Not all Catholics are created equal, as Evangelicals, atheists and agnostics think. In the 2008 Presidential election, 54% of Catholics voted for Obama. THAT IS AN ABSURDITY. The general public only knows what it sees…rouge nuns that espouse socialism which equals a Liberal Agenda.

Let me disclaim, as I always do: As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I was once Catholic. I have a ‘working knowledge’ of the basics of Catholicism but I am smart enough to say that I don’t know everything. My mom’s side of the family is the Catholic side but not one of them were practicing Catholics but loved to say that they are so. Even that being so, it shows how unequipped some people are and love to throw their religion around like a Frisbee.

Even I knew what the role of nuns was – they are servants. They give up everything to pray, give and serve. Cloistered nuns stay out of society to serve while other nuns are out there serving with works like providing meals, nursing the sick and helping the poor. While I do not agree with Catholicism, I love that these nuns are willing to get their hands dirty. The general public thinks that all nuns are in black robes all the time – not true.

But I gotta ask…what is up with these rogue nuns assuming the role of political antagonist?

On their site it says, “The new law [March 2010 of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act] promotes quality healthcare that is more accessible, affordable, universal and pro-life.” Help me out, my catholic friends, but how is Obamacare prolife? And not only that, but Obamacare squashes our right to religious freedom…so I have to ask…

Why is the Vatican putting up with rogue nuns that are going outside of basic Catholic teaching to so-called political social justice and universalism?

As I perused their site, Networklobby.org (self-described progressive national Catholic social justice lobby), I have to admit my ignorance in knowing that this group actually existed; come to find out, they’ve been around for 40 years (same amount of time as Roe…?). As I mentioned, I did not know that such a thing CAN ever exist within the Catholic realm even in the United States. However, they quietly promote abortion and homosexuality when lobbying with progressive Liberals, even though the nuns call it ‘peacemaking’.

These rogue nuns push for so-called social justice AND socialism, are shoving Catholics and others in front of the oncoming Obama freight train this November. I absolutely understand ministering to the least of these (Matthew 25:31-46), but these women are budding up to the White House which the gently promote.

Side note: I have to say that I was a bit spooked when they thought it was okay to build the mosque on Ground Zero. It’ll take me a minute to digest that one.

My dear Catholic friends, please don’t fall for this farce…it’s meant to ‘peacefully’ re-elect Obama and change your mind against basic Catholic teachings.

Your defense is that you have no real defense for abortion ‘rights’; all you have is liberal rhetoric.

Even the Bible says, ‘That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.”

But when all else fails, harass us with old news like a lonely old woman with nothing else better to do:

The social justice in their abortion stance is clearly man-made, not biblical or godly in nature. Miss Schaper’s apathetic attitude with abortion is still riding the ‘70’s wave of man-hating feminism. Her ‘church’ is one of the few that just can’t let go of a bygone era of bra burning; their approach to abortion ‘rights’ is antiquated and pitiable:

“As an adult, and a woman, I know my rage is hurting me as much as it is hurting my opponents…….As a pastor, the only explanation I can give for the immoral stupidity of the current proposal is here: Some people on the religious right really hate their own sexuality. That almost makes me sad enough to care about them. Just almost, as I still need the defense of anger. Anger is not the opposite of love. Indifference is.”

Women like Schaper, and there are many of them IN ORGANIZED MINISTRY, need to look inward and understand that this world does NOT actually revolve around them and their ‘reproductive rights’ and their ‘apoplectic’ observation of men around them. Men have rights, children have rights, the elderly have rights, and the most innocent of all – unborn children have rights. Hardcore feminists have spent theirs.

Get over it.
