finally federal law, we will be forced to ‘accept’ what is not of God and is against our moral compass that WAS the law of the land since time began (get your Bible and read GENESIS). It will also be indoctrinated in public schools so that children will be taught what is not only morally wrong but against your conscience as a parent.
- You will be forced to accept the Gay Agenda in the workplace to the point of being forced to take classes or workshops. These tests and classes will make the workforce learn how to speak to gay people differently so that they are not offended, which is what Ford and Chevrolet are already putting in place in management and sales within dealerships nationwide regardless of YOUR morality. A lot of Corporate America has succumbed already. A moral person exercising their conscience will be fired for not bending to the Gay Agenda. Don’t pass? NO JOB.
- The Gay Agenda has forced most states to allow homosexuals to adopt and foster children. Most times these kids are too young to know that they have a choice to be brought up in a Godless home or in a Godly home that has one man and one woman as parents. Do you think that a gay couple will take their adopted child to a ‘pride’ event or church? Which lifestyle do you think will be tolerated in their home.
