SIDEWALK CHRONICLES: The baby is safe…for now.

My husband received a telephone call on the evening of 9/25, a coworker was asking him about what to say to a woman he knows who wants to abort a 19 week old unborn baby. The caller mentioned that the mom already talked with the abortion facility and was familiar with the current law here – up to 22 weeks. She had an ultrasound but was still considering abortion. Her life has been havoc, to say the least. But you also have to remember that women who come to abort are there because they believe they have exhausted all hope. NOTHING can be further from the truth. With God, ALL things are possible:

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible,” [Matthew 19:26].

I posted a prayer request to get the prayer soldiers intercessing for her and her unborn baby right away. And of course I took the phone from my husband and preceded to tell the caller what actually happens during a late-term abortion.

KEEPLIFELEGAL

He listened intently and seemed quite shocked that a late-term abortion is really that cruel and brutal. I instructed him to look at videos online regarding the actual procedure. After that, he was intent on saving this baby.

KEEPLIFELEGALWHAT GREAT NEWS! We were not on the sidewalk for this beautiful mom and her unborn child – but nevertheless, God used us and a child was saved! We need to be prolife intercessors no matter where we are! That day we were used by God to give direction and hope in what seems to be a hopeless and very dangerous situation.

We are not forsaken, neither are the unborn:

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” [Deut 31:6]

Thus far, this situation has a happy ending. God has a plan for the child who was saved from disarticulation and dismemberment of late-term abortion, [GRAPHIC VIDEO].

Abortion is like a bridge that leads to nowhere; it looks like the right way to go but it isn’t finished – the outcome will be frightening and deadly.

Trust God…your baby will thank you for it, literally.

The Ghosts of Sidewalk Ministry

Divisiveness is what kills a great outreach. It’s the best excuse that Pastors use to stay away from an uncomfortable ministry at the abortion facilities – AND laziness. So, this prompted me to tell the short story of how this Evangelical Christian was moved to get into Prolife Ministry by Catholics and others.

KEEPLIFELEGAL
PROLIFE WARRIORS

Many so-called prolife ministries want to be so divisive that they step over the dead aborted babies to get to the prolifer that’s ‘doing it wrong’. These people use a Bible with pages missing to further their agenda. This has been ongoing, nothing new…but it definitely needs to stop, particularly when violence erupts from this cult. Read that here.

How did you get into prolife ministry? For me, I had three life changing moments:

  1. I saw a man, alone, carrying a huge crucifix pacing in front of what looked like an office building. I realized it was an abortion facility. I had to face my own abortion, I had to face God and repent, and I finally met that faithful witness years later. [Thanks to Richard Mahoney]
  2. I went to my first 40 Days for Life rally. Bryan Kemper of Stand True [youth director of Priests for Life] was the speaker, I was scared to death to face this publicly, I was asked to join the 40 Days leadership team a year later. [Thanks to the 40 Days team]
  3. I was asked to testify for the Heartbeat Bill. I told my post abortive testimony in both committees at the Ohio Statehouse for the Heartbeat Bill. My story was now part of public record for everyone to hear, no going back. Testifying for this bill catapulted me into full time prolife ministry. [Thanks to Janet Porter and my husband]
PROLIFE WARRIORS
PROLIFE WARRIORS

In these three points there was no mention of a church helping me or the prolife movement in any way. We received some well wishes and monetary support, but no one showed up on the sidewalk more than once. This is when we realized that this prolife ministry is a remnant within the remnant and on our own.

Too many people in the evangelical world rests on their blessed assurance saying that prolife ministry is a ‘catholic thing’, too political and/or controversial. On this side of the pulpit, we call it LAZY and selective.

KEEPLIFELEGALProlife ministry is a GOSPEL thing, it is bringing the message of Jesus Christ to the street and the sidewalk. Pastors need to come out from behind the pulpit and do the work that Jesus did: Taking the message of hope to the lost, the hopeless, and the afflicted TO the street and TO the sidewalk. Evangelicals are called judgmental by many, but it’s the evangelical Pastors who have already judged prolife ministry as an offense to their church. ABORTION IS AN OFFENSE! And Pastors that do nothing offends ME and has deemed unborn life to be not as important as themselves or their coffers.

In the area in which we live and minister, over 800K people and HUNDREDS of churches surround ONE ABORTION FACILITY and still hardly anyone comes while some claim to be prolife.

A great example: a woman at the Heartbeat Bill Prayer Rally said she is part of a 8000 member mega church in the Columbus area and said to me that they don’t do anything prolife outside of the church property lines, and for that she feels they are lacking. She’s right. And I am the first person that will tell you I appreciate outreaches that supply clothes, formula and diapers…but they hide behind a huge pulpit rather than stepping out to the two abortion facilities within their city limits to spread the GOSPEL which saves LIVES

I am so thankful that God directed me to this ministry which has TOTALLY offended my family – but the Bible says that in these last days this would happen because:

“v48 For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more……v51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. v52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three.v 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” Luke 12:48, 12:51-53

Abortion and prolife ministry is an offense to the Church rather than a ministry opportunity to changes lives.

My dear prolife friends and ministers who continue to be in this fight for LIFE, be ENCOURAGED! We are few in number but great in the eyes of God!

“v19 Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; v20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. v21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

40 Days for LIFE: Fall 2014

KEEPLIFELEGALSeptember 24th starts the 2014 Fall Campaign for 40 Days for Life. Awaken the conscience of YOUR community!

What’s YOUR intention? Are you post-abortive? Were you ever abortion-minded? Have you lost a sibling or family member to abortion? Then 40 Days for Life is for you! This is an opportune time to come and peacefully pray, grieve, and be a life-minded witness to abortion-minded women and men! 40 Days for Life vigils changes lives and save lives!

I don’t know how to do this! No problem, let the Word of God guide you to doing what we are called to do as Christians [Rom 12:9-16]:

v9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
v10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
v11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; v12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
v13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
v14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
v15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
v16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

From the 40 Days site:

“40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program:

  • Prayer and fasting
  • Peaceful vigil
  • Community outreach

40 Days for Life“40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion.”

Cooperation is KEY. Everyone is welcome: Evangelicals, Protestants, Catholics, Jews, everyone! This is not about ecumenicism, it is COOPERATION to share the sidewalk with other LIFE-minded people who seek an end to abortion. I know there are some people will not stand shoulder to shoulder on the sidewalk and that’s too bad; we should never let personal agenda keep us from being a faithful witness on the sidewalk to save lives.KEEPLIFELEGAL

During a 40 Days for Life campaign, you may come as an individual or with a church group to pray as you wish TO END ABORTION. We are all there for the same thing, to save our unborn from abortion death.

You may see KeepLifeLegal’s Statement of Faith here and Purpose & Vision here.

This is what you SHOULD NOT DO:

  • Yell at anyone; the pre-abortive, coercers, abortionists, passers-by, etc.
  • Persecute other faithful witnesses; This is a cooperation on the sidewalk
  • Be combative for any reason; if anyone is combative with each other on the sidewalk, it does not show our heart toward saving the unborn. It is confusing to the pre-abortive.

This is what you SHOULD DO:

  • Purpose to be at the sidewalk as often as you can
  • Be a prayerful faithful witness
  • Did I say SHOW UP? We really want to see you there!

It has been proven that when people show up at abortion facilities, they CLOSE. These facilities can’t handle the constant prayerful vigil for LIFE. It proves what they do is wrong and needs to stop.

Toleration & Apathy is NOT our friend…and it KILLS.

I’ve written often of the hatred of human life from those that consider toleration to be more important than what God has created. We are a society of drones rather than children of God. I happened upon a blog that said:

“…we have lost our hatred of death. We have become indifferent to it. We have come to assume it is natural, normal, no big deal. Why don’t we despise it or reject it as hideous anymore? Have we forgotten that we were created by God to live, not to die?”

I would go further with how our society EXPECTS death rather than fighting for it. It is a sad, sad world where we band together for homeless dogs and cats but allow abortion facilities to exterminate humans.

This apathetic ‘live and let die’ attitude feeds on people who have not sold out to God. Our love for each other has shifted to empowering the entitled classes and an uninterested Church. We feed the ego rather than the hungry; we succumb to the wiles of the culture of death while we shout an occasional ‘hallelujah’.

This writer/minister knows that we may not see an end to this extermination until Jesus comes again; we are aware of the scriptures and the expected end. Then why continue, you ask…simple: Every soul has value to God and He expects us to ‘Go into ALL the world and preach the Gospel TO EVERY CREATURE’. We are His workmanship, so are they…born AND unborn.

This ‘culture of death’ that we reside in – shouldn’t live in – seeks the souls of us, not just the physical parts of us. Not one person is expendable for any reason, not one soul is accidental.

How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7

The Essence of Christianity | BreakPoint

There are no orphans of God, we are all accounted for. Jesus said, “But even the hairs of your head are all numbered,” Luke 12:7.

The Essence of Christianity

By: Rolley Haggard Published: August 29, 2014 5:24 PM

The apostle James wrote that the essence of Christianity—that which epitomizes “pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father”—is to care for “orphans and widows in their distress.” (James 1:27, NASB)

EvenBabiesKnowBabies aborted are “orphans” in the truest sense of the word, for they have been abandoned, by those entrusted to care for them, to the uttermost, even to death. The sheer number who have been led to slaughter with virtually no opposition even by churches who call themselves pro-life ought to give us pause before we conclude what we have been practicing is, in the sight of God, “pure and undefiled religion.”

As to where James came up with his definition of Christianity—divine inspiration, to be sure. But it also appears he knew his Bible:

Deuteronomy 10:18: He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing.

Exodus 22:22: You shall not afflict any widow or orphan.

Deuteronomy 10:18: He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing.

Deuteronomy 14:29: The Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance among you, and the alien, the orphan and the widow who are in your town, shall come and eat and be satisfied, in order that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

Deuteronomy 16:1: And you shall rejoice before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter and your male and female servants and the Levite who is in your town, and the stranger and the orphan and the widow who are in your midst, in the place where the Lord your God chooses to establish His name.

Deuteronomy 16:14: And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter and your male and female servants and the Levite and the stranger and the orphan and the widow who are in your towns.

Deuteronomy 24:17: You shall not pervert the justice due an alien or an orphan, nor take a widow’s garment in pledge.

Deuteronomy 24:19: When you reap your harvest in your field and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the alien, for the orphan, and for the widow, in order that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Deuteronomy 24:20: When you beat your olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again; it shall be for the alien, for the orphan, and for the widow.

Deuteronomy 24:21: When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not go over it again; it shall be for the alien, for the orphan, and for the widow.

Deuteronomy 26:12: When you have finished paying all the tithe of your increase in the third year, the year of tithing, then you shall give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the orphan and to the widow, that they may eat in your towns and be satisfied.

Deuteronomy 26:13: You shall say before the Lord your God, “I have removed the sacred portion from my house, and also have given it to the Levite and the alien, the orphan and the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me; I have not transgressed or forgotten any of Your commandments.”

Deuteronomy 27:19: “Cursed is he who distorts the justice due an alien, orphan, and widow.” And all the people shall say, “Amen.”

Psalm 10:14: You have seen it, for You have beheld mischief and vexation to take it into Your hand. The unfortunate commits himself to You; You have been the helper of the orphan.

Psalm 10:17-18: O Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their heart, You will incline Your ear to vindicate the orphan and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror.

Psalm 94:4-6: All who do wickedness vaunt themselves. They crush Your people, O Lord, and afflict Your heritage. They slay the widow and the stranger and murder the orphans.

Isaiah 1:17: Learn to do good; seek justice, reprove the ruthless, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.

Isaiah 1:23: Your rulers are rebels and companions of thieves; everyone loves a bribe and chases after rewards. They do not defend the orphan, nor does the widow’s plea come before them.

Isaiah 10:1-2: Woe to those who enact evil statutes and to those who constantly record unjust decisions, so as to deprive the needy of justice and rob the poor of My people of their rights, so that widows may be their spoil and that they may plunder the orphans.

Jeremiah 5:28: “They are fat, they are sleek, they also excel in deeds of wickedness; they do not plead the cause, the cause of the orphan, that they may prosper; and they do not defend the rights of the poor.”

Jeremiah 7:6-7: If you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor walk after other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

Jeremiah 22:3: Thus says the Lord, “Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor. Also do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place.”

Jeremiah 49:11: “Leave your orphans behind, I will keep them alive; and let your widows trust in Me.”

Lamentations 5:3: We have become orphans without a father, our mothers are like widows.

Hosea 14:3: “Assyria will not save us, we will not ride on horses; nor will we say again, ‘Our god,’ to the work of our hands; for in You the orphan finds mercy.”

Zechariah 7:10: “And do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.”

Malachi 3:5: “Then I will draw near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers and against the adulterers and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wage earner in his wages, the widow and the orphan, and those who turn aside the alien and do not fear Me,” says the Lord of hosts.

John 14:18: “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”

Even so, Abortion Facilities Still CLOSE During the ProChoice Storm.

There are no winners; women are still being held to a lesser standard and babies are still dying. BUT…abortion facilities are STILL CLOSING.

Fight for LIFEThe closure count is continuing to rise even through the vigilant prochoice storm that they create. As mentioned in a recent post, most prolifers understand that we have to work within the law and the Constitution to end abortion. We cannot close all facilities, but we can implement law that will protect women and the unborn. And interestingly, these new laws across the country DO protect abortionists and their workers by holding them to the same standard as  any other physician who performs surgeries.

In Texas, parts of the new prolife laws were thrown out, which is really funny considering it won’t hold up to the impending appeal. However, telling the McAllen and El Paso facilities that they DO NOT have to obtain a transfer agreement is DANGEROUS. In fact, I ENCOURAGE every physician in those regions that are held BY LAW to keep hospital privileges to go straight to the Statehouse in Austin and ask why abortionists get a pass and DEMAND an answer. It is an ABOMINATION of the law to presume the laws are for everyone except baby killers. standwithunborntexaswomen

Even PBS has once again parted with reality and jumped on the radical abortion bandwagon with promoting POV’s ‘After Tiller‘. They see nothing wrong in telling the stories of up-to-term abortionists. You’ll only see what they want you to see, not who really does this evil deed. Women pay 25K and MORE to kill their nearly term infants and call it ‘compassionate‘.

Then, whose fight is it anyway? The resolution the abortion czars use is old, tried and true: The Class War.

Women, POOR women [as depicted by the abortion lobby] are being used and abused by the abortion czars to sell abortion and profit from abortion, especially to women who can come up with 25K to kill their nearly term unborn baby. As prolifers push FORWARD to shut down abortion facilities, poor women are classified as who will be affected by any new abortion or prolife laws. It’s bad enough that government entitlements, a pathetic economy and absent parents are creating this sect of pre-abortive women AND men, but to say it out loud? This is how federal government gets away with calling abortion ‘healthcare’ by creating abortion customers.

My colleagues and I wonder if the term ‘poor women‘ was taken out of every impending prochoice/proabort law, discussion, debate or arbitration, if it would hold water with their contemporaries and peers. And then take out the notion or word ‘minority’ and you’ll see them scramble….because THEN you’ll see them run like a cockroaches after the kitchen light is turned on.

SIDEWALK CHRONICLES: Consistent Peaceful Vigil is Closing Ohio Surgical Abortion Facilities

In the last SEVEN DAYS, three of Ohio’s abortion facilities [Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland] will no longer offer or perform surgical abortions. At this time it is not clear if these same facilities will offer the RU-486.

Clearly, keeping constant, consistent peaceful vigils closes abortion facilities.

News of facilities closing encourages us to do more, not just where we witness but all over the country. Witnessing at other facilities is both edifying and educational; there is always room for improvement and you may have something to share as well.

Next month, both Texas and Louisiana will have to comply with new prolife laws; both states have filed cases against the new impending laws in order to keep killing. If the law is upheld, many of these facilities will close.

Soldiers, keep up the great work and remember that God knows the results, don’t lose heart, NEVER stop what you’ve been called to do!

August 28, 2014 | Right to Life of Greater Cincinnati

Cleveland Surgi-Center: Right to Life of Northeast Ohio reports that Cleveland Surgi-Center, one of Cleveland’s three abortion facilities, has closed and moved to a new location in Warrensville Heights.

According to Ohio Right to Life, Surgi-Center’s new location:

  • Is not doing surgical abortions
  • Serves as the first appointment center for those considering abortion and sends them to Akron Women’s Medical Group for the abortion
  • The first appointment costs $225.
  • The Center claims it is not doing RU-486 chemical abortions but are doing injections, what are understood to be methotrexate*

Though chemical abortions will continue at this abortion mill, we share in rejoicing in the significant effect on surgical abortions in Cleveland, currently the method of choice for most abortions in Ohio.

Columbus Complete Healthcare for Women: Columbus Right to Life reports that Complete Healthcare for Women that abortionists Mervyn & Milroy Samuel will no longer be performing abortions after this week.  The abortion facility’s Ambulatory Surgical Facility license is to expire August 31st and does not appear to be in renewal.

Greater Columbus Right to Life staff confirmed this information with an employee at Complete Healthcare for Women, and the abortionists’ website no longer indicates “pregnancy termination” in the list of services. Columbus Right to Life also notes that this change appears to be voluntary on the part of the abortionists, rather than result of enforcement action by the Ohio Department of Health.

*Methotrexate is used in treatment of cancer, autoimmune diseases, ectopic pregnancy, and for the induction of medical abortions.

STOP THE VIOLENCE: Bridging the GAP between violence & peace in your city.

This one simple ‘law’ that goes unnoticed is that violence begets violence. Violence happens within the home, in the street and in the womb. The news covers what they want to acknowledge as violence but do they cover it all?

Innocent children are murdered every day…about 4000 times per day in the United States. Abortion is the most violent act that a child will suffer, and make no mistake: They suffer a real murder without the ability to defend themselves at the hand of their own family. See the real-time stats here.

Then, how can major cities lament their violence against children while they continue to allow the most heinous act against kids?

In New Orleans, a recent editorial headline says, “Life shouldn’t be so dangerous for children in New Orleans.” TRUTH. Life shouldn’t be so dangerous for children anywhere. But inner city New Orleanians and Louisianians are killing their unborn children with disarticulation and dismemberment and wonder why there is violence in their own communities?

The number of REPORTED abortions in Louisiana [2010] was 8,872. Recent legislation was passed in Louisiana to stop most of the violence against unborn children and will begin by September 1. At one time, the abortion industry was much larger and stronger in Louisiana, but forthright legislators have been doing much to curtail it as much as possible.

According to the Kaiser Foundation, 58% of abortions in Louisiana kill unborn black babies and 39% unborn white babies [3% 'other']. Abortion targets the inner cities of America to line their pockets with blood money of poor minority women.

The future site of the new Planned Parenthood mega killing center is on Claiborne Avenue in the heart of New Orleans which was by design;  this is not incidental. This on a very well planned and convenient bus line that brings women in from all over the city. If Planned Parenthood ‘can’ build this regional abortion center, violence in the city will be astronomical. If murder in the womb is acceptable, then how can murder in the streets be unacceptable?

Violence BEGETS violence.

“Even if abortion did lower crime by culling out “unwanted” children (a conclusion derived from flawed statistics), this effect would be greatly outweighed by the rise in crime associated with the greater incidence of single-parent families that also follows from abortion liberalization. In short, more abortions have brought more crime.” Read the rest here.

Violence begets violence, two abortion facilities kills New Orleanians and no one notices. If a city or community wants to stop the violence, they need to start at the abortion facilities. And Planned Parenthood is trying to open up a regional killing center right in the heart of it all.

Life is precious, not an afterthought.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.” [Matthew 5:38-42]

KEEPLIFELEGAL

SIDEWALK CHRONICLES: It was my mom’s choice.

It was a rainy day on the sidewalk, a great day for ducks. While the weather can keep prolifers from coming to the sidewalk, abortion does not stop. Women and their coercers come from the tri-state area and sometimes MUCH further to hide – KILL – a family secret.

2014-08-22 10.01.54Fulton County, Georgia [Atlanta area] is about 500 miles from the facility. When a new, full size SUV pulled in with an out of state plate, most times it’s assumed that they are students at one of the local universities. Not this time. This was a family who brought this little girl – appeared to be no more than 14 years old – to a facility 500 miles from home in Georgia.

The girl’s mother was not just angry, but MEAN. When we tried to peacefully talk with them, the little girl looked back at us to listen about keeping her precious child but her mother forcibly pushed her into the facility. Not at tap, roughly SHOVED her minor daughter into a place where her tiny unborn baby was about to die at the hand of her own mother.

Then you have to ask….WHO’S CHOICE WAS THIS?

Since I’ve personally been through nearly this exact scenario, I know whose choice it was – NOT MINE. My mother paid an abortionist to kill her own grandchild, my child.

2014-08-15 09.45.20This so-called CHOICE we are supposed to have is truly not ours at all; it’s the CHOICE of family, friends, the federal government and society to say you can’t have your baby. It’s been proven over and over again that women don’t want to abort; they feel coerced into the decision from everyone else that does not have to deal with the loss of the child for the rest of the mom’s life.

It’s easy to have an opinion about CHOICE, but what CHOICE are you really giving pregnant women OTHER than abortion?

KEEPLIFELEGAL

I asked a young woman who was protesting us if instead of abortion, would she and her friends help pay the pregnant woman’s rent or gas to get to work or buy groceries so she can keep her child. SILENCE….absolute deadening SILENCE.

CHOICE only teaches and purports one thing ABORTION, nothing else. And when you see prochoice protesters, ask them what OTHER CHOICE they espouse. I’m pretty sure you’ll hear SILENCE because they can’t give an answer. Prochoicers love to tell us to adopt all the babies but where are they when pregnant women need real help? I know where….on the steps of the statehouse saying that THEIR RIGHTS are much more important and constitutional than the RIGHT TO LIFE and a woman’s RIGHT to have her baby.

After all, shouldn’t SOCIAL JUSTICE begin in the WOMB?

KEEPLIFELEGAL

SIDEWALK CHRONICLES: “How can my friend get past her abortion?”

THAT is probably the number one question I am most often asked, after “Don’t you people have a job?” People are funny…

Yesterday, a woman said that her friend confessed to having an abortion many, many years ago and can’t get past the ‘past’. She asked my opinion of what to tell her, and here it is: JESUS.

In my mind’s eye, I see a crucified Jesus dying on a cross for me…bloodied, bludgeoned, humiliated. He died a public death for ME and my sinful past that cannot be erased from my memory or the history that others insist on remembering, you know….just in case I forgot ;)

My Faith is in my risen LORD. It is His shed Blood which washed my sin away never to be remembered again. Then, it is up to ME to rest in His finished work on the Cross, that I AM FORGIVEN and that NO ONE can take that away from me. EVER.

My dear sisters in the LORD: If you have had an abortion, I understand what you are going through, I have carried that bag. You do not have to carry this heavy burden any longer! TRUST IN JESUS – He will forgive, He will LOVE you, He will protect you!

Way too often I hear how God cannot possibly forgive them. NOTHING can be further from the truth! It isn’t God who won’t forgive, it’s people…people that you TRUST who will try to separate you from God by reminding you of your past. Relative righteousness is how people feed off other’s miseries and histories. Do not be fooled, God is not MOCKED; He will make beauty FROM ashes!

We need to require more from our friends and family who seek to keep us under subjection to THEM.

We are His, We are forgiven, We will NOT be forsaken.

Jesus said: “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” [Matthew 11:28-30]
